5 stars for breakfast may seem outrageous to some but anyone who has waited in the rather intimidating line knows that this is THE place for morning fare. More choices than you could possibly want to consider, including a half dozen types of pancakes, three creative benedicts, and all sorts of breads and muffins. Eggs are always served perfect and coffee refreshed as needed. The standard menu items are spectacular including the omelets and potatoes. I am a fan of this place and consider it every morning!

The staff here is amazing! My husband and I have visited 3 times now, each time having a different waitress. They were all so pleasant and knew what they were doing. Food has always been delicious. Home fries are awesome and I am really picky about my home fries. I have recommended Ken’s to several people now and fully intend to tell more. Although the line is usually long, it seems to move quickly! Will definitely be back!

We come here all the time for breakfast and it’s great! It’s almost always crowded which shows how good the food is. The best part is their seasonal breakfasts, I’ve been dreaming of the raspberry pancakes since last summer.

I LOVE this place! The food is wonderful and the service is outstanding. The specials that are offered are always so creative and delicious. One tip: the place can get very busy on the weekends so you may have to wait, but it is most definitely worth it!

Good breakfast, I got the steak and cheese omlett, very cheesy. I think I overheard another table getting flavored coffee which is nice but my server didn’t mention it to me. The place was very busy. I think a little on the pricey side for breakfast but ill be back.

This is definitely the go to breakfast place in Glastonbury! The food is very good and always consistent. The only problem is that it’s always jammed! We always try to go as early as possible because the lines are insane. I don’t like the line of people inside the restaurant literally breathing down your neck and staring you down as you try to enjoy breakfast.

Stopped in for the first time today. Cannot recommend this place highly enough. My eggs were prepared properly(over medium is a challenge at many places), the bacon crisp and the French Toast was outstanding. My new stop when I’m in the area.

I am not a cranky person but when I am mislead deliberately about something it really bugs me. Here is my gripe: They offer a Seafood Salad on the menu. Seafood is a broad term and I asked for specifics and was told it was Langastino. Langastino are like tiny little lobster tails and I love them. I ordered it. It was really gross. It was 100% Surimi(fake crab or krab) and was 100% nauseating. Because I was with friends and I was their guest, I felt awkward about complaining but I did ask about it. I was told that I had ordered correctly — and what I got was what I ordered. Pretty sad. It’s like promising champagne and then giving somebody flat beer. Big let down. If I had simply be told the truth, I would have simply made another choice. I do not like being deliberately mislead.

Solid, friendly, and affordable breakfast place. It gets busy, and they’re only open until 12 on the weekends(Maybe Saturday is later? Not sure), so make sure you come early! On weekends they tend to run out of some things towards noon, so another reason why you should get here early. Service here is friendly and fast. The food comes out quick, correct, and delicious. The pancakes are really tasty, eggs come out just right, and the ham is especially good. The coffee leaves a bit to be desired, IMO, but I’m sure most enjoy it. They have a good amount of specials written on the board when you first walk in, so be sure to take a look at those before you sit down. Definitely a good go-to ‘regular’ breakfast place.

Loved my server, loved the food,(pancakes, bacon and eggs), fast, friendly service – all of what I LOVE in an eating establishment! Next try: Lobster Benedict! Bottom line: No need for McDonald’s – you can get fast, fresh hot food here! Tell them I sent you!

Was in town for a wedding and came in the morning of, which was a Friday. Had a line that went outside, which from what we were told was significantly shorter than normal. Didn’t take long to get through the line. From everything our table had ordered, it seemed to be a typical breakfast place. Nothing great, nothing bad, but cured our hunger.

Better than many other breakfast spots I’ve had in the greater Hartford area, will return in the future. If you’re a Yankees fan, you would love the collection of memorabilia they have collected over the years.

I love this quaint little spot. The ambiance is great, the servers are friendly, the kitchen is fast and pricing is very good. I ordered the Coconut French Toast with corned beef hash. Everything was AMAZING and I would totally come here again for that exact thing.

