Really wish there was a Lemonade in Norcal! I came here on a burning hot day and got the blood orange lemonade, this saved my life! All the food looked really good too, but I didn’t get a chance to try any except a little of the truffle mac and cheese, it was so goodd!

Lemonade is the BOMB. I swear every time I go in I have a great experience! It’s the good type of customer service, not like the«please kill me» type faces you see at Starbucks. Yeah, yeah it’s a bit pricey but if you don’t go crazy it can be super affordable. Yeah it’s hard to not buy everything but PORTION yourself. My go to is the El Tijuana with a BLT Panzella Salad. Super yummy and feels very light. If you want to save money just drink water! My total with the sandwich ends up to be $ 10 flat! Service with a smile deserves a tip so make sure you toss one in the tip jar :)

Okay, so I have a confession: I have been avoiding Lemonade. Why you ask? Because I’m a fan of Urban Plates in Playa and people keep describing Urban Plates as, «better than Lemonade» so I figured there wasn’t much of a reason to try Lemonade, right? WRONG. Their blood orange lemonade is by far one of the best drinks I have ever had IN(pause) MY(pause) LIFE. Also, the Cavatelli Pasta & Grilled Vegetable side is ridiculously good and so is their Pineapple Chicken. Pro-tip: Don’t be shy and ask for samples.

So thrilled they brought this over to the Americana. Great items to choose from and never fails to satisfy. The service is good, the food is tasty, and dessert is delicious!

Lots of salads with a smattering of sandwiches and soups. I had Chinese long bean with plums(good); tomato avocado salad(good), roasted broccoli w/ricotta cheese(not good) and potato salad with smoked salmon and dill(awesome). Not a hit with the teens. Teens got macaroni & cheese and creamy mashed potatoes. They www both fantastic. Lots of lemonade and tea choices. That was great. Probably would not go back.

It’s crazy to see how much Americana has grown over the last few years and as a frequent go-er it’s pretty cool to see a Lemonade here! I know people often complain about the price(and as a broke college student, I do too especially since at USC we don’t have to pay the tax portion) but I do think it’s worth it for the quality and the healthiness! I’ve tried a lot of different items but my go to ones to get are either the pineapple chicken with string beans(has a subtle spicy kick to it) and the radish watermelon with ahi. The menu does change over time and depending on the season so a newer item I also tried was this melon salad. Everything is super tasty and refreshing especially now that it’s been quite warm outside.

I think I have a love hate relationship with this place. Im not from LA and always saw lemonade on Instagram so of course when I was here I had to try it. The outside is absolutely adorable, no lie, as well as the inside. However the food is a little unique. I think I was stupid and should have tried it before I just ordered whatever looked good. I got the tomato pasta, truffle Mac n cheese & the curry cauliflower, also the guava limeade. The tomato pasta was amazing, but the truffle Mac n cheese & the curry cauliflower kind of made me want to throw up, which is my fault because I think I just didn’t really like the flavors. The truffle was just SO overpowering and I really really didn’t like the seasoning on the cauliflower. However, the lemonade was amazing. My friend got the carrot lemonade and hers was amazing too. So food was good and tasted super fresh but ASKFORSAMPLES!!! They have very healthy unique food.

I don’t know if it was just a busy morning the day I came or what, but I rolled in around 2pm, there were about 5 customers in line before me and a handful sitting down eating already and they were out of 3 flavors of lemonade, which is kind of disappointing. I’ve been to the Manhattan beach location and one in Pasadena and tried the cold plate foods which I didn’t really like, partially because a lot of options at the time had cilantro, which I hate. Also, my friend got fried chicken and it’s apparently served cold which is a weird concept. But I finally ordered a sandwich and I loved it. I got the tomato mozzarella and a guava limeade(my go to) and it was perfectly filling and delish!

I need to update my review after the owner of lemonade did something about it & gave me a 15 $ gift card to try it out again & he sincerely apologized. I walk in and the same people are there, they greet me when I walk in, everyone is so polite this time. I’m a huge fan of lemonade so I’m actually very happy the issue was seen, it goes to show they care about there customers. Thanks Alan & thanks lemonade team. Maybe I just caught them when they were having a bad day! & oh the deco in the location is adorable.

Absolutely horrible. I spent $ 25 on Postmates ordering from here and was so unhappy with my food. The only good thing out of all of it was my lemonade. My salmon was ice cold. Like it came out of a fridge. My mashed potatoes were so creamy, it tasted like butter and milk. There was no garlic, salt, etc. The mac and cheese had no flavor and a huge clump the size of three quarters of just unmelted cheese. The rice was completely dry, you could hear it when you poured it onto your place. Terrible cafeteria food. Never again man.

This is the second location I tried Lemonade — the other was in Toluca Lake — I definitely like the set up of this location better. Lots of seating and easy to access cafeteria style line. Unfortunately, I don’t think there’s much to write home about here. Everything looks fresh and tasty, but the flavors across the board are extremely bland. Mac n cheese was very watery, no richness to it. I tried a bite of the steak and it was dry and extremely burnt! It was served cold, and she said we couldn’t have it warmed up… very odd to me. I tried a dessert here, it was tasty but extremely expensive. I can’t justify spending $ 6.50 on a chocolate bar. We ended up spending nearly $ 35.00 for two people… but the quality of food is just isn’t meeting my expectations.

