While at a routine fill-​up of high octane gazoline, one of my pals decided to grab a pack of cigarettes. The cashier on duty continued to confusingly ask if we wanted credit or debit despite having a US $ 20 bill brandished in front of him. How he expected to run that bill as credit is beyond me. That aside, I did very much appreciate the Customer Appreciation Day hookup, it’s very nice when businesses go the extra mile and «give ya the pickle».
