Such a great shop with everything you can ever want to sew. An unbelievable inventory, It is a quilters paradise. Linda, the shop owner is very knowledgeable of her products. She is always pleasant and encouraging to her customers. Classes are offered for every level of sewing ability and every age. It’s a fun store to visit, but plan on spending some time there, since there is a lot to see.

I found Nimble Thimble by accident. What a great quilt store! Linda is so helpful and friendly. Beautiful fabrics and she has things I have not seen anywhere else. My favorite quilt shop and I don’t mind the drive down to Gilroy just to go there.

Fabric & Quilt Lover’s Paradise! Shop owner Linda has a great eye when it comes to displaying and selecting the treasures she sells. Truly the most beautiful selection of fabrics for sale in Northern California all creatively displayed. Don’t let the nostalgic feel of old wringer washers, exposed brick walls or retro fabrics fool you. This place is up to date & hip complete with its own Facebook page, sewing blog, Baby Lock machines galore and spacious fun meeting place for classes & quilt groups.

With the new location, parking in the back is great! Wonderful large shop with everything you need. Beautiful quality fabric makes me wish I could sew everyday. Be sure to check out the discount area for some great deals. I signed up for one of the many quilt classes they offer and can’t wait to get started!

Great store! I’m a novice sewer but the lady who helped me was a wealth of information and patient, try getting that at Wal-​Mart, she asked me questions to make sure I was getting the appropriate materials I needed. I recommend this store for all of your sewing or quilting needs.

Love the shop in the new location! There’s so much to see and I find something I just can’t live without whenever I shop here. Definitely worth the drive, and it’s easy to find parking in the lot behind the store. Linda is very helpful and encourages my creativity.
