Posh Nail Lounge

A friend and I came to get our nails done and at first everything was going well. until it wasn’t.
They initially set me up in a big comfy chair and 2 nail techs started working on my nails– one doing the pedicure, the other doing my manicure. At that point, I was ready to give them a full 5 stars because everything seemed to be going efficiently and in my book, efficient gets rave reviews.
So as someone worked on my toes, I picked out my gel color. After I picked out my color, they set the machine up on my lap. The nail tech working on my manicure cleaned my nails but then he ended up disappearing. So here I am with a clunky machine on my lap… waiting. My pedi got done and I was still just… waiting.
Eventually, someone came to finish my mani but she was pretty slow and even though I wasn’t super satisfied with my mani, I was too tired to fight it. Although I am a sucker for a good deal and paying $ 53 for a mani pedi is pretty decent, the service simply wasn’t good enough for me to come back.

OPI manicure chipped in 2 days– and they charged me extra for quick dry top coat– and it obviously didn’t work!

Go see Gloria. She’s fun and friendly and a great nail tech. My mom has been seeing Gloria for years and when I came for a visit from San Francisco, my mom took one look at my dry, cracked feet and said,“we’ve got to get you in to see my friend, Gloria!” Now my battered beach feet are looking and feeling fresh and pretty. Thanks Mom and Gloria!

I wanted to love it. But not sooo much. After a bad experience at lyly nails, I thought I’d give this place a whirl.
The pedicure was so-​so. My polish literally chipped the next day. The water was SCALDING HOT. No bueno.
She also did my nails. She wasn’t very good. She made them WAY too thick. Not only that, but she left all the gunk underneath them. It looked horrible.
And watch their pricing. What it says on the board, and what they charge you are two different things. I asked them about it, and suddenly the girl didn’t speak very good English. I had already been there 2 ½ hrs and just wanted to go.
They look nice on the outside and inside, but their prices are sketchy and their services are bad.

Nice and clean and friendly, but the nail tech, though sweet, was not very good. She zapped me a few times with the dremmel tool, and I had a lot of excess gloop on my hands after the fill-​in. Her shaping and polishing were not so great. I’m only in town for a visit, but if I were at home, I’d have immediately gotten out my remover and re-​done the whole polish job. I did ask her to fix the worst one, which was bubbling up, and she re-​painted, but it still looks not so hot. The owner/​manager was standing over her part of the time, but never stepped in to fix her work. Bummer. Otherwise seemed like a decent place.

Clean. Nice polish selection. No up charge for OPI’s Infinite Shine. I have only visited once, but my nail tech did a very nice job with great attention to detail. Prices are standard for Milwaukee. $ 15 for a regular mani.
ETA (9÷09÷15) I’ve been back at least twice. On my last visit I met the infamous Gloria. She is off the chain: funny, efficient & friendly. Great pedicure. I’ve also had the combo mani/​pedi by a younger man – who did an AWESOME job! I’ve noticed that the service time is longer than other nail salons I’ve visited; however, make sure you visit on a Monday or Tuesday for 15% off – a great deal.

We got a seat right away and had Gloria helping us she was very funny and welcoming. Will be going back to see her again she did a great job on both of our eyebrows a long with tips on how to pencil them in

Stopped in here while visiting my mom. I chipped my nail helping her with some stuff around the house and came in here in to fix it. Mind you my nails where done at home in Denver so I just assumed I would have to redo my shellac but the nail tech helped me find the nearest shade (which matched 99.999% mind you) and she took care of the issue and it looks fabulous. WHEW. The service was awesome and I totally recommend it!