Can’t believe it, but it was my first time at a Lemonade restaurant chain. My cousin and I decided to come to Lemonade since Glendale Americana offered mostly fattening food or a wait-service. Associate: «Hi, welcome to Lemonade. Is this your first time with us?» My cousin: «No, I actually know what I want.» She giggles. Me: «It’s actually my first time.» *** Assocaite explains the process of ordering*** Me: «Oh, okay. Is there anything you would recommend?» *** Associate points out any vegetarian, vegan, or spicy dishes. Each portion includes two scoops of your choice. She also explains we could add any soup or protein to our dish with additional charges. *** Since I was unsure of what to get, the team member offered me samples. I’m so glad this is part of their service. Everything looked so appetizing that I couldn’t decide on what to grab. Ultimately, I picked the Coleslaw Chicken dish, Orecchiette dish, and spicy Kale dish. All dishes were amazing, along with a small serving of Truffle Mac N Cheese on the side. I totally forgot the other name of another dish I picked, but I would definitely come back for the Coleslaw Chicken and Truffle Mac N Cheese. Let’s not forget their dessert choices — I will definitely be back for them.

Love the lemonade… It’s a must stop when I drive towards low Angeles area. Great choices of flavor, very refreshing, and perfect for the hotter days.

After years of hearing friends talk about their«over priced but tasty» dining experience at Lemonade, I decided to give it a go as I randomly scoped it out yesterday. I was already geeking it out at my favorite comic book shop in the area, trying to coordinate dinner plans with a friend, and was feeling adventurous, so I figured«I am already splurging, might as well.» My friend was running late so I had time to look around and take in all the food options. From the Market Place, to the sandwich display, to the hot sides at the end of the line– everything looked delicious! I asked some employees what their opinions on the Mac and Cheeses were, since I had seen many Unilocal tips and reviews praising it. I was allowed to sample both options(the regular and Truffle) and I have to go with the latter. The Truffle Mac just stands out more than it’s standard variation. But the sandwiches were really, really catching my eye, The Turkey BLT to be exact. It’s crispy bacon, the avocado, the cheese, the thinly sliced turkey– it was calling to me… «Andrew…Andrew, eat me!». My friend arrived and it was time to make up my mind. So, after much mental delegation with my indecisive self, it was time for some turkey goodness. «We are out of the Turkey, but we have many other delicious sandwiches you can order.» I was told by the staff member behind the«hot market veggies» section. My heart sunk a little, I cried on the inside, and then I moved on. «How about the Chicken Chili vs. the Mashed Potatoes?» I asked for the girl’s opinion again. I had already made up my mind about the Truffle Mac the moment the Turkey BLT fell through, but my second choice was still up in the air. «The Chicken Chili, definitely!» the girl said with a lot of conviction. I have never been keen on meat based chili(it’s usually too watery for my taste and Vegan versions seem to excel in consistency) but she seemed so adamant on this being the superior option, so I decided to put my faith in her. This is one of those rare times were being spontaneous at a new eatery actually paid off. The Truffle Mac was good, not great, but good enough(it was missing that last kick, maybe a dash more salt). That chicken chili though… Jesus Christ, it was out of this world! To describe it a nutshell-chunky, meaty, and flavorful! This is the best chili I have ever had with the exception of the one at Tommy’s Burger’s, and that’s a staple in the chili world so it’s unfair for me to compare. My friend got an array of veggies which were colorful, looked fresh, and made me want to order something from the«Marketplace»(their salad bar) section next time. The Chicken Chili made my meal, no doubt, and my friend seemed pleased with his healthy dinner plate too. All in all, I give Lemonade four stars for variety, amiable employees, and some of the finer chili out there. I will certainly be back to try that Turkey BLT!

Food is immediate, it’s a healthier option, and select options taste amazing. If you’re in the Americana for a quick stop, or for a short pre-movie dinner, Lemonade definitely fits the qualifications. And they have a comfy interior — booths and chairs alike, and the employees were welcoming and in a sample-giving manner. Cold dishes in the marketplace @ 2 portions for $ 5.50 is sufficient enough for cold dishes to keep you full. I had the orecchiette pasta with perline mozzarella and cherry tomatoes which was alright and the smoked salmon w/avocado and watercress which was fantastic. Tasted a sample of the Red Miso Short Rib, the Moroccan Chicken, and the BBQ Brisket, and for me the close winner was the BBQ Brisket. Add in their chicken chili, which was delicious and some mashed potatoes and it’s an incredibly fulfilling meal. Oh, and with a blood orange lemonade. I think I’ll visit again, there’s nothing not to like here.

