I actually really like this 24 Hour Fitness location. It’s always less crowded than the Alameda location a few blocks away, and the parking garage is much less busy and maze-like. There is also a greater variety of cardio machines than other nearby locations. There is a parking garage adjacent to the gym which is also shared with an office building. Parking is free in the garage at night, but because of the office building, I don’t know what the situation is like during the day. Overall, this location is a GREAT alternative to Alameda if you don’t like competing for time on the machines or space in the group classes.

Mary Theis, trainer at this location, kicks butt! Definitely provides a great workout. Feel spent, but definitely challenged every time I see her. Great personal trainer. Getting very toned!

Typically empty due to the flagship location just two blocks away, but since that place is currently closed, this one is much busier, and getting hard to park. Blame that on the other location, not here, because when that reopens, this gym is a well-hidden secret(we’ll see if it stays that way!) Same equipment, very spread out, and I want to say there’s even more weights here. No pool or steam room is a slight negative. Please reopen Alameda and Colorado!

Keeping my rating the same as there were changes but only minor. –The cleanliness is only slightly better. –I had a great training session with Mary! –The Alameda & Colorado location is currently closed for construction so guess where everyone has flown to? Yup, right here. No personal space and you’re waiting for any type of cardio equipment. Very inconvenient(I’m sure much more inconvenient to those who attend the other location as well!) and should’ve been organized better. Still unsure when the Alameda location is opening again, why? –They’re changing their hours to 24 hours very soon, this is much more convenient and hey actually lives up to their company name, imagine that.

Been going since it was called Bally’s, and now that it’s 24 Hour fitness, there have been many improvements. Excellent location in Central Denver, plenty of free parking CAVEAT until March 2016: 24 hour’s Alameda location(just a few blocks away and they’re flagship location) is closed for construction issues, now this Glendale location is over-packed :(

Gross and gross. Def not 24 hours either. During the holidays it says they are open when you call. Nope. Def not.

I have been going to this gym for a few years, and was sad to see that 24 hour acquired it. It went from being decent and personable to over-crowded with rude people… much like the other 24 hour down the street. Typically I am not so harsh at reviewing, but I am flat out disappointed with everything that has happened since 24 hour took over. First of all, my boyfriend and I were signed on with a personal trainer when it was Bally’s. We spent A LOT of money on this. When 24 hour took over, their system eliminated about 20 sessions we still had left with our trainer. Instead of figuring it out, the manager just shrugged his shoulders at us and let us lose hundreds of dollars that we had put into it. Not honoring old contracts is downright greedy, and I have been angry about this every time I go in. If they had not honored the membership I was locked into for life, they would have lost me forever. If they do try and change my membership fee… I will be done. I’m not sure if any of the trainers there are happy either. There is only ONE left that I recognize that stayed on after Bally’s was taken over. We were bumped through a few trainers before we lost our contract, because they couldn’t keep trainers around. The one we picked ended up leaving because he wasn’t happy. Another thing, they need to update their equipment. I have been to other 24 hour locations and everything is on the newer side. If you’re going to rob us of our old contracts, you should probably give us a few perks… like nice equipment… in particular the stair master, some newer bikes, and probably more squatting racks so that there aren’t as many people waiting. Just a thought.

Was a member of the Bally’s years ago. Wandered into the«new» 24HR on Colorado that took over the Bally’s. Let’s see– oh ya… NOTHING has changed. Same EXACT filthy, broken equipment. Same filthy disgusting locker room. Here’s a note: a coat of paint does not make it a new gym. Can’t wait for the Anytime Fitness to open on Arkansas/Colorado. Went to the one in the Highlands– AWESOME place! Clean, new equipment, 24 hour access, great mix of equipment, no waiting in line for a machine, nice people, etc. Same owners opening the new one. 24GET A CLUE — –

I changed my membership from Lifetime in Centennial to 24 hour fitness since moving to the Glendale area(thought it’d be nice to walk to the gym instead of drive), and this particular location is pretty hideous. They’ve got a good selection of equipment, but I am thankful every time I leave here without having contracted an infectious disease. They should definitely put some ceiling tiles in, as it looks like something may start growing out of the rafters any minute. For all you nay-sayers who say, «oh, but it’s super cheap,» I used to go to LA fitness in Atlanta and also paid $ 29.99/month, but the quality was superb. All new equipment, organized layout, clean, upbeat feel, better locker rooms, sports facilities and pools. This place looks like somewhere you’d send your motivation to parish. I’ll still go there because it’s right down the street, but let it be known; some improvements need to be made in order for me to up my starage.

Have been to this recently acquired gym several times since February. 24 Hour Fitness is a good value, despite the negative reviews. This gym has plenty of cardio and lifting equipment to choose from. Cleaning crew does a very good job. The front desk employees greet clients and guests cheerfully. Most people that workout here take their workouts seriously, and courteous to each other. There are a few restaurants to choose from, nearby.

Bally Total fitness was aquired by 24 hour fitness. The are not fully honoring the contracts for Bally members. It was on the news:
