Used to be a great little place when it first opened many years ago. It was originally a smaller, quaint restaurant, located across the street from where they are located now. However, within the most recent years, quality of food and service had declined. Plenty of public parking adjacent to the building and located in central downtown Glendale. I see that they are temporary closed and hopefully when they reopen the quality of food and service will be better.

I feel silly writing a review for a place that is temporarily closed, but maybe while they fix the building they can fix their service issues. I was sent here to pickup a lunch order for my department at 12:00. I show up at 11:55 and check in. The host tells me that the food isn’t quite ready, but it should be out soon. So I sit down and wait… Then wait some more… Now it is 12:10 and I am getting text messages from work asking where the food is. I speak to the host and he says it will be right out. 12:15 rolls around and more text messages come in. The food at this point is 15 minutes late not to mention I still have to walk back. By 12:25 the food finally comes out. 25 minutes late! This not only makes them look bad, but it makes me look bad too. No apologies from them, no reasons why it was so late, just handed me the bag and I left. Now I could excuse this if the food here was expertly prepared and was a unique dining experience. It is not. It is very Americanized Chinese food. it is decent and fills you up, but is not a gourmet restaurant by any stretch of the imagination. While they are closed down for the next year or so they should figure out how to get the service and kitchen in sync. 18⁄100

It’s sad they are closed for remodeling and can’t wait for the opening. Fried noodles and wonton soup are delicious.

I came here twice but the last time I was here really stuck to me. I was going to beauty school up the street and it was lunch time. My teacher usually gave us 45 minutes because she knew it was a walk to get there and order, so my friend and I went in, sat down and placed our orders. Orange chicken lunch plate that could not be substituted with half Orange chicken and half Kung pow, which I don’t understand what the big deal is, if you need to me pay more just tell me, don’t just say«no we don’t do adjustments to the menu» ok, rude guy. The food took 45 minutes to Get out of the kitchen and it was cold!!! I was late to go back to school, got in trouble with my teacher and are it cold expensive meal So disappointing and degrading.

Love coming here for Chinese food. It may not be authentic, traditional Chinese food, but the food here is really good and the portions are good as well. We always get the honey glazed walnut shrimp, aromatic chicken, and egg drop soup with rice and hot tea. The items are so delicious. Service is usually good here. I have been coming here for years and the waiters/servers are polite and work efficiently. I love how they bring you white chocolate dipped fortune cookies at the end of your meal and the waiters box your food quickly and precisely in front of you. The atmosphere is nice and spacious. Good for both a family meal or a date. Parking is never an issue as there are plenty of 90 min free parking lots in Glendale.

My first time here was with friends a few months ago. A friend recommended it and it was very good! We were in a hurry to get back to our event and our server took that into consideration which was great! I ordered the won tons and had a side of brown rice. It was so good. And served hot! No complaints from anyone in our group. Thanks!

Haven’t been here for awhile and had a get-together with 15+ co-workers. Our server/wait person had an excellent demeanor and was extremely patient and accommodating. Food was very good and came out very quickly. Parking is now a paid lot next door…75-cents/hour. Thanks Panda for an enjoyable evening.

Excellent Food, Even Better Service! Happy Hour 4−7pm on weekdays, you can get 2 side dishes and a beer for less than $ 12. Staff is incredibly nice, makes you feel really welcome and want to return with no hesitation. I highly recommend this place for dinner with family or grabbing a beer after work.

The manager was very rude! As my husband and I, were sitting at the bar, ordering take out and drinks(while waiting for our take out) the manager yelled at the bartender(taking our orders) to make 3 drinks and then proceeded to do 6 or 7 things at the same time. Because of this, the bartender, completely forgot my drink and so my husband and I had to share one drink while waiting for our food. Then they had the audacity, to charge us for the drink that they never made for us. And when we told the manager to take the charge for that drink, that I never got. He asked” so, you don’t want this anymore?” Hello! It was never made, because he ordered his bartender around. Hopefully the food will be better than the service that we received.

The service here sucks, our duck came out when we were done with our meal, order our drinks and couple of years later they decided to come. The food was okay.

