An interesting little place to explore your creative side. Stop in to mold ceramic, paint ceramic, paint glass or create your own glass. A friend and I visited for Ladies Night. As expected, parking in Short Pump was horrendous. The location was nice. Everything seemed a bit pricey and the two staff members seemed overwhelmed with the number of guests. We found ourselves waiting more than not and we even skipped asking questions because we were worried we’d spend the entire time waiting instead of painting. While the site advertised that snacks were provided, no drinks were available, not even water. The snacks were a bowl of chips and a bowl of chocolates, so don’t skip dinner for it. It seemed there were lots of methods available to use, but we didn’t know where they were or how to use them, there weren’t any instructions and the staff was super busy, so we just grabbed paint and a brush and went for it. Even getting the paint pens from behind the counter took up to 10 minutes at a time. It also appears they have lots to do for children and some children’s events. Check the website. Tip: Take your own beverages. Some people even brought wine and disposable wine glasses. IMHO, it was a fun thing to try at least once, but I won’t make a habit of it unless I have money to burn and/or some basic knowledge about the processes available to be utilized.
