I drove up here because of the five star rating. It’s just slightly below average. The flavors are a bit delicate for my taste. The snotty tween cashier was rude and didn’t even offer me my receipt much less say hi. How about a fake smile? I don’t actually know how much I spent. I won’t return.

As avid Froyo connoisseurs, my girlfriend and I are always on the lookout for delicious places. We have quickly fallen in love with Skinnysweet, frequenting at least one of their establishments in the area weekly. Ignoring the somewhat strange name, the selection of flavors is excellent, with a nice balance between their signature and new flavors. As a huge fan of the cake batter flavor, I’m pleased to see that it is almost always available. The toppings are numerous, and most importantly always fresh — some Froyo joints don’t seem to understand that topping freshness plays just as much(if not more of) a role in customer experience and satisfaction than the number of flavors(or toppings) offered. Hours are great and staff is always friendly and willing to let you sample as many flavors as you want. I’d highly recommend Skinnysweet to anyone looking for good Froyo.

I love skinnysweet! Went in there one day while I was on my break from work across the street. Very clean and tons of great flavors to chose from. I love the toppings in the dispensers too! I live closer to red mango but now I will drive to skinnysweet because I keep craving it! The flavors just seem to taste better than the other fro yo places I’ve been to! I’ve taken some coworkers there and now we all keep talking about going there on our breaks. Can’t wait to come again. My new fav place to go! My favorite flavors are candy bar smash and cake batter, a must to try!

Can’t get enough! They do a great job of rotating flavors seasonally to keep a good mix of flavors going. Great variety of toppings. Yogurtland opened nearby however they definitely are not as good as SkinnySweet.

Tried the tart + pomegranite with gummi bears and boba pearls. Yes, I’m a grown up. Anyway it was delicious. Their flavors are all better than most froyo places. Their topping selection is vast. My wife loved the salted caramel froyo with brownie bits and mini turtle candies. The staff was helpful and happy to provide samples. Definitely our new go-to for froyo.

Came here after reading the reviews but I wasn’t impressed. The flavors were all so sweet and the toppings were mostly candy or sweet options. Wish they had more fruit toppings as well as more tart flavored yogurts. I also didn’t like how the employee took out sample cups from her apron pocket. Who knows how dirty it gets.

Love. Love. Love. This place. It’s super clean. Priced well. They don’t close crazy early so that’s a plus too. Ugh. Now I want some now. I do feel like because they cups are SO big I always put to much it.

Went there only about 5 – 6 flavors to choose from and they didn’t even seem that appealing. Was immediately turned off by the lack of options put my empty bowl back and left. Went to oberweis instead! So good!

LOVE this place! The flavors are amazing and the best I’ve ever had! Salted caramel, chocolate, and cake batter are my family’s favorites. So many different flavors to try though, will need to explore more. Super clean, friendly staff, great atmosphere, and the best frozen yogurt you will ever taste! Skinny Sweet, we love you!

I love Skinny Sweet. I don’t live in the area, but stop by when I get the chance. It is always so clean inside! The fruits are always fresh and the topping selections are endless! I love the popping boba! The young ladies who run the register are always very friendly and helpful. They never mind giving you a sample of a flavor you may want to try. Although I’m a boring one and almost always choose vanilla, the flavors change all the time so there is always something new to try. And it may sound silly… but I love their spoons too! :) the fun light fixtures and modern style tables and chairs set a very neat mood in this wonderful establishment. I highly recommend stopping by and checking them out!

First off I’m a huge fan of fro yo so I know what’s up. This is like every other fro yo place in that they have numerous flavors and let you try whatever flavors you want to sample. The fro yo flavors here are really good. They have a great selection of toppings. They also give you 20% off if you have a College of Dupage student ID so that’s a bonus.

SkinnySweet is very similar to every other DIY FroYo place I’ve tried. There were minimal differences I observed: a) SkinnySweet seems to have more toppings available, mostly in the candy variety(though the fruit looked nice too) b) it’s a little cramped, especially near the toppings/register because of the extra wall with dispensers that divides the aisle c) the girl working near the dispensers got us samples instead of us doing it ourselves(slightly awkward) The flavors I tried were good(oatmeal cookie and salted caramel), and there were some fun toppings for sure, including red velvet cake chunks. The store was pretty clean and there was a decent amount of seating inside. It seems like there isn’t much that sets SkinnySweet apart from Yogurtland or Cocomero, but they’re all good for a sweet do-it-yourself treat when the urge hits.

