Enjoyed a terrific time with my wife wine tasting at Satori Cellers this afternoon. This is a very unique vineyard offering a great selection of home growng reds in a friendly, welcoming enviornment. It feels like home away from home. Appreciate all the staff do to make everyone feel good to be there.

I love this place! I’m not a big wine drinker, more of a craft beer guy, but I totally recommend this place. It is off the beaten path which makes it so cool! Free loving colors everywhere. Cool staff. Great wine. Nice tunes. Definitely not what you would expect at a winery(since it’s so down to earth and not in any way prestigious). If you are in or near Gilroy be sure to check it out! FYI it is outdoor seating with bocci ball and a great view of the hills. Dogs are super welcome if they are cool enough to hang with the house dogs.

I do not drink wine but we bring friends and family here when we can. They have a great atmosphere to sit around and talk as well as bocci ball and multiple dogs running around. If you bring your dog, just be sure to let the others ‘greet’ your dog. There was a pack greeting for our little pooch and thankfully she has a great disposition and once the meet and greet was over, she was fine. I’d also recommend that, while the other dogs were off leash, if you’re dog has a tendency to jump on people or sniff through their purses, etc, keep them on the leash. Most of the ones that are ‘residents’ are very well behaved.

I’ve been to this winery a couple of times before, and enjoyed the lively — albeit a little smug — atmosphere. This time, however, I was treated rudely by one of the staff and I will NEVER return. I parked in the one designated handicapped spot(my son is disabled) but was asked by the wine bus driver if I could move up to make room for her bus. Sure, no problem. However, I was then approached by a staff member and asked to move back. Ok, I said, but the bus driver wanted me to make room. The guy then very rudely stated that the bus«doesn’t live here» and it has no authority, and on and on. … Dude, I just wanted to park my car and spend some money at your fine establishment– not be berated about where I park and how I gave too much authority to some poor bus driver. My family ended up leaving after telling this guy just what we thought of his rude, sarcastic treatment of customers. Honestly, the wine is not good enough for this kind of attitude. I live in a town nearby and often set up wine tours in the Morgan Hill/Gilroy area. This winery will no longer be on the list,

Came here with our toddler and had a great time. Everyone was really friendly and someone even gave our daughter some grapes from the vine! We came on a Saturday and had sangria as well, which was really nice! This place is colorful yet relaxing. There’s tons of picnic seating and it’s really nice to bring your own snacks and enjoy. We’ve been twice now and it’s a great local place to bring our guests.

Very disappointed in the service we received. My group of friends felt that they were not giving us attention when we were trying to buy some wine.

Went to Satori Cellars this weekend with my friends who has a property in Gilroy, very close to Satori. Love the place, the ambiance and the idea of letting the dogs be in the property. I feel home and I will be back definitely. Love the Zen.

The wines were actually pretty good. great group of people and service was fast and friendly. we ended up buying some red and some champagne my girl really enjoyed… Red ??? Uh yeah. wow, so for that reason alone we will be back.

Satori Cellars pleasantly surprised us with full bodied, currant noted, food friendly wines after a weekend camping up in Henry Coe. A great outdoor atmosphere with a live band greeted us, along with welcoming staff and winery dogs. Our favorites were the oh so zin, estate, and petite syrah. I’d take friends and family here on our next trip down to Gilroy without a doubt, and if you’re used to wine tasting in Napa and Sonoma like us, this was a nice change of pace with good valued wines.

I’m a HUGE fan of Satori Cellars. It’s truly a fun place to stop on a wine tasting weekend. This particular weekend I was driving my daughter and some of her friends to a handful of South County Wineries. This was our last stop of the day and boy was I glad because as we pulled up, we could hear the live music. How great is that? This isn’t one of those snooty, high end tasting rooms. This is a bold colors, outdoor, kick back and relax with friends kinda place. I must admit … and I REALLY hate to say this but I’m not a huge fan of their wine. However they have a sangria that’s super tasty. Dog friendly(there’s a handful that will follow you around and love to be pet. Super cute. Bring a picnic lunch, some sunblock and relax.

Have visited Satori around 4 times. A large group(22 people) went out for a 30th birthday celebration which turned into a surprise engagement as well. Satori was last of 3 vineyards on our outing. Beforehand my fiancé was telling me how her cousin(the one who’s birthday it was, and who got proposed to) was getting asked how many people were drinking by the winery. Weird at the time because they have never asked before but it’s their prerogative. They were super cool during our time before we were getting ready to leave(one dude gave the proposer a beer cause they were BS’in and he was telling him how a cold one sounded good) BUT they also charged us more than two other wineries we visited($ 10 each person) like really? When we were getting ready to leave and talking to the bus driver, they started telling the organizer, rather aggressively, that we were going to have to pay for glasses we didn’t return. Like, we weren’t stealing your wine glasses people. Then we have a couple of dedicated people grab the glasses and bring them back. Set all on the counter and she swipes her hand and one falls off and it’s like the end of the world. Seriously? Not drunk was the girl collecting the wine glasses, cause why would that make sense, but then the«owner» says; «you need to leave. Get on, go.» To end this glorious affair, another patron decided to start verbally attacking the girl who broke the glass and the owner(guessing it was) said, and did, squat. These are people that live in gilroy, San Martin, and Morgan Hill. These are folks that frequented, and enjoyed, your establishment but those days are over. If a wine glass disappears when a party bus rolls in, so be it. Part of operating losses you should surely prepare for. But one not missing, one broken, and it’s the end of the world. Thanks for a very poor ending to what started as a beautiful day, Satori.

