I don’t go into the restaurant of a hotel expecting much as far as the food goes, but this was surprisingly awesome! The staff was very friendly and super helpful. The salmon dish was very good and so was the pasta dish I had the next night. I highly recommend checking it out if you are staying in the Embassy Suites. You don’t have to go far for a good meal.

Wow was the service so bad! It took over 20 minutes to get our food for a party of 12. The waiter came by and actually said, «sorry it is taking so long but it is a big order.» REALLY??? This while the restaurant only had two other parties. Then the waiter brought out all the food plates and set them next to our table. The waiter then went back to the kitchen to get the soup for those who ordered it. Next the waiter delivered the food for those who did not order soup and took back the food for those who ordered soup. What the @#$%! Then when the people who had soup where done, the waiter went back to the kitchen and get the food that we were looking at earlier. The best part was the automatic 25% added to the bill as a service fee. This was crazy when the service was so bad. I will not go back, ever!

I didn’t have time to eat breakfast yesterday so I ordered my lunch here. I had crab cakes and rice. It was delicious! The only lil complaint I have is the portion was pretty small and I had an appetite for good food lol.

I’ve stayed at this hotel(Embassy Suites) before a few times already and always had a good experience. Normally, for dinner I will go out(two decent places a block away) but tonight I figured I would eat in at the hotel restaurant. Bad choice. It wasn’t busy but service was slow. I ordered the ‘Surf & Turf’ and almost 45 minutes later, it finally came. I seriously was about to get up and leave, I just removed the cloth napkin off my lap and set it aside to do just that. I made a comment to the server that I was about to give up on the food and his response was«Would you like some more tea?». The steak was under seasoned but at least it was medium rare like I asked. The three shrimp were over cooked and not prepared very well(not peeled very well) and I only ate one of them. The baked potato was mediocre, ate half of that; the veggies were actually the best part of the meal and the only thing I finished. Overall, I got the impression my food sat for awhile before they remembered to bring it; it wasn’t hot but wasn’t cold either. I think this is the first time I’ve ever left steak and shrimp on the plate… not because I wasn’t hungry. Oh yeah, the iced tea was good, not weak. I guess that’s two good things… The server did come up and offer a complimentary dessert since my food«took so long». I declined… too little too late I guess, I was wanted to go back to the room at that point. Very disappointing and boring experience. Next time I’m here, definitely walking across the street to Shakers(been there twice and the food is good). Thumbs down for this«Bistro».

Great food. Quiet place. Never seen too many people dining there because of the free buffet the hotel provides to it’s guests, so if you want a quiet meal, this is the place to go. Service is a tad on the slower side, but I guess most diners there are on vacation. I love going there.

The menu was super limited. Lunch service took over an hour. Food was boring. Next!

I was totally unimpressed with this restaurant. It’s a shame because the hotel is so nice looking, you’d think the food and service would be top notch. Ample parking underground, but that’s about as good as it gets… really. I ordered the Philly cheesesteak sandwich. It lacked flavor and did not have all those grilled veggies in it that it said it would have. Fries were nice and crisp. My mom and brother got the chicken breast sandwich, small sandwich for a big price. Not worth it at all. The fruit was also tasteless and not ripe. I should also mention that my soda was totally flat, as we’re all the other sodas there. I found myself helping myself to their soda pub since the service was non existent. We were the only ones in the entire restaurant and no one to help us, except when it was time to pay of course. The waiter charged us almost $ 8 service charge, even after we told him we were not staying at the hotel. He seemed shocked that my mom pointed that out and when he went to give back the money, he either really didn’t know how to count or he tried to not give us the entire amount on purpose. Needless to say, this place is forgetful, and for a good reason.

Had dinner here with the family while staying at the hotel. I did not have high expectations considering it was a hotel restaurant. I was pleasantly surprised. My husband and I both had fish which was well prepared with excellent sauces. They were friendly and accommodating to my kids special requests.

Bistro 800 is fine location for a business lunch. I have eaten lunch there many times. The food is always good, the service is fast and attentive, and the surroundings are pleasant. For lunch, I recommend the Oriental chicken salad, the salmon or the fettuccine. All are very tasty. The dining area is very roomy. Business people can have a conversation without the diners at the next table hearing everything that is said.

The food here is okay but the service is terrible. I come often on business lunches, and the kitchen is slow and they will inevitably get someones order wrong. I ordered a salad and they brought me linguini with clams. Really?

Yea so, Embassy Suites! Yeah!!! I’ve been here twice, and the food is pretty good, but the staff on the other hand, one forgot my order and didn’t bring it out. They never come around, to check on you or to ask if everything is okay. No one was there and they didn’t check up on us. The tortilla soup is good, if they had a better staff i would have given it more stars!

This is in the wonderful Atrium of the Embassy Suites. Plenty of underground free parking if you are just coming to eat. I had dinner at the location while I was staying at the hotel, but have eaten at the restaurant at least 3 times in the past. I have found the prices very reasonable for Hotel prices. I have had the many sandwiches, several salads and the Chicken Tortilla soup. I have always enjoyed the food. The service was quick and the food hot. The french fries are very tasty! The restaurant also has a full bar. I am hoping they will continue to expand their menu as time goes on. Otherwise I have had no problems. The wait staff has always been great too!

Went here for an early lunch today. The food was ok, nothing spectacular, had the turkey wrap. The bread they brought out was good though. Service left much to be desired. Our server was not very professional and seemed out of it. First of all, when I asked what she recommended, she said if I am watching my weight, she recommended the scallop salad or a couple other salads. Excuse me! What a thing to say to a guest, especially a slender one! Then, another member of our party asked what is the soup du jour, and the server replied, «It’s the soup of the day» DUH! OMG that was unbelievable. Then she didn’t know what it was and had to go to the kitchen to ask. I think she is probably better suited for BOH instead of FOH service. Probably will not go back.

I find myself here a lot. In the last month, I have been here at least once a week. I tried something new… the tequila fettuccine. it was great. Had it for lunch and it was a bit heavy for lunch. The sauce had so much flavor in it and plate was huge! The Oriental Chicken Salad… excellent. You know when the dressing is not too much and not too little… just right! loved it! very light, perfect for lunch. Love the mandarins in the salad. The chicken was very healthy. next time, will ask for grilled chicken instead of the chicken strips in the salad. The Turkey Club… mmmmm. Had it for lunch today. Amazing! comes with a side of fries.. heaven! very delicious and fresh. The Philly Cheese Steak Sandwich… a lot of meat and the cheese was just right. Crispy bread. that’s all today, folks. I think this place is slowly becoming my favorite place to eat.
