The only pizza I enjoy eating lately. Each time I used to order other pizzas I just felt like I had to first take care of the grease and then I just couldn’t enjoy it anymore. Pie five pizza is made by my instructions, I can control the cheese, sauce and everything else plus it tastes fresh and since they added the flat bread pizza I feel like it’s lighter in my stomach and I can definitely enjoy it without feeling guilty :).

For our first trip here, we were pretty impressed with pizza made to order in five minutes. In addition to the pizzas on the menu, you can make your own for the same price. That’s a pretty good deal if you want to be creative or are picky. The pizza sizes are just right that you don’t feel like a total pig for eating the whole thing. Hubby got a meat lovers. I got the farmer’s market. The kid got the cheese pizza. With the exception of two small pieces of the kids pizza, we ate it all. Our kid(2 years old) loves pizza but we were quite surprised at how much he ate of this. Plus it was a proper kids portion. For those that do no gluten, they’ve got options for that. All in all, we enjoyed our lunch and will definitely be going back when in the mood for pizza but don’t want to wait 30 minutes for delivery.

We’ve been seeing Pie Five opening up everywhere and my husband and I finally try it out. I want you to know, I’m not always in the mood for pizza. I tend to like ethnic food over American — burgers, sandwiches and pizza. I don’t know why– I just like flavor and rice But I didn’t mind trying out this pizza place. I like the concept of personal pan pizza your way and all for one price. You line up to order and go down the line telling them what kind of crust/dough you want. You can choose a specialty pizza(all toppings are already selected for you) or make your own. The man in front of me did both after he saw all the different toppings there was– his Alfredo pizza turned out to be a thick in toppings. I also saw them do half and half on the pizza(so you can get two types). They also have side salad(on a shaped pizza dough bowl) or dessert(also can buy as a whole) and drink bundle for a little over $ 3 on top of the cost of the pizza($ 6.99). So around $ 10.50– give or take a few cents. Once you approve the pizza it gets popped in the conveyor oven. In the meantime the next person asks if your interested in a side salad or dessert. Once your pizza pops out they cut it into 6 slices and ask if you want Magic Dust(it’s a combination of spices– like Italian seasoning). We said yes– it was good! If you want your order to go– they’ll box it up or put on a tray if you’re dining in. Six slices on a personal pan may not seem that big, but it filled me up. I ordered the High Five(Tuscan marinara, cheddar, pepperoni, Italian sausage, bacon, ham and beef) on their recommended Classic Pan crust with a side of Greek salad and a drink. My husband ordered the Five Star(Tuscan marinara, cheddar, pork sausage, pepperoni, beef, green olives, red and green peppers, black olives, red onions) on the recommended Classic Pan crust. We usually switch half of what we order so we both can taste the other person’s meal– this was no different. We switched two and shared the salad– we were def full, couldn’t even finish the small salad. Will def come to PieFive pizza again. This location was clean and wasn’t crowded at around 12noon on a beautiful Saturday. But line goes fast so evwn if there is a line– wouldn’t be too long.

Excellent place. Good pizza, good atmosphere, friendly and professional staff. I eat here at least once a week, and will continue to do so.

This choose-what-you-want pizza place is really really cool. First off, the inside is nice, clean, and slick. It’s set up much like a chipotle or qdoba, where the line is formed against one side if the walla and trails into the counter area where they make your pizza in front of you. The employees are really nice and helpful, especially since it was my first time there :) It’s about $ 7 for their personal-sized pizzas which can be any one of their specialty pizzas or a make-you-own pizza. The place also has a few selection of beers and angry orchards which I thought was really awesome. The selection and quantity wasn’t so much as to promoted drinking in the facility, but more so as just another drink option for the older peeps. But the soda machine tho… they have TWO of those automated touch-screen soda machines which was awesomeeee. I love those thangs. But, more importantly, the pizza. It was good! Definitely within the realm of its price range and the size of it was also reasonable, considering all the toppings you can put on it. It’s definitely a pizza place that can easily be passed by, being on the side of the road, but it’s you should definitely give it a shot. I recommend!

