This is our favorite campground in KY. It’s close to Lexington, but yet far enough to find real serenity and peacefulness. The campground couldn’t be owned by nicer people! It is clean and well maintained; all sites with gravel lots. There is a small pool, pavilion, large pond, and a state hunting park literally across the road. Definitely a keeper!

Great rv park. Pretty and spacious and quiet and the prices are reasonable. Theres lots to do here with Lexington and Frankfort so close. We have stayed here before and plan to come back again.

NOT ADA COMPLIANT! They treated me with my handicap like second rate! This place is not what it seems the place is all gravel, but not really it’s actually large old broken blacktop which my children were injured on several times. We went KY for me to get surgery one reattaching my shoulder blade to my spine and let them know all about my situation. The first day in it rained and found out we’re in a lake and did so for 3 weeks, leaving me stranded inside:(They promised us for 4 weeks to correct it and never did! When I confronted them they threatened to evict us, THIS IS NOT HOW YOU TREAT PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES!!! They are the type of people who do not accommodate the Handicap!

We just stayed overnight this time, but I believe we will try to come back for a long weekend, or even full week over the summer. They have a beautiful location atop the hill with a gorgeous view of the sunset! There’s a pool (closed right now) with a winding slide that made my kids wish for summer. They have a new looking playground, a koi pond, and a fishing pond. The bathrooms are clean and nice. The staff was very welcoming and kind. We will definitely be back!

Great campground. Would recommend this place to anyone. We would for sure stay here again. They are close to everything yet far enough away that the noise and hassle of life doesn’t find you!

As a campground owner, we were delighted to find this terrific park. The facilities met all of our needs. Private bathrooms, full hook ups, level sites, and a great location convenient to Lexington. If you winter camp and get frustrated with Southern Lights and no water hook ups at the horse park, this park is for you! Thanks for everything, Pat and Monica!

Great park — new, well designed, clean, spacious and friendly owners. Fantastic personal washrooms. Close to exit 129. Lots of Pull through sites. Open year round. Full services including free WiFi.
