I think this place is no longer in business… nobody answers the phone and the location has a different business there now.

Café Namoo is a great little café in this wonderful Plaza. Next-door to a karaōke place, this café offers excellent coffee options and much more! The Bingsoo actually tasted quite good, if you are into that type of Korean dish. Service was great, and the ambience was very casual with a few people of all ages. This café is a great hangout spot, or just a quick stop for a great cup of coffee!

This was a nice place to try a delightful Korean cold snack I’ve never had before — a fruit bingsoo. The portions here are very generous, and a «small» which is plenty big goes for a very reasonable $ 4.99. It’s made of shaved ice, red beans, fruits, and ice cream with some chocolate syrup. As you’re working on it, it all sort of commingles into a delicious mush. It took the friendly young lady a few minutes to make the concoction, so I was wondering what it might be like if the place was crowded, but that wasn’t our problem on this afternoon. Will be back!

Great prices and environment. Good place to study during slow hours. The coffee drinks are decent, the green tea latte tastes like green tea ice cream, and the fruit bingsoo is pretty good and its price makes it more preferable to other places you can get bingsoo near by. Definitely will be coming back.

The Fruit Bingsoo that we got looked different than the pictures that we saw on Unilocal. It also looked bigger in pics then it actually was. It was a good solid bingsoo nothing crazy but I didn’t like it with chocolate sauce they drizzle for decoration… lose it please! Cute little place… getting coffee takes forever for some reason. I love Bingsoo so it’s good everywhere… you gotta really make it special to stand out from others

Absolutely yummy patbingsoo!!! I didn’t like former IceT here at all… they had terrible coffee, sub-par tea, and terrible waffles… but Café Namoo is amazing. Plus, much more seating and space! Love the atmosphere and the owner/employee are super nice~~~~! Do not miss the old place at all~and we are hoping that Café Namoo is here to stay!!!

This is my second time at Café Namoo. I had a craving for bingsoo and needed a quick fix. I dropped by and ordered a regular sized fruit bingsoo. The fruit bingsoo here is plentiful with a lot of fresh fruits, mochi, and sweet bean. The owner of the store greeted me well when I walked in and even advised me to order a smaller cup size bingsoo because a regular size would be too big and a waste of money for me. I got a cup size bingsoo but she served me the bingsoo in a very large bowl. I can truly see that the owner cares about her business and her customer. I would definitely return here for the atmosphere, quality of the food and also for the customer service.

Stopped in after AYCEKBBQ with friends to get their caffeine fix and found ourselves ordering a bingsoo too despite being stuffed. The interior is great for studying or socializing with large tables scattered throughout. The staff was very friendly and quick about everything. While I’ve had better bingsoo elsewhere, theirs was still decent. We got the fruit bingsoo which consisted of red beans, strawberries, kiwi, banana, mochi and mango ice cream. Although I didn’t try my friends’ green tea lattes, they really enjoyed it. Great place to chill and catch up with people if you’re in the burbs.

It had all the basics I look for in a café: free wi-fi, parking lot, ample outlets, and adequate table space. I had their reg sized latte and it was what I normally consider a large at chain coffee stores. The drink menu is nothing fancy — the solid basics plus a few flavors. But they’re really all I need. I can’t say I know that much about coffee to comment, but I liked theirs. It was a little thinner with some herbal tones. Korean ballads played in the background and the shop was decorated in contemporary pieces. The art pieces are made by a local artist and have contact info(I’m guessing in case you want to buy). Overall — great study place and relaxing atmosphere!

Nice and clean coffee shop. They have the best bing soos ever. The Namoo bing soo has espresso, brownies, bananas, shaved ice, and ice cream to top it off. They also have delicious pastries and expresso drinks. The owner is super sweet as well and to her regulars she treats you like VIP

You know those places that have a pretty limited menu but the things they do they do just right? This is one of those places. They have some of the best fruit bingsoos I’ve ever had. Lots of ingredients, fresh fruit, great balance of flavors and pretty big portions. It’s a nice, clean, open space with art on the wall to view and contemplate if you are in the mood. Like with many Korean café’s they also have a selection of magazines to browse if you’re bored and even some Manga I believe!

I have tried this place again. Our party shared a regular sized shaved ice(bing soo) and I had americano while a couple of my wife’s friends got cappucino. We were very satisfied with the size of shaved ice(perfect for 4 people for a post supper dessert), and coffee tasted good too. My americano was a little strong, but wasn’t bitter. I also liked the attentiveness of the staff in this café. It might be due to the fact that they just opened the business, but the lady behind the counter was very attentive both times I have visited. I think the quality of product and service is worth 4 stars.

I absolutely adore this little café. It’s clean, homey, and so very welcoming. It’s a Korean spot, I feel totally fine coming often, even though I’m not Korean. The Barista is one of the sweetest people I have ever met. Apparently she worked at a café during her college years in Korea and wanted to open one here in Chicago. They have a decent sized menu and the sizes are generous. A regular white mocha latte is about $ 3.50. It’s double the size and a dollar cheaper than the Starbucks tall(small). They have coffee, tea, bubble tea, and pat bingsu. If you don’t know what that is, it’s sort of a frozen dessert with fresh fruit, ice cream, mochi, red beans, and shaved ice. Get a personal sized bingsu if it’s just you because the portions are large. What I love most is the fact that they use biodegradable cups so you aren’t harming the environment as much every time you stop for a drink here! Yay Environment! I can go on and on about this place but the bottom line is, if you want quality coffee made with LOVE, head to café namoo! Plus, she loves her regulars! Not only once, but twice, I got free treats from her for stopping by! Can’t you feel the love?

My new patbingsu(Shaved ice dessert) spot! This place replaces the old«IceT» café and my friend was a little disappointed they don’t serve waffles like the former place did. Upon walking in, there isn’t too much to look at since they opened pretty recently. The walls are dull and the menu is tiny as well. It seems they only serve patbingsu and coffee so I was a little sad I didn’t have too much variety to choose from. I thought I overheard the server offer cheesecake to someone but I didn’t see it on the menu. But. their patbingsu was so good! I love that they used fresh fruit and not those fruit cocktails that come from the cans. There were fresh mangoes, kiwi, and strawberry. and SOMUCHMOCHI! I don’t like patbingsus that are way too sweet and this one definitely was not! Most places also skimp on the mochi but they were pretty generous. They also serve cup-sized patbingsu’s which is something I’ve never seen in other suburban korean cafes. The place has a lot of potential and I can’t wait to see what else they will offer. I really hope the menu I saw is not the extent of the items they will serve in the future. I give this place 4 stars because the server is friendly, patbingsu is one of the best I’ve had, and the place has a lot of seating. I would definitely come here again!
