Worlock Air Conditioning and Heating

I am glad that I read all the reviews instead of the three negatives– because I wound up hiring Worlock Air Conditioning. They installed a 3.5 ton Carrier air-​condition unit. They were on time and did a great job; the price was the best for the brand and tonnage that we needed and wanted. I appreciated Bill Worlock respecting my budget and timeline. The unit cools better than previous one so we are looking forward to a comfortable summer with lower utility bills. I had met with 3 other companies and they were by far the best. It was an added bonus to support a family owned company that has been in Arizona for many years. I highly recommend them. Thanks Bill and Rachel Worlock

Unfortunately I had to give them one star! They certainly do not deserve it! Bill Worlock came out to repair my system. They said it needed maintenance and to replace a basic part. After they were done (and $ 3400), it still didn’t work. They then said I needed new thermostats at $ 189 each ($ 60 at the local hardware store). The one unit still didn’t work. Then they said I needed a new compressor for an additional $ 1900. At that point I told them to leave and called a reputable HVAC company. The new contractor came out and fixed Bill Worlock’s mistakes (wrong parts etc.) and advised me that if they had worked on it from the beginning it would have been just under $ 400.
Additionally, Bill advised me that his «sheet metal fabrication plant» would make me two new condensate pans for an additional $ 1100. Turns out the pans are $ 20 each at the local HVAC supplier.
Bill Worlock is very unprofessional, dishonest and incompetent. I guess this was a lesson learned for me!
