This place finally got a much needed make over. New wood flooring replaces the old dirty carpet. New drapes, clean windows and tables. The place really looks nice. Now with the smoking section completely closed off it is an enjoyable place to eat again for everyone. The food is always good as is the service. Come one come all.

Wonderful onion rings. Very rare to find hand battered rings like these. good burgers, good club sandwich, and good breakfast. Have not had anything bad. Worth a visit.

Aka The Texas Spur is an institution here in Gladewater. The food has Always been Good, Fast and a lot of it! The Service is Friendly and I’m sure if you give them a try that you won’t be disappointed. Prices are better than most. They stay true to country food!

I have been to traditions dozens of times in the past couple of years. the wait staff and management are awesome, the food is pretty good most of the time, and the prices are about average for a truck stop style diner. my favorite part is that most of the restaurant is the smoking section! so all you non smokers can go sit in the corner, lol. but seriously, if you’re in the area, this is the place to go. if you’re super hungry I recommend the «Sasquatch burger», and wish you the best of luck in finishing this massive mountain of deliciousness! the breakfast menu is pretty good also, and the full menu is served 24 hours a day. Enjoy

We stopped in on a whim while antiquing in Gladewater. The staff was friendly, the menu had a wide range of options without being over ambitious, and the atmosphere was cool and comfortable. They have a good local crowd of diners that indicated good food and service. We both ordered breakfast (at 2:00 in the afternoon) and received generous portions that were prepared exactly as ordered. We aren’t in the area often, but we’ll definitely eat here when we return.
