I was a little hesitant to come here because it was a small salon in a very small town. I am an enthusiastic supporter of small businesses, so I gave it a go. They had done a wonderful job of my friend’s hair for her wedding the year before so I was willing to take a chance. It was located in a house in a residential neighborhood, most likely the former garage that they had turned into the salon. It was nice inside and looked like a typical salon. The practice session for my bridal hairdo was awesome and I really liked Robert. I liked it so much that I booked my whole wedding party with the salon. Both James and Robert are wonderful people who really listen to what you want. I brought in a few pics of what I envisioned my hair to look like and they were able to work with those ideas. They even went along with my changes that I added on the day of my wedding. They did an amazing job of everyone’s hair on my wedding day. I had so many compliments on my hair at the wedding. It was better then what I had in mind. It stayed through the hot, Kansas summer heat and the gust of wind that would not stop blowing during our photo session. It barely moved!!! Even when I was dancing up a storm, my pinned curls stayed in place. The best part about this secret gem of a place, they do not overcharge. There is nothing worse then leaving a salon and thinking you paid too much for so-so hair. I felt like they did not charge me enough considering the phenomenal work they had done for everyone! Next time I am visiting my family, I am sure to book my next cut with them.
