There were two people ordering in front of me which took nearly 10 minutes. It took 5 minutes to order one sandwich and a drink, and I had to repeat the order 3 times. The business was not busy whatsoever and after 20 minutes and seeing two orders called that were after mine, I told them to give my order to the homeless and left. My wife and daughter had been there prior and the girl taking the order was resting her head on her hand leaning on the counter.

Fair service. Nothing super spectacular. Comfortable seats, but I couldn’t find a plug to charge my laptop, so I had to cut my visit short. Very weird hours… closes at 530. Wish it was open later. Coupons in email are appreciated, but I’d visit more if there was a frequent visit program… buy so many, get 1 free or something to reward me for coming back. I go to Starbucks more just because of their rewards program.

Wow, not impressed at all. Came to this location twice, no customer acknowledgement when you come in. The employees don’t posses any type of manners I.e. at least a good morning when taking your order. Too many mistakes behind the counter causing food to be thrown away, not acceptable. I’m a disable veteran who served this great country of ours for 21 ½ years, and to see this kind of things happen, makes me wonder in what direction are we leading our fire leaders. Very disappointed.

Very friendly staff and good bagels. I’m from NY and was worried that I’d never have a good bagel here(locals kept complaining to me bagels suck in AZ) however I found the bagels here just fine and tasty. The décor is a little fast-foody and I often find crumbs on the tables I sit at, so they can do more to keep the place cozier /more original and cleaner. Overall I like coming here.

This place has become a fave for my husband and myself. Joe C and this staff run a great place to be in the morning. They know us by name, recall our orders, and even take away our breakfast mess if they note we are still sitting and enjoying our coffee… We have met the NICEST people here. Whether they are retired folks from the nearby senior communities or regulars in for breakfast, we have become very close to some folks. That enables us to exchange info on services we need, good places to eat other meals at, and happenings in the west valley. Unlike a comment that states they are chintzy on cream cheese, I’d have to say the opposite. I’ve told my husband at times that when he orders mine, he can tell the folks behind the counter to go easy on the spread. Put it this way, tell them what you want and they are eager to please. Now that cooler weather is on the horizon, we can’t wait to bring our dog and see how he likes the place also…

Love the 6 cheese bagel and the nova lox bagel sandwich. The food is always tasty and fresh and reasonable.

Decent bagels but if like Cream cheese, you may want to ask for extra. I noticed they were light on the spread.

Very friendly and fast! The 6 cheese bagel doesn’t even need extra cream cheese. Coffee is great too.

I recently had the worst of many bad experiences at this location. After not having any of the bagels I wanted my sandwich on, which I enjoy about 4 or 5 different bagels, I had to settle on a garlic bagel. The cashier was pleasant while I paid, and he told me they had a big morning rush. I was there around 11 am. I went to find a place to sit and all of the tables were dirty and covered in crumbs along with the floor. I looked up and saw a group of 4 employees all conversing and laughing behind the counter while another was preparing food. The group broke up and a male and female began preparing food. I watch the male and female bump into each other playfully and the male would lay his head down on the female’s shoulder. They were very flirty and seemed to be in their own world. I continued to wait for my sandwich and noticed two people from behind me get their food. I looked down at my ticket and noticed I’d been waiting over 15 minutes. I went over to the counter and inquired about my order and«Romeo» told me, «Oh, they must have cleared your order.» No apologies, no concern. My sandwich was made and I returned to the dirty table and ate my sandwich. Still, no type od appology ir concern for the error. Meanwhile, the male and female went on break together and sat eating at a table they certainly cleaned for themselves and other tables remained dirty. Finally, as I was leaving, a lone employee finally started to wipe down the tables. The dirty store is a common theme in this particular shop. I say go across the street to Paradise Bakery, next time I will.

This gets one star because the food was edible. When we walked in it was like entering forest fire quarantine zone. There was actually visible fire coming out of one of the toasters(clearly remedied by a employee blowing it out… While a customers food was in there. Sanitary). When I went to pay the blonde girl and her male friend were flirting and made no eye contact and carried on our transaction amidst their personal love life anecdotes… They also forgot I ordered a coffee because they were just so entranced by their engaging conversation with each other. When I received my charred bagel I sent it back to get a toasted bagel instead… Around this time they realized you almost couldn’t see across the store from all the smoke so they went to open a door. One of the food handlers went outside and touched the floor mat and then at our reccomendation moved a rock to prop the door open to remedy the smoke. He then went inside and continued to handle food… Without getting new gloves. Yum.

