I am super thrilled that I let Christina color and cut my hair. She has given me a whole new look which I’m in love with. After so many (8+) sessions of bleaching my own hair I came to her with almost impossible hair to manage but Christina took really good care of my hair and it looks shiney and healthy. One of my biggest things is the shampoo part and she has given me the best shampoo by far! Oh and the color she used had no odor which to me was a plus as well because i hate how strong hair dye smells. She uses great products because hair CARE is very important to her. My hair looks and feels amazing. Thanks Christina!

There aren’t enough words in the world that can express the way I feel when Christina does my hair. With slick straight Asian hair, I’ve done perms several times. This time, I wanted the curls to be much tighter. She gave me the look that I asked for! THANK YOU! Love you!

Well, because Christina totally kicks ass, she has ventured out on her own. Well, sort of. :) With the blessings and wonderful support from the folks from Double O Salon, Christina has opened up her own studio in Glendale, really close to the Americana on Brand.
Koster Blue Studio is located in Social Salon Suites,” a state-​of-​the-​art salon suite facility located in Glendale”, consisting of other stylists and wellness providers. Social Salon is set up similar to the OC Mix, where local artisans have come together in opening up their own space in order to keep the cost of running a business down, BUT at the same time, providing the best services possible. It’s a wonderful concept, really. :)
Important to note: there is FREE parking in the garage down below! Woohoo! There’s almost nothing as awesome as free parking in LA. Am I RIGHT???
And since Christina has her own space, she now has the freedom to provide even more awesome services to the umpteenth degree! She is now able to endorse the products she feels would be awesome for your hair and scalp. I might add that the line she endorses is vegan, cruelty, and gluten free! (Yeah, you expected me go there!)
Plus, Christina has this big jar of chocolate goodness she freely provides. AND, pretty soon, she will serve glasses of wine. Oh-​la-​la!
But, most of all, Christina listens and wants her clients to look HOT! Truly, she cares about her clients’ well being. :)
Oh, and what is more, I LOVE Christina’s studio name: Koster Blue. It turns out that koster blue is a type of spruce, Colorado’s state tree. Christina has a special love for the forest, which is another reason to love this kick-​ass gal!
