OVERPRICED! Before you buy something, do yourself a favor and compare the price of the exact same product on Amazon, Walmart, etc. Same pot(brand, color, size, etc) was $ 19.99 at Walmart but $ 49.99 at Shars. More than double the price!

I had the pleasure of visiting this wonderful facility yesterday and was impressed with the excellent customer service and knowledge of Allison Carpenter and her staff. Not being the most seasoned or experienced chef myself I felt a level of excitement and adventure about creating a special dish or even trying a new recipe after my visit. The facility features the most creative and FREE classes that are sure to get to get you out of your«What’s for dinner» rut. I highly recommend dropping by and taking a look or hopefully a taste of what’s cooking or browse through the expansive selection of kitchen tools and appliances.

I used to attend Shar’s classes on the west side and I came to the Gilbert store yesterday to get supplies. When Shar was in the house, it was like you walked into her home. She or her staff greeted you and you felt welcome. I did not experience this at the Gilbert store yesterday, and I came far. The help was knowledgable but unfriendly. It cured me from going back. Amazon carries a lot of their products. Miss you Shar.

I attended one of her classes for pressure cookers, and had to leave with one. Luckily, she offers great discounts after her classes! Since then I have also gotten a bosch mixer(don’t know how I lived without one all these years!) and also a wheat grinder. Everytime I go in here I find something I can’t live without! Shar has great classes, and tips on how to utilize all her products. Well worth it to attend a class. I just wish the store was closer to Glendale! So glad I found shar’s, now my family enjoys homemade wheat bread and pizzas and all sorts of yummy things that are good for them too!

My husband bought me a nutrimill at Shar’s Kitchen for Christmas. My mom also bought me a mill for Christmas as well. So, after comparing the mills I decided to return the nutrimill for a refund. Luckily my husband kept the receipt and we had all the original packaging. Upon bringing it back I was shocked to discover that there are NOREFUNDS at Shar’s. Are you kidding me? Name one other store that does not refund your money when you return an un-used item in perfect condition with the receipt, in the original box, with all the original packaging, within a week of the purchase. I like to support local businesses, even if it means you spend a couple bucks more, but this will be my last purchase from Shar’s Kitchen. By the way, I even let her know I would be writing a review about my experience but she went on about how her return policy has been in place for 34 years… Well, maybe it is time to revise it. Very disappointing.

So if you like to(seriously) cook or bake then this is the place to go. They have all sorts of professional cooking/baking goods that places like BBB will not have… Like the professional Bosch cooking tools(mixers, grinders, etc). I can’t say much for the place as I’ve only been there once to buy my mixer… however one of my friends is seriously into cooking loves the place. They also have cooking classes all the time and I think a lot of them are free but are subject to availibility.
