There’s a sweet older woman who works here who is very nice. The other cashiers leave a lot to be desired, they seem miserable. Went there today and there was no one at the register. I saw the cashier down the aisle and asked politely if she could help me. She didn’t respond then slowly walked over making a face. Excuse me for you not doing your job.

This is a really nice Duane Reade! It is very clean and organized. The pharmacist and staff are very friendly. Just be sure to check your receipt before leaving. My husband was overcharged once but it was rectified when he went back with the receipt.

It is usually a fast check out here which I love. I could get in and out really quick. You can pick up some good deals on their clearance rack so it is good to take a quick look. I also like the fact that they carry natural body soap products and baby wipes. I like these water wipes that are natural that are not carried everywhere. The Burts Bees products are great as well. I will continue to visit this Duane Reade. Their points program is good and I usually try to enter the survey at the bottom of the receipt.

The pharmacist at this location is excellent and very helpful. Explained my medications to me very clearly. Always meets customers with a smile. Great asset to our neighborhood.

OK I know its not quite tasteful to rate chains, but this location is not very good with their passport picture services. As I was applying for schools and a passport recently, I needed lots of pictures, and each set was not fitting the correct proportions designated by the government. They returned my money the third time around (my face was three shades yellow-​er than normal in those pictures, AND the proportions were out of wack) with no hassle. Definitely polite staff, and they seem like they will fix the issue soon. But I would not take my chances here with the passport pics services. Other than that, they always are helpful and there is a normal selection of items and such.

This Duane Reade was recently refurbished. I love it. It is my new go to neighborhood drug store. It is always bright, clean and organized. The staff is nice and the prices are decent.
Read the weekly circular as they do have some good sales. I also like their clearance section were you can get some good deals at 90 percent off.
Their rewards program is cool and I like the fact that I could punch in my phone number at the register myself instead of carrying the card.

A friendly lass helped me, the wise choice given the checkouts on both sides, just as you can enter either way. The «DR Delish» products inspired a bit of trepidation but the solid food selection allayed my fears, despite the upsetting apparent lack of sushi. Said nice gal was efficient, albeit a bit advanced in age.
Regardless, RockBottom will always reside in the center of my heart.
