I frequent this restaurant allot. Great bar tenders both Robin and Judy. As for the food it’s just fair. But it’s local in The neighborhood easy to get to and from. Now they just need to refresh and change the menu it’s time for an update. Lastly they should look at the shrimp cargout they serve for Rene out orders. Maybe you should have one made for you take it home and then look at it. It looks like slop.

Glyndon Grill was truly a pleasant surprise! I took a chance and purchased a Groupon after reading the reviews on Unilocal. My daughter and I were quickly seated and had the best waitress, Susie. Susie was very knowledgable about the menu and was able to answer our questions. I really appreciated her honesty. For example I added the mash potatoes to my meal and she said they can sometimes be dry but she had checked and they were light and fluffy. She was on point because they were quite delish! We started off with the Crab & Artichoke Fondueit was a party in my mouth. The mango mojito washed it down nicely. My entrée was the rack of lamb with broccolini. The lamb was cooked to perfection and the extra added flavor from the Demi glacé was exceptional. The broccolini was very deceptive sitting there like unassuming green forest that looked like it was flavorless. This was far from the truth because there were notes of garlic and just the right amount of salt to make this veggie come to life! I don’t usually get dessert but when I saw the homemade mint chocolate chip ice cream sandwich I had to try it. It’s huge so my daughter and I shared it. It’s not like any ice cream sandwich you’ve ever had. I’ll include a pic because it will blow your mind! Don’t let this grill past you by. They’re often on Groupon and it’s a great way to check them out.

A touch on the pricey side, $ 6.50 for a 12oz. draft? My burger seemed to be of the pre-made frozen variety. Who melts blue cheese on a burger? It is a 4 dollar add on to add a salad to an entrée. My son had the kids ribs dinner. It consisted of 3 very small ribs and some fries. My wife had the roasted beet salad. The beets were definitely not roasted.

Stopped in today for a quick lunch w/the family and was pleasantly surprised. Food was amazing and service was great. Crab and Artichoke dip was very tasty. Mango and mandarin salad was very fresh and shrimp was cooked to perfection. Hubby and son said burgers were great. Will definitely return. Prices were about average

I ventured to Glyndon Grill for a friend’s birthday Saturday night. She reserved their party room which was really nice and intimate! We have two servers who took care of approximately 30 people and did a great job. For dinner I ordered a glass of Moscato, the Prince Edward Island Mussels, and the Barrett’s Lobster & Shrimp Roll. First…the Mussels! They were delishhh! They really gold suffice for a entrée for one person that’s how many they were. The cream sauce was delicious as well and served as a nice dipping sause for my toast :) As for the lobster & shrimp roll… Humph! I was slightly disappointed. The shrimp tasted like straight sea water with nooooo seasoning! As a test to make sure it was the shrimp and not the lobster I took the shrimp off and then was pleased. The lobster tasted delish. If I were to order the same thing again I would choose the all lobster option for $ 2 more! The fries were shoestring fries and we’re nothing to rave about. My friend ordered the Lamb Lollipops and the Crab & Artichoke Fondue and they both were good to me(I had to sample hers of course lol) Overall, Glyndon Grill served it purpose I just know to steer clear of that shrimp!

We met friends here for dinner before going to the Gordon Center for a movie. They were doing a nice business on Saturday night, but we had made a reservation so we didn’t have to wait for a table. The Vegetarian in the group ordered a variety of side dishes and enjoyed them all. I had the crab cakes with fries. The cakes themselves were mostly crab meat and very tasty. I didn’t ask for them to be broiled, and they came out fried, but were not over done, as fried foods sometime are. All in all, a good choice. The French fries that came with them were small and crispy, just the way I like them. One of our friends had a fish of the day dinner, the other friend had the French dip. I had not been to the Glyndon Grill in years, but am looking forward to another visit soon.

Tonight, my friend and I FINALLY got to check out the Burger and Beer night. It lived up to everything that everyone was saying. We both got the Fried Egg Burger, my friend Medium and mine Medium Rare. I paid $ 0.25 extra to get mushrooms added on top of mine. Out of the many burgers I have had in my life, I have to go on record and say this was in the top 3. The egg added on top of the burger patty with the American Cheese, Lettuce, Mayo, and Sauteed Onions, plus the Mushrooms made for both a juicy and deliciously messy burger. The other burger options looked great as well. Both of us also got beer with our meals for $ 2 and $ 4 respectively. For all that you get, the price point of this deal was more than adequate. My friend is sitting here still talking about the burger even after we got home. He mentioned it was one of the best burgers he’s ever had. His burger came with fries, while I kept the chips that are the default side. The bartender we had was very friendly and answered the questions we had; plus our food did not take long at all considering the volume of diners they had. With that being said, if you decide to check out this Burger and Beer Night(available EVERY Thursday), call ahead and make a reservation. You will thank yourself I cannot wait to go back and get another mouth-watering burger at Glyndon Grill. I recommend everyone try out this great deal!

We came in from San Diego and were visiting relatives. The corn & crab chowder was very good. The lobster roll was PACKED with lobster. My cousin’s prime rib dip looked amazing. The food was all very good and very fresh. Downside was the service. A bit slow with a lack of attention. We all ran out of drinks, which is bad when you order ice tea, coffee and the bottomless Bloody Mary! Better attention to service would greatly improve the experience.