Now that I can breathe… Look, I love bagels. I love breakfast. They delivered on this front, and earned that 1 star. I unfortunately also appreciate customer service and cleanliness. When you fail to deliver on that, I don’t care how good the food was. The guy taking orders(I’m assuming he was the manager based on age) was great. Always friendly when I’m in there. I got to the payment register and found myself in the middle of a flirting session between the cashier and another worker. Since I disturbed their chat, they were quick to jump back in. Had to butt in again to ask for my drinks — based on her reaction, I probably should’ve apologized for asking for what I paid for. My bad. Some time later, I noticed an extreme amount of smoke filling the restaurant. A dense haze filled the air and I had to step outside so I could breathe. I noticed a girl monitoring the toaster — I saw flames inside it and she BLEW into the toaster to put the fire out. Shortly after, a large plume of smoke came out of the toaster. Sweet, found the source(and a health code violation). A worker came out and propped the door open with a rock from the side of the curb to get rid of the smoke. He returned to work with the same gloves on that he had picked up the rock and doormat with. I’ll be heading elsewhere for bagels from now on out. Obviously little care is paid to experience and food safety here. Side note: my catering order earlier this week was 30 minutes late as well. It’s not like we’re making complex dishes here, so what gives?

I went back to give Einstein’s one last try and I am glad I did! They have a whole new staff and the manager was there. I took sometime to chat with him and I was pleased to see he is making great changes. I ordered the same I didn’t in my other review and it was still my favorite thintastic sandwich. The employees were full of smiles and happy to help.

I love the bagels here, especially when they’re hot and fresh, which they were last week when I busted the door down at 5:30am. I have to give these guys big props because I was in a rush that morning. I called the store 10 minutes before they opened just to see if they had the bagels I wanted ready to go. They did and the guy on the phone(sorry, forgot his name) took my order for a dozen bagels and an iced mocha on the phone BEFORETHEWEREOPENFORBUSINESS! TWOTHUMBSWAYUPFORTHAT!!! I got to the store a few minutes before 5:30. The doors were still locked. I saw a couple people inside, but I just kicked it in the car for a minute because I can tell time(I was early). When the guy unlocked the door, he held it open for me, asked if I was Mike, and said my order was ready. AWESOME!!! Super happy! Made my(early) morning. Thanks guys!!!

I come here every Sunday morning to grab breakfast and coffee for my family. I never have any issues. Staff is always friendly and food is always good! I always get my food and drinks in a timely manner and the manager is very friendly. I also think their coffee is way better then Starbucks too!

Went for breakfast, for a specific bagel. The order was the wrong bagel and sandwich. The sense of urgency and customer service was low. It’s a shame.

The bagels are good but this morning the service was horrible. I walked in and to my surprise there was only one person ahead of me in line. So I thought to myself, «great, this should be quick.» Well, I was wrong. I sat there for over 20 minutes for two bagels?! The employees seemed to be taking their sweet time and messing up orders.

What a letdown! The redhead behind the counter… SLOW! there was no sense of urgency from most of the employees. One guy was hustling. Everyone else.snoozing. The place was boiling hot and humid. Probably about 85 degrees. You want to make a line full of people angry, keep it hot. Our order got pushed behind a jerk customer’s order. Squeaky wheel and all. Really unfair. I was so impressed with this place before. They were completely ridiculous this visit. I will not be going back anytime soon. The food was delish, but it is not so good that I would put up with the lax service. Management MUST have changed.

I’m usually not a fan of Einstein Brothers, I’ve tried them all over & they all are just«meh.» Before taking my mom to the airport we decided to stop & have a bagel. The guys(literally, all guys) behind the counter were so friendly & didn’t get annoyed when it took us a minute to figure out what we wanted. As we were leaving one of the workers was sitting down on his break, saw us leaving & jumped up to open the door for us, that doesn’t happen many places anymore!

Yes, there is a «eat at your own risk» type warning for the smoked salmon. I unfortunately developed food poisoning after eating the honey-glazed smoked salmon sandwich last month. I was chained to the porcelain throne from 4 pm to 4 am and had to miss a day of work. It was pretty much a bagel with pieces of smoked salmon and chopped onion/tomato on top of a bagel. No cream cheese was put on it(which would probably help anchor down the ingredients), and the whole thing fell apart on first bite. The workers are friendly and the drinks are fine; but I’m never coming back here.

We were very excited to come to Einstein Bros, however when we got there we were a little disappointed. My mother ordered a bagel with humus, however they alerted us that they never took the humus out of the freezer that morning, so they did not have any humus available. I ordered a Italian chicken panini.(One of my favorites) and it was brought to me cold, and the chicken, cheese, and spinach was not spread apart throughout. When I went back up and asked them to fix it, the man was very kind and brought it to me hot. My mother re-ordered a toasted bagel with blueberry crème cheese on it, that was barely toasted. For an Einstein Bros, it was not great food. The staff was all male, and when there wasn’t some one at the register to help, they were messing around. One of the boys was completely covered head-to-toe in flour! Not a great trip to the Einstein Bros!
