Oh sweet baby Jayzus. I stopped in here on a whim because I love me some dessert, and I was blown away. I felt like I was cheating on my friend who I always go dining with. The selection of flavors is extensive, and you can try just about any of them. I do recommend their peach tea, as well as all of the fruit flavors. I mean, all of it is phenomenal so you don’t have to worry. If you’re a glutton like me, be sure to get 2 or 3 flavors delicately arranged in a big fancy glass with lots of toppings. They’re all worth it! The staff was extremely helpful and really nice. They laughed at my stupid jokes. Also, if I recall, there is a Belly card check-in here.

All their flavors are delicious, which makes it really hard to choose. My favorite is the bacio, it has actual hazelnuts in it. The chocolate malt is also really good and the chai latte. It seems like a couple of their flavors change from day to day. The only thing I’m conflicted on is the waffle cone. I needs to be slightly thicker because it falls apart within a few minutes cuz it’s so thin and has a couple holes. But I think that’s what also makes it so delicious, is that it’s thin and freshly made. I guess the only solution for that is to eat it quickly or bring a lot of napkins. I mean a lot cuz I was pretty much covered in ice cream while my husband was just laughing at me.

Amo La Coppa Gelato Café!(I love La Coppa!) Gelato come I Caruso Gelato nella Roma! Mi dispiace, I’m sorry! I should write in English, it’s just that this gelateria took me back to Rome! Rome, btw if you haven’t been yet, you must add it to your Bucket List! Okay, I know you might be thinking, maybe she just has a sweet-tooth, or maybe she just r-e-a-l-l-y likes gelato. I admit it, I do. That being said, if you have not been to La Coppa, get over there, and I mean soon! The weather should be nice this weekend, so venture out and make the trip! I love coconut & dark chocolate, but Bacio is delicious as well, especially if you love hazelnut, they have a variety of flavors, and they offer tastes, I must have had 5 samples before I made my decision. I highly suggest getting yourself a double scoop, yes get a double, 1 scoop of this heavenly dessert is just not enough. Also I suggest you get your dessert in a waffle cone, they are made right there & full of crispy yumminess! The owner was there the first time we went, we spoke a little Italian with him, so it’s legit gelato. In a city where a custard stand is on just about every corner, La Coppa Gelato offers a nice change and a taste that will transport you to Italy at far less cost than a plane ticket. ;) Ciao! Vediamo a La Coppa!

I always find a new flavor to love at La Coppa. How can I resist the tiny spoons of samples to help me narrow down the laundry list of flavors I want to cram in one tiny cup? My favorites of the moment are grapefruit and peanut butter cup. Yes, I know. Those are two extremes, but sometimes you are just in the mood for refreshment while other times, for indulgence. Every time I stop in or walk by, I dream of the day that I will eat(and likely share) the plate of gelato shaped spaghetti and meatballs, Lady and the Tramp style, on the sidewalk. Messy, but a bucket list item. La Coppa is a perfect stop whilst walking around the Bayshore Town Center. The staff is friendly and helpful and is really great at helping you to narrow down your«want» list. Fun Fact: 21+? La Coppa even offers gelato treats with a boozy kick. Check out the selection on the bar in the back!

Elevated mehness levels here. Disappointing range of flavors. Synthetic pistacchio taste(always a good test for authentic flavor). Gelato was not conditioned well — far too cold and solid. MAYBE if they got that right, the product would taste better. But to my palate, the experience is more like getting Baskin Robbins in a mall than discovering a treasured gelateria in a small town in the Basilicata. Kids might like it, but if you are a gelato adult, probably not. When I was a child, I ate ice-cream as a child, etc. So instead, to recover quickly from the disappointment, you could motor over to Cold Spoons in Washington Heights or head east to Whitepeoplekesha and get something in Divino Gelato. Both are more than competent — not Giolitti’s on the Via del Ufficio Vicario or Cadore in Buenos Aires, but for Wisconsin, I’m not complaining. If you care what gelato should really taste and feel like, and are willing to drive, there really are two much better options. È vero.

Why anyone would have ice cream anywhere else other than La Coppa at Bayshore is unbelievable. The selections and quality are excellent. Great coffee on the side and a spaghetti ice puts me in heaven

How am I 34 years old and I’ve never had gelato? Well that certainly changed when I stopped by La Coppa Gelato to pick up some Summerfest winnings from the awesome Milwaukee Unilocal team! The girl working there simply could NOT have been more friendly. Since I’ve never had gelato before, I didn’t know what I was in for, but she fed me sample after sample of different flavors that I’ve never even considered before, and all of them were just great. It was so hard to make a decision of what I actually wanted to try! I opted for some strawberry cheesecake gelato, with a scoop of mint chocolate chip on top, and it was just… delicious. If I’m ever back at Bayshore(i’m a guy, I hate malls) I will definitely be going back for more.

What a lovely little respite in the maze of commerce that is Bayshore! Gelato. Crazy specialty items galore, like gelato cakes and cupcakes and caramel apples with gelato. Much flavor. Very wow. Many choices. I had the pleasure of trying a sorbet sparkler and it was just delightful! San Pellegrino sparkling water and equal parts raspberry and lemon sorbet, all mixed up together. No dairy, no gluten, low-fat, less sugar than ice cream, plus fizzy H20 and tons of flavor. Yeah buddy! Prices seem reasonable, too. A great spot to bop into on a hot summer day whilst perusing all the wares Bayshore has to offer! Gelato!