We have been here twice since moving into town. Finding a good breakfast place is very important and it just so happens to be one of my favorite meals. We were very happy with the selection and quality of food that Ken’s has to offer. From omelets to crepes to banana pancakes, the food is delicious. Fruit toppings are fresh, yes fresh! The staff is very efficient and pleasant. Go early because it tends to get pretty busy, but if you’re unlucky enough to have to wait in line, know the food is worth it!

torn between 4 and 5, what the heck, 5 stars! got some breakfest yesterday, aka, sunday, aka, get here early day, WOW! you know its a good place when they have queuing instructions on the outside of the building. despite the line and wait, i didnt mind taking the kids and all. i will say, for a busy sunday morning, the staff were very«nice» about my kids getting in the way(yes i tried to keep them out of the way) they could have been a-holes about it, but they werent. the grub was prety tasty, the kids love the oreo pancakes,(ok, the adults also liked them!) I got a bacon cheese omlete, very nice, but what can you really do to f up eggs? price is right for this place, we will be back.

This is my favorite breakfast place in Glastonbury. Not the fanciest or the most fashionable but really yummy food, friendly service, good portions, and fine prices. Very homey and delicious omelettes, pancakes, egg/sausage sandwiches, etc. Not much of a coffee drinker but friends say it’s good.

There was a wait, but the line moved at a good pace. There’s a great variety, I can’t possibly think of anyone going here for breakfast and not finding something they’d want. I had an omelet and had to try a piece of the coconut french toast. I will definitely go back. While the coconut french toast was good, I’m glad I didn’t order 3 pieces of it and that I just tried it.

I’m not sure what all the fuss is about here. I thought that staff was kind of rude. Being busy is no excuse to run around like its the end of the world. Every other breakfast place seems to have enough of a handle on the rush to not run around sweating and pointing at groups waiting to be seated from two feet away like they’re picking out suspects in a police station. As busy as any restaurant has ever been, I have never had to wait an hour for my food. As for the food, everything was really bland. The only good thing was the Nutella stuffed French toast,(although how can anyone mess that up)? We ordered breakfast sausages as a side and they gave us frozen patties that looked like sad little meat pancakes. Biscuits and gravy were not good. The coconut French toast was just French toast with coconut flakes. Looked and tasted sad. Don’t expect to be offered water or have your coffee refilled. I think most of this restaurant’s fan base is friends, family, and Townies from surrounding areas. Hopefully nobody is offended by this review because I think anybody that disagrees must just be a long time regular, and not a newcomer.

A true revival of classic American tradition. Ken’s corner is a prime example of how a small town morning breakfast restaurant should be. Family owned, small wooden tables, great staff, great selection, and of course their menu also has one of a kind items. Let’s start with Lobster Benedict. For about $ 15 you get a generous amount of fresh New England Lobster, a truck load of home fries, and amazing eggs. I also ordered one blueberry pan cake. I am not a big fan of pan cakes but believe me, it was the best. Extremely soft, not over powering in flavor, and of course as fluffy as clouds. My little brother ordered a cheese steak omelet. I high recommend trying it if you’re into Philly cheesesteaks. Everything is so fresh and well put together. I wouldn’t mind waiting for 2 hours just to get a seat. I posted some pictures of their menu. Unilocal tends to make the quality of the image awful so hopefully you readers can view it and decide. Highly recommend

My new find and one of the BEST for breakfast and a very friendly staff. This place is buzzing on a weekend and it takes a little to get seated. One would think that if the restaurant is packed, the staff might lose sight of the customers at any one table, but no. The staff over here are so friendly and go around constantly to all tables taking care of the customers which I think is great customer care. Also at the register when you are paying the check, the lady is so friendly and makes you feel like home. About the food, LOVE the varieties of french toast they have — coconut french toast & the cinnamon raisin french toast, are my favs. The pricing of the food are reasonable and this is one of the best b’fast joints.