Love Glyndon Grill! We go here a lot and always have great food and service! The kale salad is fantastic and the burgers are great. Thursday night all burgers are half off or $ 5(some great, cheap special) which is great. Drinks are good. Service can be a little slow and the bar servers are sometimes underage so not able to suggest beers on special but otherwise this restaurant is great!

I had my bridal shower at Glyndon Grill, and heard rave reviews from friends and family who attended! We had about 35 people and we did a brunch buffet in one of the party rooms. We had an omelet station, bananas foster french toast, bacon, yogurt/granola/fruit, and fries. The fries were supposed to be homefries but they were french fries instead(not a big deal because everyone loved them!) I was personally a huge fan of the french toast! And the mimosas, which just kept on coming! The servers were very accommodating. There was also crème brûlée for dessert, which were perfectly portioned and a huge hit! People were going back for seconds. A lot of attendees said it was there first time there, but they’d definitely return. I can’t speak for dinner, but the brunch is on point, and I would recommend Glyndon Grill as a good place to a have a private party.

DON“T believe the hype! NEVER again will we eat here. Two couples in our party on Saturday. 1. At 730 pm, waiter took our order. Two of us ordered chicken pot pie. So the waiter says excellent choice, walked away, came back with appetizer, and 20 minutes later told us they were out of chicken pot pies. Place wasn’t even that crowded. Why wait that long to tell us? So we had to scramble to order something else, AND, we had to re-ask for menu! Idiot not only told us WAY after we ordered, but didn’t even bring a menu! How can a restaurant that is kinda known for pot pie RUNOUTEARLYAT7:30 on a Saturday! 2. Ordered a bottled beer. Ah, a good cold beer on a Sat night. WRONG! Beer was warm. Ordered a second bottle: WARMAGAIN! 3. Three servers brought our food out at the same time, did a three stooges act bumping into each other at the table and knocked a ketchup cup into my wife’s hair. No apology from our waiter, no apology from the manager, no comp on meal or dessert. 4. The burger I ordered, at $ 13, was the size of a SLIDER! I have never seen a burger that small in ANY restaurant I have ever been to! Especially for THAT price. 5. I know that this place has received some good reviews, but TRUST me, there is a brainwash mentality over this dump and I have no idea why. Crowd was mostly mid 60’s-mid 70’s. Very loud in back room(this is where they stick the oldies). All in all, a very bad experience all around. We will never go here again. There’s no need to. Could go to half a dozen places better than this all within 5 miles. My guess? It will be gone within a few years once the regular blue hair crowd finds the next flavor of the day restaurant and gets tired of this one.

Best pot pie I’ve ever had! Also, I highly recommend the crab and artichoke fondu. My girlfriend had the ribs and they had great seasoning and sauce, but came out a little warm instead of hot like my pot pie. Overall great service, great food, great atmosphere.

My husband and I have frequented Glyndon Grill many times. Good standard American fair with a few standouts. They disappointed me tonight though. I went online to check the menu to place a carry out order. The salmon was listed at $ 16, good deal. When I picked it up I saw i was charged $ 19. When I pointed it out to the bar tender she showed the manager whose response was” there’s a disclaimer that the price could change”. I went back online and saw no disclaimer. DISAPPOINTING that this is how they did business

Everything was very good! Had the smoked lox n bagel, waffles with chicken pieces on the side, the hash browns were very crispy n flavorful, the bagel was very fluffy n came out warm. Friends had custom omlettes that came out picture perfect(although we ate it up fast, I have no picture to show) Our server Vlad G was very accommodating, nice n attentive to our group. Definitely would come back here for brunch! They also serve alcohol, plenty of parking, has a bar area as well.

Went for brunch on a Saturday afternoon. Surprisingly, the dining room was nearly empty. I enjoyed the food and the server was pleasant. Only downside was there was bacon in the potatoes and it was not indicated on the menu Gave them to BF and enjoyed a lovely eggs Benedict. I believe I overheard another waiter mention bottomless mimosas and bloody Mary’s but our server never mention to us

This was my first time eating here. I went for lunch on Sunday with a group of fellow Army Officers, two of which have eaten here several times already. On arrival we were seated promptly and our waitress came over within 2 minutes to take drink orders. I was very disappointed that they offer Pepsi products instead of Coke, so instead I had unsweetened iced tea. I didn’t penalize them for this tragic error… Lol!!! After listening to our waitress rattle off all the daily chef choice dishes I decided on the soup and salad combo. Apparently from the older reviews, they frequently offer tomato basil as the soup of the day, which is what I selected. I ordered the Glyndon salad with dressing on the side paired with the Tamato Basil soup. The soup was actually very very good… My only wish is that they offer a grilled cheese sandwich to go with this soup. I could eat the Tomato basil soup everyday, it’s that darn good!!! While my salad was good, I was greatly disappointed with how small the serving size was, especially considering the combo cost $ 12. The salad was very small(see picture)!!! My friend has the crispy chicken sandwich served with fresh cut shoestring French fries, which while taste were definitely soggy and not crispy at all. The experience was overall a good one, the service excellent even though their prices are a little steep. I plan on returning to sample more variety’s.
