REACT Defense Systems/Krav Maga of Glendale

I was given a 1 month gift certificate as a Christmas present for this training facility. I planned to go as much as I could during the month. However, after 2 weeks of training, relating and getting a great workout I decided to commit for the year.
I really enjoy coming to React, I have learned so much in just a few short weeks. I feel fit and growing in a new confidence. The instructors are not just skilled with techniques and combatives, they are practical, real and fun to learn from. The environment is personable and the instruction is easy to comprehend and apply.
I see the value of preparation for defense and safety. I also want my family safe so we have decided to bring our daughter to learn as well. I am looking forward to seeing her growth of being situationally aware and able to defend herself.

I’ve began training at REACT when I was 12 years old, now I am 20 and still train here.
There are so many things I could say about the different training they offer here!
First the fitness classes: After 8 years the classes still make me sweat and push myself to my limits. The classes are always changing and they are constantly coming up with new ways to improve the classes and make them more challenging. The fitness training at REACT is unlike anywhere else!
The Krav Maga self defense/​Tactical Black: There are so many unique things about Krav Maga that I believe makes it the best self defense system in the world, but if I listed them all this would be more of a book than a Unilocal review: p
So I will just leave it at this, Krav Maga does not take years to learn, each class you step into you learn a lifesaving technique. Unlike other systems where they hold out on you until you’ve been training longer, REACT shows you all you need to know as quickly as possible. Also the techniques and combatives are using big muscle groups so what you learn here is the same thing that your body will do under stress.
The Tactical Black classes are so realistic and deal with real world situations. In today’s world, there are some pretty scary things going on, and thanks to REACT and Tactical Black, I feel like I could protect myself.
So again, a HUGE thank you to REACT (and especially Michael and Tony) for all the help you’ve provided me and other people throughout the years :)
