Stopped by here on our way back from Sherwood Faire and even though there were two lines backed up, the manager and workers were SUPER friendly and took care of everyone. Wish we had this management and team back in Houston! Definitely made our day.

I give this place 5 stars because I love how they are an equal opportunity employer and provide opportunities to folks with special needs. Gilbert is so great at his job and glad he is part of the Whataburger family in Giddings. I personally have not had bad service there and the food is always good.

I ate at Whataburger for the first time while visiting Texas recently. My friend loves the place and prefers to eat it rather than any other fast food place. Knowing that raised my expectations greatly. I don’t eat fast food much but if I had the choice I’d probably pick Wendy’s or Burger King as my top options. Anyway, we stopped in while driving from Houston to Austin. I ordered a regular hamburger with fries and a Coke. First off, the soda wasn’t Coke. It was either a generic version or they hadn’t cleaned the dispensing filters. Whatever the case the drink wasn’t all that great and most certainly wasn’t brand name Coca Cola. The burger was decent. I got it plain with lettuce, tomato, pickles, mustard and ketchup. The burger was pretty big, fresh and hot. It was a good cut of meat too. The fries were good as well. I liked it but I’m not sure I’d be quick to eat there again. I would because there aren’t any Whataburger locations up north but if given the choice I’d still stuck with Wendy’s or another option. The service was very friendlly and professional though. The food was delivered to the table in less than 10 minutes and the staff inquired as to our comfort. That was definitely a nice chance because you don’t get that kind of service at fast food resaturants in my area.

Good food but the slowest fast food place in the world. I”ve been sitting in the drive thru line(it’s just me) for 10 minutes as I type this. Thought I could get a quick breakfast before work. Never again.

The five star rating is relative to experiences at other Whataburgers, not other restaurants in general. This is the best Whataburger in all of Austin, Houston, and anywhere in between. The employees are competent and seem to actually care about creating a pleasant dining experience, and fast(by Whataburger standards). The food is very fresh, and somehow the burgers just taste better here than other Whataburgers. We try to always make a point to stop here on a drive from Austin to Houston.

Slowest most inefficient whataburger EVER! We have been in the drive through for 39 minutes for a simple breakfast order. We couldn’t leave because we were smack in the middle of other cars in the drive through. Save yourself and DONOT stop here!!! We generally love Whataburger — but this experience was terrible. Thanks for adding 40 minutes to our trip home.

For a fast food burger, Whataburger has my vote, always. The food tastes the same here as it does in any other Whataburger I’ve been to. Fresh and tasty. The service was a bit slow, and one guy who came in after us got his order before we did. The girl running the cash register forgot to charge us for two patty melts. My husband had to tell her she missed one. I’ve never had a patty melt before, and I took a bite. It’s not my cup of tea, but I can see why he likes them. The fries were fresh and nicely salted, as always. The only real complaint I have, is that the area near the drink fountain smelt of vomit.

This is the slowest Whataburger I’ve ever been to! Food is pretty standard.

I’ve stopped at this Whataburger early in the morning several times on the way from Austin to Houston. The food is pretty standard for Whataburger, but the service always seems a bit off, whether it’s a delay in taking your order or a delay in getting the food out to you.

We had a big order. Went through the drive-through and the lady got everything right. Much appreciated.

If you’re heading to Austin, you’re most likely going to stop around the Giddings ‘area because 1. someone in the car is complaining about going to the restroom, 2. you need a stretch break, or 3. you are so damn hungry. If it’s all 3, this is it place. Whataburger is nestled in with the other fast food chains. It is always packed and food comes out in about 7 minutes. I am a huge fan of their milkshakes because it brings all the boys to the yard and because it’s basically ice cream with a straw in it. The food is always great and a good fill-me-up to get you on your way. Even though it’s always packed, the restroom are relatively cleaned.

I would like to say that I make a pit stop here when I drive from Houston to Austin. I am not only very happy with the freshly prepared food but the service is always great. I have stopped at this location a few times now and have never been disappointed. Thanks for making my long drive a pleasurable experience!

As a general course of business, Whataburger already ranks high in my fast food rolls due to its penchant for making its food fresh, its 24 hour availability, and its delectable chicken tender strips, whether enjoyed with white gravy or within their delicious honey biscuits as a sandwich. The burgers seem to have very fresh ingredients, much like In’n’out. However, this particular whataburger also featured a very friendly staff, both on the phone and in the drive through. They promptly came out and helped to push a stalled car that was having trouble in their lot, too! At 2 in the morning!
