Afghan take out at its tastiest. Order food at the counter and wait for it to be delivered. Delicious and lost lamb over seasoned to perfection basmati type rice. Served with more carby goodness with bread. Came with a side salad. And two types of sauces. The green spicy one was my favorite. They serve a delicious type of mango and dairy drink. Sort of like a lassi. The place filled up rather quickly with regulars who wanted a night off from cooking.

In a city with so many other Afghan restaurants, this Afghan Kebab House is one of my favorites. I go here all the time, take my friends here, and cater from here for family parties and even larger events.

I ordered my food on Grubhub at 8:33pm. The estimated time of delivery that immediately appeared was 10:08. If I had known that it would take 90minutes, I would have ordered from somewhere else. The range ended up changing to 10:05 to 10:15. I called the restaurant at 10:08, and was told the delivery man just left and should be there in 10 minutes. By 10:27pm, I was on the phone with Grubhub to complain that my order hadn’t arrived and at 10:30, the delivery man shows up. The food itself was still somewhat warm, but the food was average. I ordered the chicken kebob. The chicken had flavor, but the rice warm barely seasoned. My friend’s order was a kebob combo, and it was supposed to come with bread – which of course was missing. His food average too. Was not worth the wait and I will definitely not order from here again. I gave it two stars for the food.

I went there for the first time with some of my guests but I was very disappointed and embarrassed with their service and food. There was only one person who was running around to take orders than serving everyone himself, which was really surprising to everyone. Furthermore the food is a joke and very little that was not enough for one person to eat and the Kabob was really small pieces that I have never seen before any where. The rice smelled like leftover and tasted really bad. The price they charged is way more than other restaurants but the food is just horrible. It was my first and last time to this place.

Got the chicken and lamb tikka. The lamb was dry and over cooked and the chicken had no flavor. The rice was the only good thing about this dish, but not worth getting ever again.

I really wanted to like this place. It was just ok. My chicken was a little dry and the little piece of bread was a tease, they should give you more than 1 little piece of bread. I will try it again and maybe have something different, they’ve been in business for a while so they must be doing something right. My husband liked it, he had lamb kebobs. The rice was good. It was a little pricey.

I ordered food for the first time from this place. The food was delivered promptly. The salad was fresh and the food was neatly packaged. Most importantly, it tasted delicious. The meat was tender and well cooked. The bread was warm and soft. The rice was unique and savory. I will definitely order from this place again.
