Waffle House

Went for dinner on a Thursday. The restaurant was clean, the food was very good and the staff was great! Will come back.

Disappointed. Who doesn’t visit the awful waffle after a good night out of drinking .don’t get me wrong I worked here years ago (we’re talking 13 years ago) so I get it and truly don’t expect top notch service but I do expect to at very least have my drink order taken after 10 mins when u are standing 2 feet from my table doing nothing … Walked out bc its unacceptable in my mind. Tried to get her attention to ask for some water and was informed «it’s gonna be a min» really? Your just standing there so you aren’t capable of making a water during that time c-​ya not giving this place my money or time obviously others felt the same sense while we were walking out apparently another customer had 2 sense that what the waitress ran out saying to him … 2 thumbs way way way down

To start with I went to IHop first but they were closing as we walked up. The Manager said he was sorry. The door said 24 hours. I wonder if the owner knew they were closing?
Ended up here as we didn’t want «fast food» and wanted to sit down to eat.
We made the 4^th table in the place.
There were only cooks in the place. The wait staff was not around. After about 7 min of sitting there the main cook came over after trying to get the servers to come out from the back and offered us something to drink while we were waiting.
About 5 min after he brought us waters the waiters came in from the back.
One guy looked stoned and would not make eye contact with his boss.
I guess they were in the middle of shift change.
The waitress finally took out order. She was nice. It then took another 6 min until she put the order in.
The food here is the same as the rest so not rating the food.
The service really sucked. We would have left but no where else to eat at the now 11:30pm.
Will eat at this location again only if the very last choice.
The Patty Melt was good though. Lol

Waffle Waffle!
I was really in the mood for a waffle, bacon, and eggs. The All-​Star Special includes a lot more food than anyone can eat, but it’s a lot cheaper than buying à la carte. And I’m pretty sure that the cook’s feelings weren’t hurt because I didn’t eat my grits or toast.
