I’ve really never had anything but the inside outs here but that alone is the reason I give it five stars. Once you crave one there is nothing like it and you just have to get your hands on one. It’s crispy and warm and a tad messy but sooooo good. Also their fries are good too.

Whenever I visit home, a plain inside out is one of the first things I want. Nothing really compares to double decker. I remember going to the original store in Ridley when I was little and they definitely kept up the quality when they opened up the Glenolden store. Dangit, now I want one…

It’s average, and that’s what. They’re good, just not great. Nothing on the menu is a wow, and it’s all things you can get anywhere else in the area. It’s just your average local pizza joint.

Me and my family visit Philly every three months to see family, and we always make sure to eat at the Double Decker in media. They are always fast and professional with a touch of that small family feel that restaurants use to provide when I was a kid. The food is always fresh and hot. The service is great and I can’t believe how good the prices are, I’ve paid twice as much in the same area for far lower quality food. Love this place, it’s the only place the kids ask for every time we visit!

My husband and I love Double Decker! My husband gets the inside out, almost every time. Never a complaint. I always get the BLT club, due to the fact that I’m an extremely picky eater. With that in mind, I am very critical. Along with my husband, I don’t have any complaints. Keep up the good work!

Friendly people, fast service and, on the whole, decent food. However… The price gouging is OUT. OF. CONTROL. In an era(if you want to call it that) when local shops are raising costs every 6 months(at most), Double Decker just isn’t worth the bang for your buck. The pizza is the greasiest I’ve ever had. EVER. The famous Inside Out… well, if you like a hot pocket of air with little cheese and sauce for $ 4.50 a pop, you’re in luck. There was a time, not too long ago, you’d order a regular Inside Out and it would be loaded with sauce and cheese. You could get two for around $ 5. Those days are long gone. Go somewhere else for steak sandwiches. It’s easy to find better in Delco(re: Leo’s in Folcroft). Double Decker is shrinking their sizes and portions, too. I ordered a chicken parm on a kaiser roll for $ 6(joke) and was disappointed. The good? Their burgers and fries are top notch.

My family and I have ordered from here about 3 times the food is good for the most part. Inside out pizzas are great, mozzarella sticks were good not greasy, mozzarella fries and cheese wiz fries were good. The turkey bacon ranch rustic was not so good. I was expecting real turkey and got cold cut turkey instead. Overall its a good place with decent prices.

This Unilocal profile is different than they actually do, ’cause they decide on the spot if they want to do delivery for you. These days all I want is decent pizza and a nice sub I even offer a nice tip, but the person says«sorry bub.»

Coworkers and I order from Double Decker probably once a week for lunch. Their service is always consistent. Fast, fresh and good. This may sound like total blasphemy but I don’t get the inside outs… The individuals that do and then later complain about how sick it made them — you chose to eat large amounts of fried dough! Fools. Anyway I recommend the pita pizza — it’s the perfect sized individual pizza(cheese and sauce on rolled out pita). I also really enjoy their gyros and salads(I like the Greek). They are upfront about their delivery times(I’ve learned to call a little earlier is all). I don’t believe there is a minimum CC charge and you can add driver’s tip to the CC as well… Next time you order out give Double Decker a try!

Ordered a buffalo chicken stromboli but gave us dried out chicken piece of crap. I was starving but couldn’t eat more than one bite of it. Also, once we got the receipt it didn’t match with the menu prices but didn’t want to argue over two dollars. Unethical crappy place.

Because I love inside out pizzas so much I decided to give this place another shot. We ordered 7 inside outs from Double Decker. 5 of them baked and 2 deep fried. They all arrived piping hot and quickly. They were absolutely delicious and we didn’t have any stomach problems the next day. We thoroughly enjoyed them and will definitely be order from them again. They completely earned the new stars. Way to go Double Decker. You’re doing it right.

Always a tried and true since I was a kid at the orginal in Ridley Park. This is Delco all the way. Dough on the outside, sauce and cheese heated to about 11,000 Kelvin inside. What could go wrong? If you arent waring it by the end your are not doing it right.

Double Decker=Inside Outs. They may or may not be the greatest thing to happen to food ever. Especially after a long night of drinking. It is an «inside out» pizza(a small stromboli more-or-less, but the dough is much thinner, and it’s fried). Ugh. So good. I want one now. The kicker is, I have strayed from inside-outs to get actual food from Double Decker, and I gotta say, I was really *really* surprised at how good it was. My favorite being the Delux Salad, which is basically a hoagie on lettuce with no roll(though they do give you a roll, so I guess you could make a hoagie if you wanted… hmmm…). I get it without the tuna because the ham, turkey, two kinds of cheese, peppers, olives, tomatoes, and onions are quite enough for me. They also recently switched over to a new kind of roll for their hoagies and they are AWESOME! If you haven’t gotten a sandwich from them recently, DOIT! I’m also a fan of the turkey club on wheat, which is never dried out and always incredible.

The inside outs are yummy(panzerottis elsewhere). I mean, really, what’s not to love about fried dough stuffed with cheese?!? You can get it baked, but what’s the point of that? The pizza is typical of the area pizza joints. pretty bad.
