Just tried the hamburger. «Hamburger?» you ask. Ah, but this delectable«sammich» adds ham to the juicy, hand-formed hamburger. Truly a ham-burger, and worthy of fulsome praise it is, too! I shall return. You should, too.

Came here on a day ride for breakfast. The Americana skillet was amazing, the biscuits and gravy fantastic, and the pancakes huge, light and fluffy. Great service by nice people in a fun atmosphere. One of the best breakfasts I’ve had in years. Highly recommended!

We had gone to the arboretum, drove to Globe and visited the other local sites. By mid-afternoon and before our check in at the B & B we went to fldowntown Globe to procure a beverage. Not much was open since it was Good Friday and also since Globe closes early. However this place was open SK we went in and got some fountain drinks. They have a menu of sandwiches and such but we were just there for the drinks. We got service by a very pleasant woman. We took our drinks outside and sat at the bistro tables and watched the goings-on of Globe on a Friday evening. We observes the number of closed buildings and Globe youth out hanging about. It was kind of nice to glimpse into small town life in these United States in 2016. We finished our drinks with a new perspective.

During our recent trip to Globe, we wound up driving to these parts without stopping for breakfast. By the time we arrived at this city, we were famished and any place to eat sounded interesting. As long as it was warm! They just had fresh snow fall the previous evening, and yours truly wore his normal road trip outfit of shorts and a light jacket. I wound up being the talk of the town filled with people that failed to see the humor in my lack of preparation for the cold weather. It was only 32 degrees, with a slight wind chill. Everyone else was bundled up, including my wife, and I was the only one walking around in shorts! I got tired of being asked if I was cold! Is that the first thing you would ask a stranger in these parts? In any case, we decided to park in the middle of town, and I made a command decision to stop by this diner. We were promptly and kindly greeted by the proprietors, who happened to be this old couple that were just full of energy and pizzazz. They had a few guests when we arrived, including a family that commandeered the upstairs game loft. However, shortly after we arrived, a great lunch crowd of strangers /tourists from all parts stopped by and wanted to have lunch as well. I will say that the food here isn’t spectacular. My wife and I had both cheeseburgers, and I had a corn dog as well, for good measure. Because of the lunch rush, our orders took longer to deliver but I didn’t mind. I amused myself, like a little kid, with the slot cars, the foosball table, and the upright video games. This isn’t a common sight anymore, but this place was sure a fun destination for the kids in this sleepy little town. If you are looking for Haute Cuisine in Globe, this is not the place; if there are any. But, if you are looking for a quick bite, in a cold day(while you are all bundled up), and enjoy playing with toys and video games — this is definitely the place to be! I had a blast, even after answering the same question for the umpteenth time — aren’t you cold? :)

A great place to grab breakfast, lunch or dinner ! They are very welcoming here. Truly family run — the owners basically live there ! The food is «lunch counter«style. They serve a good breakfast with some downright Cheap options & coffee included, No Extra Charge! Lunch& Dinner –Mainly sandwiches, hotdogs, soups French fries, pretzels & such.(«corn nuggets«appetizer =yum) But everything is home-made and fresh. Top-shelf hot dogs and sausages with gourmet toppings(try The Gila Monster !) I love that they deliver to Farleys Pub a few doors down — if you fancy a drink with your dog . My niece had her BIRTHDAYPARTY here and all they kids had a great time playing with all the arcade games, air hockey and pool table& board games It was VERYREASONABLYPRICED and the food was great and the owners were totally cool to the kids(they even have a good grades club, so STUDENTS should bring in their report cards for prizes) — they really want people to socialize and play games here ! Such a little gem in downtown Globe !

Love coming here. Food is good, it’s diner food… nothing mind blowing but it’s yummy and the prices are very reasonable. They have red cream soda at the fountain– One of my favorites! The atmosphere is fun, littles games and an area for little kids! Fun little place to grab some food.

I highly recommend the biscuits and gravy with an over easy egg on top to start your day off right! I love that coffee is included with breakfast, that should be a rule for all restaurants. Will definitely be a destination for future rides

Everything is relative. Perhaps in Globe this is five stars. I am here because there was no other food for fifty miles. A prudent person would have just kept going. Friendly enough staff, but this restaurant, much like this town, is pretty bleak.

We stopped here to grab a bite of lunch a and to maybe experience something unique besides Taco Bell on the way back to the valley! The place had an eclectic tribute to the 60’s and all the things teenage boys would like back then. Slot cars, games, pool, and Star Wars posters are scattered around the restaurant to be enjoyed by all. After our cheap yet diner-delish lunch, we started laps on the slot cars and got wrapped up in the fun. Will definitely tell anyone who is looking for a nostalgic throw back to stop by this place.

I just ate here an it was so good! We were in a antique store in Globe and asked a lady that worked there where she recommends we eat and she said here! You can order on the menu or pretty much ask for any sandwich and he will make it! I got a blt and added avocado onto it and the onion fries. The sandwich was great and so were the fries. The onion chunks/fries are pretty much just like onion rings but in French fry shape instead of a ring with red flakes to add just a tiny bit of spice. It was a perfect amount of food and didn’t leave feeling too full. The couple that owns the place were very nice and good at making sandwiches.

We stumbled across this on our trip around Globe, Tonto, etc. Wonderful lunch stop for touring families after or before a visit to Besh Ba Gowah! Board games and legos available for little kids, but good interesting well-prepared food by the friendly owners. My husband had a turkey-avocado club sandwich that was terrific and the sweet potato fries(no batter!) were great. Highly recommended, and I don’t even live here. It’s only 6 months old, so don’t worry about the lack of reviews.

I love it here!!! My kids love the games and we love the food!!! The soup here is good every day no matter the weather! They are even open on Sunday which in our roll up sidewalk town is a miracle! In globe where there is mostly awesome Mexican food restaurants this gives us locals an actual choice that is worth bring the kids too.