Very good selection and perfectly sized pizzas. Not too much or too little for the average person. I am a larger guy and the pizza never disappoints. Staff seems a bit short at times meaning they just try to get you in and out, but that’s the nature of society today and shouldn’t be held against them.

I really enjoyed that this place was a build your own personal pizza. However I ended up getting one of their pre made ones. It was a veggie pizza. The pan crust was amazing. The only problem I had was every time I took the first bite of a slice the cheese would just slide off and is basically have to finish the pizza with just sauce. They also have those cool drinking fountains that let you pick anything. Staff was nice. Would go again.

I love personal pizzas even though I can never finish them. Their pan and regular thin crust is great. The thin whole wheat made a pizza I ordered taste bland, but I guess that’s what I get for trying the healthy option ‚) The pizza is pretty good though for the price. The place is super loud since there’s families and kids running around. Definitely try to order to go if you’re not into loud/annoying atmospheres. The staff that builds your pizza for you is very friendly, although it’s an assembly line style, don’t feel rushed! I also suggest getting a rewards card, you can earn free pizzas. Recently went and bought a couple pizzas for me and my sisters and I got a free pizza with my points, such a pleasant surprise.

This place is pretty cool! The concept is somewhat similar to Chipotle, except it’s for pizza! Honestly, I think I can live off pizza alone… and pasta, but anyway, this brings a whole new perspective to the great creation which is… PIZZA! You get in line and order. starting out with the crust. You can pick thin crust, pan crust, whole wheat crust, or even a gluten free crust. Afterwards, you select the type of sauce that you want along with any toppings, meats and/or veggies, that you would like. Then you get to the register and as you pay for your food and make any final requests, your pizza cooks in a conveyor belt oven, only taking a few short minutes to cook. And voila! You have a delicious personalized pizza ready for the eating! Pie Five Pizza Co also offers salads and desserts which I will have to try at another time. Honestly, I was so overwhelmed with all of the toppings and choices that I ended up just picking out one of their creations, the Tuscan Chicken pizza. My pizza consisted of a thin crust, olive oil, garlic, mozzarella cheese, grilled chicken breast, spinach, and sun dried tomatoes. And why of course, I got a nice sprinkling of magic dust on it to finish it off. The pizza was delicious. I have 2 small complaints: 1. The crust on my pizza didn’t have that nice golden brown color to it. It was cooked but it looked a little pale compared to some of the other pizza pictures I’ve seen. 2. I got my pizza to go so by the time I got home, my pizza wasn’t as warm as I would’ve liked. But those are minor setbacks. I would definitely go back to Pie Five Pizza Co because overall, I enjoyed the experience and I look forward to making my own creation next time. I took a menu home with me so I can try to consider what I want before I even get there to avoid feeling overwhelmed.

I’ve been here a few times since its opening, and I most definitely plan to keep coming back. I can agree that your first visit can be overwhelming; there are many options to choose from and it seems to be a situation where you just choose what sounds good and go from there as far as seeing what you like the most(kind of like a Mongolian grill). For a made-to-order operation, service is quick; I haven’t waited long in a line at all. The staff is VERY friendly and pleasant, almost surprisingly so, which is a huge plus. The dining room has always been clean and the table set-up is wonderful. Aesthetically, the entire concept of this place is very pleasing to the eye in general. I don’t understand complaints about noise, this is not the only place with annoying chair/floor racket(*cough* Starbucks *cough*), and it’s a pizza joint… kids are a given. Not really a destination for peace and quiet. The noise doesn’t bother me. The food is good. It’s not exceptional, but come on, it’s a fast-casual food option, it’s not meant to blow minds. I’ve gotten the standard crust each time I’ve been there, and it’s relatively bland, if I were them, I’d try some sort of seasoning to throw on it for flavor. The cheese and sauce are similarly bland, but like I said, I don’t expect world-class pizza from fast-casual. The salad is great, though, and I love that it comes in a an edible bowl!

