As good as the food is(the Mac and cheese knocked the guy next to me socks off), the service exceeds it. Although incredibly busy(bike week), the bartenders were right on top of it. Not only that, they(Alicia) did it with sparkle and verve.

This place has been here since I can remember. My family used to have a house up Varney Point Rd and we would often come here. It is probably one of the better places in the area. Just be sure to sit in the pub area and understand it is a pub! Great place to go, sit back and chill.

Not from the area. Best steak tips I’ve had in my life. Acoustic night Thursday is a blast. Would highly recommend.

I went to Patrick’s today for the first time in over a year and a lot has changed, especially the menu. I wanted a fish sandwich, but it’s not a menu item anymore so I got the nachos, they were good, but I don’t like the new menu, the selection is smaller and the new items are too fancy for me. The waitress asked if I wanted guacamole and I said sure, I wish she had told me it was over 3.00 I wouldn’t have had it. Upcharging is great, but the customer still needs to be told of the extra charge.

The Spinach and Artichoke dip is to die for. The best I’ve ever had. Also love their Shepherds Pie. Service is always great as well.

My wife and I had an opportunity to eat in the restaurant side of Patrick’s Pub last night. We received great service from Charissa there. We wished though that we had sat in the pub. We found the restaurant to be pretty boring and uneventful. The food was ok, however if you like coleslaw, be prepared it has onions in it. My wife had the fish and chips and said it was good. I got the BBQ Combo for $ 16.99 and it was just ok. BBQ is done in their kitchen, not smoked and it is heavily sauced. If you are going to Patrick’s for the Pub, which we went into after, I think you’ll have a great time. If you are going to the restaurant, I think you can find better within 15 minutes of the location.

We have gone here several times. They have always been a bit pricey for what you get but the food was usually good. The last time we decided to order out and we were absolutely disappointed with portions and quality. There are many other restaurants in the area that actually appreciate your hard earned money.

Patrick’s Pub had average fish and chips and good chowder. It is popular and frequented by the local people.

I’d heard that this is a favorite hangout for skiers, after coming off the mountain at Gunstock. Actually, I sure it’s popular, year-round after my first visit. I stopped at lunch to get a read on the place for a profile I was on assignment for about skiing in the area. While slower than the norm during ski season, it wasn’t dead by any means. Nice selection of food, great beers on tap, and make sure you try their potato, cheese, and bacon soup. This was a perfect blend of those three ingredients, and rich and creamy. This would be a perfect accompaniment after a day out in the elements. Nice vibe at the bar. Part of this is due to having a bartender like Janet, who makes sure her customers have what they need, and then not forgetting them. You can tell she’s a veteran server. They have daily happy hour drink specials and live entertainment beginning on Thursday nights.

Got some apps and drinks here. The hand-batters chicken app was just OK, covered in a panko-like coating, but the spinach artichoke dip was great. Got the«buttered nuts» alcoholic hot chocolate and the famous toffee«pudding» for dessert and those were both out of this world.

We stopped in around 330pm for a late lunch after hiking Mt Major. Service was quick and we loved everything we ordered. Tried the poutine, chili and apple crisp. Very satisfied customers will be back next time we’re in this area. They also have a great gluten free menu.

I really appreciate great customer service and our bartender/server Raven was charming and very helpful. She was more than accommodating helping us figure out what vegan options Patrick’s had(which I know isn’t always what servers want to be doing) and was super friendly. Thanks Raven!

Food: I’ve only had their Lobster roll with their onion hooks, which is delicious(Pro tip: ask for an extra side of the onion hook dip and use it on your lobster roll). I also had their seafood chowder that wasn’t horrible, but it didn’t make my tastebuds get excited either, I had to add salt and pepper and it still tasted like something was missing. They say they won ‘best seafood chowder’ in the Lakes region. I can only assume there are not many competitors in that competition or they are not serving it as they did in the competition, it definitely needs more seasoning. Cost: Considering this is a resorty touristy area the price really isn’t that bad, it could be cheaper, but I’m still willing to pay their prices because the Lobster roll and onion hooks are awesome. Dining Area: Just about everything, booths, benches, chairs and tables, just depending on where you sit. Parking: Parking isn’t a problem, it’s in a shopping center parking lot and there is plenty of parking. Service: Service is always good, the wait staff is always friendly and the food has always come out in a timely fashion, they do well here. Summary: Even though it’s a bit pricey, it is a resort area so it’s to be expected and the food is some of the better food I’ve experienced in the area so far. Keep up the good work Patrick’s! I’ll be visiting more.

Patrick’s Pub is a great place to go for reliable food and service. The food is consistently good — not gourmet in any sense of the word — and you can count on decent sized portions for the price you pay. The menu consists of a nice variety of appetizers, sandwiches and entrees. There are also gluten free choices to select from. Seating is available at the full bar, at booths and tables or in a quieter dining room. Children/families are welcome here and there is a nice children’s menu. There is a daily«Specials Menu» which can have a variety of items such as salads, sandwiches and entrees. Different nights of the week offer live entertainment. There are also theme nights such as Team Trivia and Family Night every week. At the bar, Monday thru Friday from 4 – 6 there is Lucky Hour with $ 1 off drafts, $ 2 off wine and cocktail and $ 3 Lucky Apps! Patrick’s is also well know for helping people in the community. Many fundraisers have been held there for very important causes. They are always willing to help! This restaurant can be very busy, especially during the summer and on concert nights. There is «call ahead» which can be very helpful. You can also do takeout! Overall, Patrick’s is a great reliable, consistently good place to go in the Lakes Region!

No reservations, but they offer call-ahead seating. Ring ‘em 30 minutes before you want to eat, and cut your wait time. It’s a quality joint around a dearth of other options, so plan to do it. Or pass time with Golden Tee at the ready. Once you’re in and sat, unbuckle — the portions are no joke. Nothing terribly creative nor unheard of at similar pubs, but the specialties(namely seafood chowder and the house smoked BBQ pulled pork) get numerous shouts across four pages of menu. Said swine topped a mound of chips and more cheese than a 90’s tween dramedy for the shared nachos appetizer. Melted throughout with thick, crisp tortilla chips? Winner. My French Dip served its purpose, albeit a bit heavy on Guinness caramelized onions. Cole slaw(one of two side options — fries, the other) is tangy and firm. Apply pepper as though you were the bawse. Because you’re the bawse. Service is friendly and ultra-accommodating to our party of eight, with three under three. Refills came quickly, quality check timing was spot on and never without a smile. Even as babies were chucking onion hooks like it’s their job. Because it’s their job.

Patrick’s pub is easily accessible, has indoor and outdoor seating and nice ambiance in dining rooms. The service is excellent and wait staff are very attentive to the customer. Very nice choices on menu so always something for everyone. Ordered the stuffed mushrooms as an appetizer which were delicious stuffed with sausage and shrimp. Very firm mushrooms which is often a problem with stuffed mushrooms as they are so greasy and start falling apart. Next was our lobster rolls which were heaping with big pieces of lobster. Just light mayonnaise which was good as did not overpower the lobster. Rolls were toasted which is a must for me. Got a side with the lobster roll do had the onion hooks which were not greasy and lightly battered with a yummy dipping sauce. Excellent meal and great service. Yum yum I will be back, If you live in the area if you come to the area often make sure you get their Patricks loyalty card as everyone you go you earn points towards a $ 10 off coupon.