Ordered lunch for my office. Called at 11:30 am placed the order. The girl was nice and said it would be about 45 min. After an hour I called, I was told it was still being cooked, I asked why as I had ordered at this point over an hour before and she said«Okay, okay, okay… Wanna talk to the manager?» and put me on hold again. The manager seemed stressed and annoyed to even be talking to me. He said my food was with the delivery guy and should be there soon. I told him the girl I had just spoken with said my food was still being cooked. He then put me on hold again and when he came back said it was indeed still being cooked. I explained I had 6 people in a conference room waiting for lunch. He was very rude and said«Well do you want to cancel your order? What do you want me to do» I said he should be mad at his staff not me and he said«I am mad at them» Still almost yelling at me. He then said hurriedly«Look your food is being cooked, It will be there when Its done» It arrived and hour and a half after I ordered it and was barely warm. My office is two blocks from this restaurant. It would have been nice to at least have a hot lunch after all that.

You can never go wrong with Panda Inn. Delicious Chinese food, if not the BEST here in the area. You got to try their Chinese Chicken salad. Its delicious. For entrée– try the Panda beef and the chicken pan fried noodles. To finish, they will serve you white chocolate dipped fortune cookies. Delicious! They now have a Sunday brunch buffet which I will try very soon.

What’s the difference between Panda Inn and Panda Express? Lots! Though some of the food tastes fairly similar, just better! Fortunately I live in Glendale so Panda Inn is a possibility for me whenver I should so desire. Too bad I only learned of it recently! Although I had passed by Panda Inn more times than I could count, I never even considered eating here, but now that I have, I’ll certainly be back! Their food is certainly American Chinese as I’ve been to several parts of Asia and the food there is amazing compared to what we ‘reproduce’ over here with our thick and sugary sauces. However, if this is what I’ve got to work with, I’ll take it! I came with a friend and we family styled a couple of entrees as well as the Mu Shu Wraps which are so NOT Chinese, but amazing none the less. Who ever imagined you could have Chinese Burritos? We came not too long after opening so we were seated right away. Service was pretty good though I was catching up with a friend so I wasn’t really paying attention to how well the staff performed their job. I think my glass was filled at the halfway mark, and I didn’t remember them taking too long to bring out the food. Entrees were great. We shared the Phoenix Chicken and I believe the Panda Beef. I had brown rice, my buddy had fried. Portions were quite large and filling and everything was topped off by fortune cookies dipped in white chocolate. Parking if in the lot beside the restaurant is public so you have to pay. If you go down Maryland half a block, there’s a city structure that gives you 90 minutes free.

My nostalgia kicks in every time I come here. This has been a favorite of mine since I was little and nothing has really changed in all these years. The food is SO good. I would recommend their Mongolian beef and walnut honey shrimp is to die for. I love it because it’s not really a modern place where you can come with a big group of friends, but rather its a small restaurant I like coming to with family and just catching up over a nice meal.

Free parking on Sunday! Need I say more? No, I do need to say more about this place because it has been a Glendale landmark for quite some time. How much time? I don’t really know but what I do know will probably entice you to visit Panda Inn. Our group had a big table with a lazy susan or whatever they call that thing. We ordered platter after platter of Mongolian beef, kung pao chicken, chicken fried rice, noodles, orange chicken, and a giant platter of shrimp in an amazing spicy sauce that I fell in love with. It would be a good idea to ask how big the platters are before you blaze away with your order. These things are big! The waiters were great. Knowing that we had limited space on our lazy susan, they took away the platters that were near finished and put them on smaller plates so we wouldn’t run out of space. Best part was when we tallied up the bill, they split it for each couple and included the tip in there so all we had to do is just pay up and be done with it! Panda made dinner with our friends a very easy and tasty afternoon.

The food here delicious and on par with what you’d get an an old school Chinese Restaurant where no one speaks a lick of English. Everything from the eggplant tofu to crispy fish to honey walnut shrimp: it’s all delicious. And they don’t scrimp on the portions here: you’ll have leftovers, even if you come here for the lunch specials. If you can finish the lunch specials, you’re a fattie! I’m going to have to agree that this location needs an update of some sort. The vibe of it looks like it’s still stuck in the 80s, which sometimes results in it looking like it’s not opened for the busy lunch hour until you step inside.

MSG with a side of flat rice noodles. I’m pretty disappointed, this place used to be great a few years back. Every dish we ordered tasted like it was just drenched in a bucket of salt. We ordered the Calamari to start, and then split the Chow fun noodles and Garlic Chicken. All three items were so salty, and bland. Pretty bummed out.
