Awesome people and a lot of great flavors. Definitely worth stopping by if only to hang out.

Awesome and friendly staff. No rush, no pressure. They know their stuff and even if you have no idea or no interest (like me) in the specifics or internal workings they’ll make sure you get exactly what you need.

I have to honestly say that this shop was just middle of the road in quality for me. The shop was in a historical building, which gave the atmosphere of old world style. However the shelving and display cases left something to be desired. The glass was smudged and there were finger prints over many of the mirrored surfaces. The shelves holding the vapor bottles were beginning to bow and there were empty product wrappers lining the back wall. However, the tasting bar was very well done. Like a classy winery, you approach the bar and are given a menu of their flavors. When you make your selection, the salesman hands you the tank on a battery and a disposable tip cover.
We had the opportunity to try many different flavors. The largest turn off was when I told the salesman that one of his tanks tasted burnt, he took my tip cover off and vaped directly from the tank. Once he realized it was empty he filled the tank, placed the cover back on, and handed it back to me. While he may not have realized he did this, I noticed. If I had been from the board of health he could have been potentially fined and/​or temporarily closed. And while I did not mention it directly to him, I refused to use that tank again.
Overall, the staff was friendly and helpful. The store definitely needs some spring cleaning! I would say the is an average vaping store. Will I make the trip for something specific? No, but if I happen to be in the area and need something quick I will stop in again. C+ work.

I smoke a hookah once every couple of weeks. I don’t need to smoke or want to smoke nor do I need the nicotine or get the shakes. For me it’s all about the ritual and the flavor. So, when somebody tried objectively discussing with me about vaping being like a hookah, I was curious.
If you know nothing about vaping, diving in with both feet, will swallow you up and make your head spin. There’s your kits your mods, standard voltage, variable voltage, wattage, variable wattage, click starts, switch styles, big batteries, small batteries, pen style, box style, tanks, coils, atomizers, pins, drip heads, USB charging, puff counters, ohm meters, 510 threading, 808 threading, and a frigging partridge in a pear tree.
This is where Dennis and Richard of Gettysburg vape come in. Two very cool, laid-​back intelligent guys. It doesn’t matter whether you’re a beginner, novice, expert, or completely out of your depth stupid about this stuff. They don’t mind taking the time to help you decide what you’re looking for, and make sure that you’re comfortable using it. My first visit here was with a friend who is interested but had absolutely no idea what she was doing. Richard took an hour and a half out of his day letting her sample most of the flavors they had without a single rushed feeling, or snarky attitude. That’s exactly what this world is lacking with everything needing to be faster and faster and customer service being pretty much non-​existent.
The shop that they run and the attitude that they have is both relaxed and fun. They stand behind their products and if you have any problems, you’re more than welcome to call or come back in and they will help you with anything that you may be having trouble with.
Their flavor list is pretty large and from what I’ve been told will constantly be growing and changing. Most of the flavors they offer can have a choice range of nicotine levels for the 0mg people like myself. Up into the 18s for people that really want that kick. Reasonable prices and they accept credit cards which is always a plus.
With this being the only vapor shop in Gettysburg at the moment. I think these guys will do well. Stop in and give them a try. If you enjoy vaping or are just curious about what it is, you won’t be let down.
That concludes my review. However…
I’m going to be completely honest here. After all, those who read my reviews I believe have come to expect a certain level of honesty in my words.
When I first saw vaping a few years ago. The first word that came to my mind was «pothead». Then, a few months later, another word came into my head «douchebag». I had neither the intent to know or want to know anything about this new trend. I half expected it to die out like those Bluetooth Earpiece wearing monkeys. It was only after another year and one genuine friends discussion, that I discovered that vaping is much more than a stoner habit or a douche bag status symbol. Rich and Dennis have also helped in showing me that you don’t have to be either to still have fun with this interesting hobby/​habit.
