Inside Out

This is an adorable store in the middle of an otherwise uneventful town. Gilman is cute but definitely not the most happening place. Inside Out is a nice alternative to most of the other shops around (dollar stores, thrift/​antique).
Most of the store is home goods items that are great to give as gifts (frames, kitchenware, decorative knickknacks). There is also a large selection of wine on the first floor and an awesome little backyard where you can drink wine or beers and relax with friends.

Located at 226 North Central Street in Gilman, IL this store has something for everyone! The building itself has such character, it is 106 years old! I love how they have used furniture pieces to display jewelry, bags, unique trinkets and more. They sell Illinois wine products in the Wine Corner. Stop by for a wine sampling any day they are open, and the wine is also available for purchase by the glass while you shop or enjoy their garden outside. This would be a great location for a private birthday party, girl’s night out, etc.
Outside they have very unique flowers for sale as well. My sister worked in the floral industry for years and never saw a black Petunia in person until now!
