Starboard Financial – The Right Way

I couldn’t be more pleased with the professional customer service that starboard financial provided me. The whole team I worked with (Jim, Sara, And Marie) were absolutely wonderful. They explained everything to me step by step and They also closed my loan quick as promised. Since they did such a great job, I referred My mother and a couple friends, They also were happy with their services. Thank you Starboard Financial!!!

I went in here looking for a loan officer as a first time homebuyer. I met with Matt R. He seemed completely disinterested, provided me with false information that I cant find anywhere, and never even asked for my info to follow-​up. I tried contacting him by email asking him where I can find these first time homebuyer programs because the website he gave me was for a town in CT and had nothing to do with buying a home! But, never got a response. The reviews are what made me want to go with Starboard Financial, but I see now they are probably fake and done by employees and their families. I found a loan officer elsewhere that provided me with several options as a first-​time homebuyer and has kept in contact helping me through the process. STARBOARD FINANCIAL IS A JOKE AND A WASTE OF YOUR TIME!

If you want the best Loan Officer in Arizona, you have to use Judi Gustin! She has done ALL of our home loans for over 20 years. We are confident that she will handle the transaction from start to finish and not pass us off to someone else or blame the underwriter. She is kind, caring and VERY PROFESSIONAL. My wife and I moved over 180 miles on our last home purchase. I knew that doing my loan with her would be the least stressful part of that move. Judi truly is the best!!! I will AND have referred her to everyone that needs a mortgage.

What a nightmare! If you don’t fit into the perfect mold – forget about it. I spent more than two and a half months trying to get a simple refinance done. They charged me for an appraisal (that was a joke) and other fees and then couldn’t get the loan done – it was a complete waste of time and money. My broker was very nice, but I’m sure he had his hands tied. I would NOT recommend this company.

I worked with Jim Flynn based on my Realtor’s recommendation. He was very knowledgeable and friendly. He answered questions quickly and he truly did do everything in his power to make sure that I got the home I wanted with a loan I could afford. I would recommend him if you need a home loan. The other staff at Starboard were great and friendly as well. Everyone responds quickly and they are pretty straight forward on what you need.
