My doctor told me to call prior to going for lab work and verify the electronic order had been received. I called three times, and three times someone picked up and hung up. I called the Shady Grove location once and the exact same thing happened. LabCorp has no interest in providing customer service.

I took my 16 month old daughter in today for blood work and they only allowed 1 parent in with the child. The appointment was at 3:15, not busy at all. My husband went in by himself so he could hold her still better but I was not allowed in to console my crying/scared baby girl. The technician was rude when she said«only 1 parent and the baby are allowed in the room.» My husband said the technician couldn’t find a vain which resulted in her having to readjust the needle while it was in my child’s arm. Good thing it was my husband in there and not me and they are lucky I can’t give them negative stars. Not a very happy mom

I took my special needs daughter here and never again. I will go to Frederick for now on. The staff was rude and acted like they did not want to be there. The tech had a nasty tone of voice while she told my daughter to sit in the drawing chair with her arms crossed. She also said they will not allow my daughter to be held down. I told her I will do it, she said no. As I was leaving she had the audacity to ask if I would be willing to try anyways(as my daughter was trying to push me out of the way to get to the door).

When I called, they make it very clear they close at 11:00 on Saturday. I understand they don’t want to work any later than they have to on a Saturday, but they locked the door at 10:58; someone knocked at exactly 11:00. I asked if I should answer the door and she said no. There were three others in the waiting room, so what difference really would one more person make??? I mean, that’s the difference between great customer service and just making a paycheck… I guess that’s what you get when they have guaranteed business thru the doctor’s offices/insurance companies and all they do is take your blood.