We’ve been there several times. We decided to give them one more chance and that was pointless. They were so rude, so classes, we spent like $ 500 and were treated like crap because we accidentally broke a wine glass!!! 1 broken glass out of the 20 we used. A broken glass at a winery must be super rare. Never going back again.

Such a fun, whimsical, and casual place with generous pours. Goldfish crackers are a cute touch. Try the Merlot, I could drink it every night. So glad they are now open every weekend!

Another one of my local favorites. This is the place to go to last on your wine tasting as this is where people end up hanging out and party into the evening with live music playing on the small deck and snacks being served. We had delicious tostadas when we came. It has a colorful, south-of-the-border feel to it with the tasting room being an outside bar. The wine is fun and light, nothing spectacular, but great table wine.

Fun winery! One of the best I’ve been to in the region. Seven pours for seven dollars BUT I picked up their flyer at Patti’s Perfect Pantry and got a BOGO tasting woo hoo! Even better – my bf doesn’t drink so I got double pours! Even worse is that his equals a lot of wine and I’m pretty drunk! Aside from the GENEROUS pours(my God I’m drunk) the place is crawling with cute doggies! Eight house dogs on the property… We brought my bfs dog along and they all got along fine. The service is awesomely friendly, the grounds are playful bright and quirky, and they have colorful goldfish crackers to snack on! Place was lively at 2pm on a Saturday. Please visit when in the area!

Always a fun time to be had at Satori! I have been tasting here and volunteering here for a couple of years now and I just can’t get enough. The wine is divine, the owners are welcoming to all, and the atmosphere is yummy. Dog friendly, family friendly. Their wine speaks for itself, medals on medals and it just keeps getting better. Enjoy!

Another winery that we didn’t know existed. We were told to look for the colorful place. This place had a Caribbean vibe to it. The colors and décor took me back to the Bahamas and Jamaica. It had an outdoor tasting bar… I wonder how they deal with the heat in the summer time. The folks running the bar were very nice and friendly. The wine was pretty good. Lots of outside sitting. This is one of those unpretentious place. Don’t need to be dressed up or anything. The only con I can think of was the dogs that were running around within the grounds. I’m a dog lover so I didn’t mind too much but I found myself shooing Buddy a lot. There were a couple of nice black labs also. It might be a turn off for those that aren’t fond of dogs hovering over u while you’re trying to enjoy your wine. Other than that if you’re looking for a different wine tasting experience, this place is a great place to check out.

Bocce Ball, rainbow goldfish and pizza! Loved the rainbow theme of this place and the whole ambiance in general. They are definitely a red wine friendly place, and I was very fond of the Zen Zin Great place for groups, would return here on a sunny day for sure!

Harmony and understanding Sympathy and trust abounding No more falsehoods or derisions Golden living dreams of visions Mystic crystal revelation And the mind’s true liberation Aquarius! Aquarius! — «Age of Aquarius» 5th Dimension Let The Sun Shine In indeed as I end Part III of my III Part 5 Star Winery Day. his may be one of my favorite stops because it combines funkiness, good people and very good wines in a charming, colorful setting. The winery is located inland off of a lettuce patch road with not too many wineries located in the immediate vicinity. You definitely see the chill hippie vibe though walking up with the colorful seating area and Jimmy Buffet looking tasting area. On my visit, even on a cold day, they were busy and I was helped by two servers including one named Aquarius! Awesome :) There were several dogs lying around just begging to be petted and a ery good curry soup in a crock pot being served gratis(plus some outstanding chocolate truffles too). Without communicating, both servers knew exactly where I was at in the multi-wine tasting. Must by Hippie-telepathy! The wines were good to outstanding with my two favorites being the Harmonic Convergence blend($ 30) and the Zen-Zin($ 28.00). I also ordered two bottles of the stainless steel Monterey Chardonnay($ 19.00). The reds were very fruit forward but with a nice balance and structure. Plus everyone, including the customers(I struck up a conversation with a cool dude as shaggy haired as the dogs) were so friendly that how could you not enjoy the visit or leave with a smile(especially since my six-pack was given to me in a very nice wine bag). This will become a regular stop for me! Highly recommended!
