I LOVE VB stuff so I was more than excited to find out that there’s an actual VB store in Southern California! It’s at the Americana at Brand in Glendale. A beautiful shopping area that almost reminds you of Disneyland.
I was greeted by a friendly staff. The store was super cute with couch area with homey-​feel. Very well stocked inventory and they carried some things that I had never seen online.

This is a very nice store, especially if you’re a Vera Bradley enthusiast.
However, when I came here to return some items I purchased online, the older woman gave me a hard time.
She said, «Why didn’t you mail it back? It hurts our sales when you return items in store.»
I explained to her that the online customer service suggested I return at the store so I don’t have to pay for shipping.
Then she kept pressuring me to look at their sale items, which I did and ended up buying a wallet because she made me feel so guilty! :(
I’m sad to say this store needs staff who are better trained in customer service skills.

This store has the nicest associates. When you walk in, it feels like home. They greet you with smiles and nothing less. The ladies who work here never, ever put any pressure on you to shop. Unlike most stores, they are not pouncing on clients for commission. They are very helpful and create a smooth shopping experience. They always remember birthdays with mail-​in cards and coupons. They have a huge inventory of items and long lasting products. Love this place!

I happened upon this store while wandering around the new Americana at Brand in Glendale. Inside it looks like some old lady’s house. They sell all kinds of bags here in different types of cute, unique prints. The sales staff are very friendly and helpful. I ended up buying a make-​up bag here for my sister-​in-​law. They had these really cute small purses in a blue and yellow flower print that was 25% off when I was there, but I have too many purses so I resisted the temptation to buy it. Next time I’m in the area, though, I just may be tempted to pick something up for myself.
