Prompt service and very knowledgeable manager, James. Personable and answered our questions in understandable language. My second phone purchase at this store and I will go back when I need another. Great job James.

I was contacted recently by this company to apologize for the previously very poor customer service I received from them back in October 2012. They are under new management and offered to make amends. Upon re-contacting them, I was treated with the utmost respect and helpfulness from their staff. I am now open to giving this business a second chance and am currently impressed with their willingness to work with their customers to achieve a mutually beneficial outcome.

I walked into this store to get help with my phone, the gentleman behind the counter explained that I could call Verizon and get replacement. Once replacement was in he could help switch info and get me connected with same number… I make the call, verizon sent phone 2nd day(awesome right?) This morning I walk in first thing with package in hand. I don’t think he remembered me because it was like talking to a completely different person. No we can’t connect you… if you want data switched there is a $ 20.00 fee. Talk about bait and switch! Warning to all who come here… this is a retailer first(ie sales) not costumer service friendly. They will do the minimum if it costs nothing, like telling you to put your phone in a box and mail it. But actual service… you pay to play here.

I went to this store after buying my new phone. I was supposed to mail my old phone back to Verizon and I wasn’t sure how to do that. The man I talked to behind the counter took my old phone and very quickly packaged it for me, then told me to take it next door to usps where they would ship it for free because he had taped a paper on the package that said Verizon would pay for it! He also cleared my confusion about«edge» and why I had saved so much money by doing it. Quick, free, I now understand things I didn’t before. Great service. Thanks.

Sooo, I walk in to the Good land Verizon feeling frustrated and depressed. Not only did my phone have a crack in the glass, it had what I thought to be a dead battery… Basically useless and down for the count. Enter the very cordial Jim and Sean. They walked me thru my options with gentle honesty. Yes, I had to order a new phone being that I had insurance. However, they did this little Verizon secret voodoo magic on my phone that gave new life to the battery and would buy me some time until my new phone arrived. I appreciated their help so much, my phone is my lifeline as a single mom with a 3 and ½ yr old in daycare. They truly saved the day! Will be back! Thank you!

I have been a Verizon customer for years and have been dealing with the Santa Barbara branch of Verizon due to their customer service. I finally tried the Goleta branch and I am SO disappointed. The sales clerk«Kenneth» had absolutely no customer service attributes whatsoever. He was rude, rolled his eyes at every request made, acted as if dealing with clients was a chore as opposed to his job, and argued with me about the screen saver. The only requests made of him were to activate an upgraded basic phone I received from Verizon in the mail and put a screen protector on(which he failed miserably at and had to be redone properly by another associate). I would NOT recommend this Verizon branch. Take the time to go out to the upper State Street Verizon. You will be treated like an appreciated customer there. After all these complaints, you would think that management would have the employees take a mandatory«customer service» course.

They are not a real corporate Verizon wireless store. We bought an iPhone from them. It’s a no return policy. The store manager said it was an Apple thing. I assumed they were wrong as the Verizon website said it’s a 14-day return policy. Because they are not a real Verizon store they don’t have to follow the same rules. Either go to a real Verizon store on State street or maybe Best Buy. Best Buy has a 30-day return policy. Also, although they sound very knowledgeable, I found at least 2 instances where they were wrong. Google has positive reviews for the store, but if you check the writers you’ll find that they gave the same positive reviews to other non-corporate Verizon wireless stores and had no other reviews.

I have to say, first off, that I have never bought from a locally owned Verizon store. However, I went with expectations of similar service fthat I usually recieved from rom Verizon Corporate stores. I guess I SHOULDHAVE guessed that the locally owned stores do not have the same selection as the corporate stores, and that they had to do things differently because they are a subset of what the corporate stores are. However, I did feel really annoyed nontheless. Basically, I went in asking to have 2 phone chargers replaced for 2 Incredible 2 phones that I had bought from a corporate store in another town. They had become frayed in two places, and my personal phone’s battery had acquired voltage problems from the faulty charger. I told them that I would like to have the chargers replaced and a new battery for my phone. Instead of looking into it, they had me call the standard customer service number for Verizon and wait on hold until I could speak with a representative to check if my warranty was still valid. While still on the phone, and I told them that yes, it certainly was, and asked if they needed confirmation from the representative on the phone. They said no, so I hung up. They then laughed at me and said that I should have stayed on the line to order a new one because they did not have replacements. I told them that the entire reason I was in there was to get the cords and battery replaced, and that I did not need help ordering a new one, I needed a working phone, which meant I needed a battery and chargers then, not in a week, which is why I came to the store in the first place. They said they did not have replacements, and I would need to go to a corporate store. I just wished that they could have told me right away that they could not provide me with the same service as a corporate store, rather than put me on the phone and laugh at me like I was an idiot.