Stopped in on a Friday evening around 5pm and the place was pretty slow with the workers ready and happy to assist me and my family. Very cheerful energetic team I must say! My husband and I ordered 2 pizzas(Athenian and Five Star).i really don’t have anything negative to say about the place primarily you really can’t complain due to the price and that you’re ordering your pizza to your liking or designing it shall I say. Just one thing to keep in mind it’s like Subway just pizza style lol… The only request is that when ordering the regular crust or deep dish you may want them to run the pizza through the over again. My pizza was warm not hot …

For what it is, a place to get personal pizza, customized to your liking and made quickly. It is an excellent place. Pizza are tasty. Service is good. Just don’t expect it to complete with your traditional fresh made pizza.

I’ve visited for lunch quite a few times. Always satisfied. It’s clean, friendly staff, and the foods good. Be sure to get magic dust on your pizza… and a turtle brownie.

Bottom Line: Personal pizzas made on an assembly line that you can then take to go or dine in the super loud restaurant. To order a personal pizza at Pie Five you can order one of their standard pizzas or personalize your own pizza. Not feeling creative at the end of a very long work week, I ordered the Greek-salad inspired Athenian from their salad but you can also customize your pizza which is how to make the most of your Pie Five experience. If you want to build your own pie then get in line and get ready to specify: — Your crust(thin, thick or gluenten free) –Your sauce(a variety of classic and unique red and whites sauces) — Your cheese blend(get wild and opt for something like ricotta!) — Your meats(you know, stuff that often comes in log form like pepperoni and sausage but plenty of other options too like ham, meatballs and bacon) — And finally, your veggies Most ingredients will be patted onto your crust of choice and then the whole thing goes through the conveyor belt oven. But, some toppings are finishers and go on post oven. While you are watching your pizza be built you can also order a salad or eye up the pizza-shaped desserts. I skipped those but was excited for a delicious fountain soda from the Coca-Cola Freestyle machine(the touch screen soda fountains with 100 varieties). My biggest complaint with Pie Five is the loud dining room. Heavy chairs scrapping on the floors, misbehaved kids and a lot of commotion in general. The loud interior coupled with a rowdy crowd will definitely prevent me from being a regular at Pie Five. As a final note, I am in love with &pizza in DC and was hopping Pie Five Pizza Co would be like that; unfortunately, this new Glen Burnie eatery definitely falls short of the personal pizza assembly line chain in the District.

Been wanting to try this place since I saw it being built. We are impressed. My hubs loves pizza and never turns down the chance to eat it. It was truly fast and fresh. And it tasted great. Mako approved!

Nice, nice, nice! I love the idea of creating my own pizza. I mean not that it’s new but to be able to see the process and BAM! There’s your pizza. We ordered two make your own pizzas and a salad. I choose the spicy sauce with pepperoni, bacon, pineapple and spinach. Hubby choose the regular sauce, pepperoni, mushrooms, peppers and olives. It literally took 5 minutes to cook. It was good, tasted fresh and new. We will defiantly return. I do, however, wish they had one closer to my end of town.

Wow, it’s like subway but for pizza! Prices seem reasonable, amazing topping choices, to include various types of tomatoes peppers and olives. I had the pesto chicken Alfredo pizza, it was amazing. others in my group had the 5 star pizza and a create your own. Everyone loved it. The bathrooms were very nice as well.

Went here for the first time this week with my husband. Love the personal pizza sizes because we both got what we wanted rather than having to share. I got the thin crust pizza and it was great! The staff was very friendly and made helpful recommendations. They place was also very clean. We will definitely be returning!

1st time here and so its assembly line style similar to your local chipotle. Only bad thing about this place is they only have small size(personal pan) size pizzas. I ordered the classic chicken carbonara & create your own total $ 14.82 They use all fresh ingredients, it’s very busy inside, but for me I was happy to try it. Nice to have more areas locally other than having to go to the city or other counties for eats. It’s a cool place but for that price I rather go somewhere else where I can order large. This is tonight’s dinner and it’s just not enough. But happy to have visited this place and visit my blog«Cierra’s Playground» to see video
