Locals love the place, and we could see why. The owner is an absolute card! This review is based-solely on the RV park portion and not the docks and related fishing services for fishing expeditions on the Rouge River. Specific to the RV park portion the Internet was inaccessible unless you were literally in-front of the office building. I had better luck picking up a signal from Motel 6 across the very-wide river. Second, the rate(since it is based on unit length) is higher than the region by anywhere from $ 6-$ 9 but if you were there for fishing the convenient dockside park might be worth the extra bucks but to just overnight may not. Lastly, did not like paid shower setup… really! The place is for sale so if you have always wanted a fishing and lure business with an adjoining dock and RV park on the Oregon coast, it can be your’s for $ 1.7 million… give Larry a call.

I love this place! Great service and people… see my picture… they have helped us novices above and beyond the call of duty… day, weekly, monthly mooring, clean and stable docks. Nice river view, level Rv campsites. Friendly people that are friendly and a wealth of knowledge… We are customers and friends for LIFE!

5 star experience all the way. We headed up to Gold Beach with king salmon in our sites and needed to rent a couple fishing boats. After calling around we discovered you can only rent from 2 places. Given that we ended up at Lex’s. Glad we did! Larry, the owner was helpful and friendly. He also disclosed the most effective way to land Rogue River kings, which proved to be productive. One of his boat rentals included a depth/fish finder which came in handy. Cleaning, vacuum packaging and flash freezing was also provided. This was especially important to us so we could enjoy the freshest possible filet after returning home. All in all, Lex’s Landing offered great service and a memorable fishing trip.