Tried six flavors. Grapefruit, apple, mango, pistachio, sea salt caramel, and strawberry marscapone. All great! I didn’t like the tiny plastic spoons that didn’t hold much and broke easily. It also appears that most of their stuff contains nuts. Poor people allergic! Grapefruit was the best out of the six for sure.

For the amount I think it is a great gelato. Very good dark chocolate and vanilla as well. I’ll be coming back again!

I ventured in around lunchtime for a shopping break. They were empty, and the lady behind the counter was very helpful. She let me sample four or five gelatos and offered a number of suggestions. They had probably 20 different selections to choose from. I could see all the pictures around with sundae looking things, but I just wanted a couple scoops. I had a pink grapefruit and nutella-y flavor combination. Don’t hate, it totally worked. They have cute little neon octagonal cups with the requisite adorable spoons. Everything I tasted was yummy and I’d eat their treats again for sure. Prices weren’t terrible compared to some froyo places.

I’m only withholding a 5 star rating from them due to their lack of ingredients and lack of a complete menu where you order(I like the menu in pictures on the multiple TVs). Previous to entering the store, I went online to view the selections. I knew what I wanted: «Coppa Mozart.» The names are fun, but I was sad to have to choose another selection due to them not having the ingredients to make it. This happened again, and then after the third try, they had ingredients for my dish(the scoops fell over, so no picture, but worth the wait). It was difficult to order any of the specialties. They were listed as window graphics on the exterior of the store — I read backwards to order my Coppa Hot Hazelnut — just like the picture. The selection of gelato by the scoop AND the special creations will definitely bring me in again.

The Staff is really very nice and the Gelato is Rich, Creamy and very flavorful. The Coffee Float is my favorite. Especially during a loooooooooooonnnnnnnnggggg day of Back to School shopping!(Even Teachers need new clothes!) The Counters are high, but Diane was nice enough to come around the counter to take my order.

This little gelato café had a wide selection. The shop was clean and modern. I ordered the Spaghetti Pomodoro and the snowman. The spaghetti ice was very similar to the photos in the store and online, but sadly the snowman was not. I didn’t think the gelato was a good as other places I have been to, it seemed a little on the lumpy/icy side. I lived in Europe most of my life so I think i’m a pretty good judge of gelato. Not as smooth and flavorful as I have had elsewhere(in the US). I have to agree with the other reviewers on the service too. There was just something missing, the servers did not seem at all happy. There weren’t angry or rude, but not the most friendly either. Maybe I expect too much, but at places like Ice cream shops, and candy stores I expect the servers to be extra friendly, happy and pleased to be working there.

Stopped by here for a mid shopping snack because I had a groupon. The groupon was of the«sampling» type so I was under the impression we’d get a few small bites and be on our way. Wrong. With that particular groupon, you get a hugeee bowl of gelato as well as a lovely cup of coffee. The staff was extremely helpful and the gelato was tasty as well. I’ll be back!

This is the second time I’ve been to La Coppa. Both times we had Groupons, which made the trips a great deal. There is a good selection of flavors, with a lot of fresh fruit to more decadent flavors. There is also a coffee bar menu. For this trip, we each had three scoops. Dark Chocolate, Mozart, Bacio Bianco, and the Italiana as well as the Latte. I can’t remember the third scoop my other half had. I had a mandarin Italian Soda and he had a cappucino. They were okay, nothing super spectacular. There was a fairly diverse menu of flavors for the italian soda(lavender?). The girl behind the counter was very nice, but she didn’t seem like she wanted to be at work(crummy weather, 8:15pm, and constant stream of people). All was well for a date night, but then I found a hair in my gelato. YUCK. That is the worst. It wasn’t just a little piece of hair. It was about 5″ long, so when I poked around to make sure my eyes were not deceiving me, it was wound up inside all of my gelato. The girl behind the counter replaced it immediately with new gelato, but it was still gross. Overall, not a super great ambiance. It is a great place to have a quick little date, but the hair thing was a huge turnoff.

I ducked into this small gelato café with a friend after dinner. I had a Groupon which included coffee/tea for two, plus«gelato tasing». I wasn’t sure what that included, but it turned out to be 3 scoops of gelato plus our drinks(quite a deal, to be sure). The service behind the counter was fantastic. She was patient as we tried flavors, explained the Groupon to us, etc. The owner & his family was there as well, and they were chatting with patrons that they’d never met before, giving them more samples than they could ask for, etc. The gelato itself was fantastic. The dark chocolate & the the latte macchiato were my favorites, but we also tried the sea salt caramel, egg nog, tiramisu & choclate. All in all, quite a refreshing experience! :)

I have been here only once and tried only a couple flavors, ordering one. The taste was delightful! Even better was how friendly and pleasant the staff were. Ambiance was meh, but it is not really a place to stick around.

Strange the reviewer before had a bad experience. I loved the gelato! It was the best gelato I have had in the US. I have eaten Italian gelato in Spain and France and this comes close, if not there. The employees were very friendly. I could tell we were being served by the owners. I agree that the amount you get for the price isn’t a good deal but it is the same as what you would get in Europe. I’ve tried Paciugo and it is horrible, tasting like regular ice cream. This blows others out of the water. No question is this place excellent. Strange that its at Bayshore Mall…
