I am not a fan of their pizza. I usually order the pasta dishes here, usually the pasta with garlic, broccoli and olive oil. It’s hit or miss in terms of taste and quality — at times it’s great and delicious and other times it’s dry and bland. Staff is great and friendly.

Ordered 2 slices and garlic knots. Took a bite into the garlic knot and I felt something really hard in there. I took it out of my mouth and there was ATLEAST5 – 6STAPLESINMYGARLICKNOT!!! OPENEDSTAPLES(PICPOSTED). I told them how I almost choked and they were so unapologetic it was like they didn’t even care. They didn’t even want to give a refund, making me choose between New garlic knots or a refund. When I demanded both they said they were only going to give me 6 garlic knots instead of 12. This place needs to get shut down, I will be contacting the deparment of health.

Outrageous prices for pizza, much more expensive than nearby competitors. Pizza taste is pretty good but not great in comparison to other locations nearby. Its good for a quick slice, not worth for a pie.

I used to go here all the time. Then when it was GRADEPENDING for a really long time. I took a break. I used to order pizza here & their Chicken Francese meal. The last few times before Grade Pending the Chicken Francese was gross & half cooked. I should have called back to complain but I just said Never again. Well I ordered this week & decided to try the Chicken Marsala & use the Marsala sauce for my spaghetti. Well, Wow, That was an experience in itself. It was the weirdest marsala I have ever tried. Not good at all! I should have known b/c my mother makes the best but I have had it at Hi-Class in Bellerose & in Ciro’s in Floral Park & it’s Da Bomb! This was watery, a few mushrooms on top & more mushrooms were in the DRY spaghetti than anything. It was over $ 14 what a waste of money! Now I know!!!

Agree with most one star people here. They should get big fat 0. Joes USED to be amazing while across the street and when the owners(brothers) actually managed and cooked there(I moved here in 1988) but quality lessened year after year since the early 2000s and when they moved across the street it really went off the cliff… Does everyone realize how DIRTY Your establishment has to be to earn a B rating? The answer is EXTREMELY.(A ratings are fairly easy to get too) When I was in HS& college I heard horror stories from girls who worked PT. Go to Vaccaros or Umbertos(nhp) if your in the near area.

This is the best pizza in queens, no doubt about it. Parking is easy to find and the staff is pretty friendly. The regulars here tend to order things other than pizza, such as chicken parm and penne a la vodka, which are delicious. My favorite items here are the standard cheese slice and the Margarita. When i’m feeling extra hungry, i tend to lean towards the chicken rolls and the Sicilian slices… both of which are incredible as well. I think their buffalo slice needs improvement, but that is a very subjective topic.

When I moved to Bellerose 5 years ago I made it a point to try all the pizzerias in the area. Joe’s is my favorite. Not only is it one of the cheapest but the food actually tastes great. No need to spend that extra money at Umberto’s.

Great service and even better pasta! Their penne a la vodka pizza is the best I’ve ever had! Been going here for years and I’ve never been disappointed. Minus one star cuz of the small setting.

Yes, I am fan of this place. The health grade displayed out on the window is a «B». That didn’t stop me from buying my slices for dinner. I did not dine in so I am unable to write how that experience would have been. However if you wanted to dine in you can. It”s a causal place without a lot of places to sit. The cashier was friendly and quick. the prices are reasonable. However when I brought the pizza home the slices were still cold. I had to warm it up on the toaster. If I ever decided to go back, I will make sure to ask them to properly warm up the slices. The pizza was great. Very delicious and very greasy. That’s why I gave the place four stars. There was exaggerated amount of grease of the slices. I dab the grease at least four times. I don’t know if the grease adds on to the taste. However I refuse to eat that much grease.

Joe’s used to be amazing. However, I have found that the quality has slipped more and more over the years. And after the last two occasions, I can never go there again. My fiancé and I split the penne ala vodka and both ended up with food poisoning. After calling it a fluke, and giving them the benefit of the doubt, we re-ordered the penne ala vodka. Same exact result! It should come as no surprise I suppose, seeing how they have a B rating from the health department. Live and learn but never again!

Best pizza in Glen Oaks, Floral Park, and Bellerose. I love this place! I never can get enough. Penne Ala Vodka slices and entrée is the best

My mother & I head here when we’re in the mood for a slice and have a moment to sit to eat. Always good pizza.

I grew up ordering pizza from here. Ask a New Yorker about a good pizzeria and they will ask back«what type to slice are you looking to eat.». The speciality slice for Joes is their penne ala vodka slice. You will get your money’s worth with this slice. A notable runner up is the buffalo chicken slice. The regular pizza is standard. The garlic knots tend to be greasy so have a napkin ready if you order. The grilled chicken dinner is good, the chicken parm is ok. The owner tends to hire high school and collage girls and then proceeds to relentlessly badger them to work harder and faster. He must pay them well because the employee turnover rate is low.

Pizza is ok. Service isn’t great but that’s probebly due to the owner who is really hard on his employees in front of customers. The beatings won’t stop until moral improves! I usually order the mozz salad which is okay. Really a subpar dining experience all around.

Used to love going to Joe’s back in the when I was a kid. But in the last 5 to 10 years the quality of food has gone way down. Its considered a local institution since its been around so long but like everything times change. And all change is not good. Since moving to the opposite corner several years back the food quality went from good to ok. I never find myself enjoying any of their pizza anymore. Its just not a good quality food. If you have to get pizza go here in a pinch but if you have a choice go somewhere else.

Joe’s pizza is actually very good. I haven’t been there in a while so this review is based on the pizza I had from them a few months ago and that was very pleasant. Their pizza is the type that tastes best straight out of the oven. The overall place isn’t anything fancy but they do have a sit down area to eat in. There are many young kids working there but the staff is always respectful when I go. I, however, am not a fan of their garlic knots. I feel they are too oily and all you really taste is the olive oil which I would have to pass on. Other than that, the pizza is pretty good. If you’re in the Floral Park/Bellerose are, you should def. check them out.

Joe’s is one of the last trademarks of Bellerose– Floral Park since all the Indians restaurants/stores/supermarkets have rushed in. I very much like it and hope it never succumbs to the forces around it. They serve everything a local pizza joint would sell; garlic knots, pizza slices, heroes, pastas etc. And it’s pretty good, nothing spectacular, but good decent food. Space is limited in the pizzeria since they’ve moved across the street, but it still works for them. And I will still support their business. They hire local kids from the area. In fact I’ve had friends who’ve work there previously. None of which have ever complained about being mistreated.