Place is great! Self serve, pay by the ounce. Reasonably priced, but can be dangerous if you’re indecisive and hungry! I’ll be back for sure! Try the salted caramel and cake batter with caption crunch on top! Holy wow!

Note: try the salted caramel, you won’t regret it. Actually, go for the cinnamon & salted caramel. Amazing! It has really cute décor and really great frozen yogurt. I enjoyed nearly my entire cup, til I found a hair in it(that was my sign to stop). If not for the hair, this froyo place would have received a 5 star rating!

I’m afraid I’m a favorite — love their tart and whatever sorbet they have together. Very clean taste — simple and satisfying. I can’t comment on the other flavors. It is clean — bright — friendly. Tastes great. I’ve taken many people there and they are sold as well.

Holy flavors batman it’s toppings galore. Its clean, its bright, I think Barbie was their interior decorator. Self serve, not self sample… but their very helpful friendly staff was readily available to assist me. They have 14 flavors, all of which were pretty unique and not just variations of basic vanilla and chocolate. I sampled flavors like Kona coffee, that packed a super intense coffee flavored punch, I was not a fan. Another flavor called Coco Carmel something that was so rich and creamy I forgot it way frozen yogurt. Their Key Lime Pie, Cake Batter and a Chocolate Thin Mint were good. I always sample before filling up, especially if its my first time… or if I just want to try something new. And I’m glad I did, because I really thought I would like the Kona coffee but it was not my cup of tea OR joe. I ended up creating my own key lime pie concoction with key lime froyo, topped with fresh kiwi and graham cracker crumbs. It was da bomb diggitty.

Great. Just what I needed– another temptation on my drive home from work every day! ;) Wow– this place is fantastic. I appreciated the other reviews with the recommendations of the salted caramel frozen yogurt– I couldn’t believe how delicious it was! They have about ten options of frozen yogurt, and you can sample as many as you want before you decide(although I did not master how to get the yogurt out of those little tiny sample cups). I ended up having half caramel and half Belgian chocolate, while my husband had half cherry half chocolate. I also sampled the cookies and cream which was excellent! So hard to choose. What I thought was super clever is that you can use graham crackers as bowl dividers– this is a great idea if you want half chocolate with candy toppings and half fruit flavor with fruit toppings– I don’t like my flavors touching so this is a great idea in my book. :) I thought the people working were very friendly and helpful, and they kept cleaning everything throughout our short visit– very impressive. They have a ton of toppings! More than I’ve seen anywhere. Many cereals, creative candy toppings(including chocolate caramel tiny turtles that were cute but I overdid them), cookies, brownie bites, nuts, a great variety of fruit, sprinkles, sauces, whipped cream, etc. The seating and décor are cute. This is a really fun place. Be careful– we had a Groupon that covered $ 10 and for two people we overspent the Groupon by about $ 2 with so many toppings. :) Enjoy!

The self serve frozen yogurt craze is definitely hitting the Chicago land area with a vengeance. The new comer to the scene is Skinny Sweet. I had a Groupon the allowed me $ 10 worth of froyo. Now that seems like a lot but froyo isn’t cheap. Skinny sweet’s will run 45 cents/ounce which is fairly comparable to other locations. I would have to say that Skinny Sweet has the best interior and aesthetics of any other frozen yogurt shop I’ve been to… and I’ve been to quite a few. They have some really cool hot pink and white light fixtures that adorn the seating area. They also have a cool area where some cereals and other small candies(think fruity pebbles and nerds) are dispensed from huge cylinders. The topping selection is pretty extensive(they have mochi!!). Samples of their flavors are freely offered and it looks like they change out their yogurt flavors on a daily/weekly basis. What I really liked was that the yogurt dispensers had 2 flavors paired together so you could have the option of getting both swirl style. I ended up getting the strawberry/green apple swirl. I also loaded on way too many toppings because by the time I was done, I was starting to feel ill(loved the brownie bites but looking back, it probably be suited better on a cake batter flavor and not sour green apple/strawberry). The employees were very attentive offering up samples and making sure that the seating area as well as topping areas were clean and tidy. If I am in the area, I will definitely stop by again.