There’s usually 3 to 4 vegan options here, which are always the first options all the way to the left you see in the cafeteria line(this goes for every location). None of the pastries are vegan(some are gluten free). Parking isn’t ideal at this location. You have to either park across the street at the park or a the parking structure for the Americana. It’s a nice convenient place if you’re already shopping here. Other than that, the area is just inconvenient if you want to just get in, eat and leave. They validate parking btw.

Wow! What a lot of healthy options. I went there hangry and so I got a 4 portion and a 3 portion to go and the Mac n cheese and the red miso beef short rib… and a raspberry tart and pistachio macaroon… and a blood orange lemonade to wash it all down. Don’t judge me, I was hangry. Spent a small fortune but the journey was quite satisfying. They let you sample anything. Many different lemonades. I chose blood orange cause it had the lowest level. Made me think that it was popular. This place is like wholefoods had a baby with a restaurant and this is it.

The food here wasn’t really appealing to my taste buds. It was my first time here and so I asked to sample a couple of items and it seems like the more samples I asked for the more the employees would get annoyed. I mean isn’t it their duty to give new customers samples? They kind of act like it’s costing them money for the sample. Staff should be a little More generous.

This location is smaller than the Pasadena one but the taste is just the same! I love the cafeteria-style restaurant because it’s simple and to-the-point. You pick what you want, pay, and go sit down to eat. You bust your own tray and there are no frills. My Favs: Herb Roasted Chicken Sandwich Shave Brussels Sprouts Salad Blood Orange Lemonade Other Items I’ve tried: Turkey BLT: didn’t really like it. Strange because I really LOVE bacon Mac and cheese: meh. nothing amazing. Vegetarian chili: this is really good actually! but quiet pricey for the amount I got so probably not worth to get it again.

This was my first time coming to this Lemonade location after going to the Pasadena one several times, and the overall experience remains relatively the same. I typically get their marketplace portions for lunch(4 choice combo is the best). With the four choices, I feel like you can adequately sample a good variety of their food for a good price. Depending on how hungry you are, the four choices are enough to share between two people and will leave your stomach feeling happy. This location is much smaller then the Pasadena one and almost provides a much more cozier setting. I tried the meat sides at the Pasadena one before and found them a little bit too salty, so I dont know how it might taste over here. My personal favorites are the brocoli, soba noodles, edamame, and kale. Overall the taste was good, and I would probably come back here again for a light lunch!

So I find it crazy and a wee bit disturbing that while we may pay $ 35 – 40 for dinner here, we have to walk to the concierge desk and show a receipt to get our parking validation. That aside, Lemonade makes about 15 salads, and I’ve tried all of them that have no meat or sugar or flour. Good food. It is pretty looking, portions are big, flor is fresh, but nothing edgy flavor-wise at all. I’d love it all the way if they popped in a few brighter, spicier flavors. Would like it if they added some more non-meat proteins. Love the snow pea-edamame salad! Veggie chile is good but would be great if they added some veggie-meat and kicked up the hot!

Good location good spot! Pricey-Yes some items! I really like their portions they have so many amazing option. My favorite was the butternut squash with corn and their curry chicken. The curry chicken was $ 5.95 definitely pricey but really good. I also got the buttermilk chicken sandwich minus the green tomato. Probably wouldn’t order this again. Had a few samples of the lemonades not bad and their pistachio chocolate chip cookie was good as well. The only con is that their food is cold all their sides on the hot warmer were not hot. Wish their food was hot as the mac and cheese was luke warm it would have been nice if they was heated better. All in all a good experience I would come back for their portions only.

I do really like lemonade and the variety in choices they have. There’s so many sides, mains, and desserts at this place! I love their mac&cheese here. The truffle mac&cheese can be a little too overpowering for me, but still I really like it! For sandwiches, I like the caprese sandwich cause I generally don’t eat too much meat. The turkey BLT is also a great option in my opinion. As a side, I love the avocado roe and their giant macaroons!

Nice addition to the area, Lemonade seems to be popping up all over! What is consistent is great service, the employees here were very friendly and helpful, even offering samples of the lemonade. We came here just for drinks while shopping in the area and got three different lemonades to go. Prices are fair, quality is good, I tried the sugar free version and just did not like it, Lemonade really has to have sugar, that was a bit hard to get down, my favorite would be the original. Not a huge fan of the food here, but the Lemonade and he great service are worth a visit. Very clean, bright and modern space with plenty of seating.

I’m consistently blown away by Lemonade. The concept, the design, the service, and most importantly, the food. Where else can you get a scrumptious small salad made of interesting and organic ingredients and a cup of miso braised short ribs or bowl of truffle mac and cheese? Awesome sandwiches and stacks of poke and crab stuffed avocado halves?! Nowhere, I tell you! Sure, it’s a bit pricey. But if you know how to work it(choose the sides with the most protein, ones with quinoa or chicken, just get water, sandwiches are kind of overpriced) then you can probably each lunch for under $ 9. This location has a great staff — our salad server was hilarious and made us feel very welcome with samples and the greeter was enthusiastic and fun to chat with about how the whole thing works. Very clean and modern inside, with plenty of seating. I’m not a huge fan of the Americana, but I think I’ll find myself there more often just because of Lemonade!
