We had D/​R Services come out in September to do some siding/​rotten wood repair before painting the exterior of our home. After receiving an estimate for about $ 1300 I told them to go ahead with the work that needed to be done (cedar siding boards, shed siding, patio door frame and sliding door frame). The carpenter they sent to do the work took two times longer than expected even AFTER sending another person the first day. He was slow and didn’t update me with any pricing that was to change from the original estimate.
After almost a week of work (which was supposed to take 2 days) and then not even changing the cedar siding boards, but filling them with wood filler (which my painter would have done for free) I receive an invoice for double the amount.
Then after much discussion, they were willing to meet me in the middle of the original estimate and final invoice (a difference of about $ 600). After a couple months I received a call asking for the rest of the payment. After sending the original strain of emails, he said he made note of the mistake on their end and I would not be bothered again. However, then a few more months went by and I received ANOTHER call about the rest of the payment. I have since spoken to someone on the phone as well as emailed them making sure it has been noted and resolved so I don’t get bothered with this again.
Unfortunately, I do not recommend them. The work they did is fine, but after not being updated as I should have been and kept in the loop with the changes and time spent, I will not be using them again.

I contracted with this company to perform a complete bathroom remodel, install doors/​hardware and other handyman stuff.
D/​R performed the work on time and according to budget.
D/​R performed the work continuously on the project, so that the construction did not drag on longer than its should have.
The company was especially good at communicating any and all issues which necessarily arise with a construction project of this size.
D/R’s professional, Will, had good ideas about the design of the bathroom, which in turn, made the bathroom look better than I planned and expected.
They definitely know what they are doing and will suggest adding/​removing materials/​labor based upon the best construction practices, allowing you not to worry if you missed something or don’t even know what questions to even ask.
While not looking forward to the next construction project, I am looking forward to using this company again.

We had Ron and Carl at our house for miscellaneous repairs. Not only did they do an outstanding job, We felt they were honest and trustworthy. They are certified/​licensed professionals, and they really know what they are doing. We felt comfortable with them in our home, and would definitely call them again! Also want to duly note the professional scheduling and communication from Lance at D-​R Services.
