I will never come here again. My children, ages 12 and 6, and another child were by the pond. The owner, Jane, told the kids that «if they cut her elephant ears she would cut their necks.» My children were terrified an adult would say this to them. We confronted Jane and she admitted it, was rude to us and was unapologetic!!! The bartender even tried getting in our business and was very rude as well! We will never attend this venue again!

I love The Page House, I have attended a couple of weddings there, and I noticed at one of them when the bartender started loosing her temper with the bride, Jane walked right over and took care of it. I think that was an unfortunate situation that occurred under Jane, but I think she handled it very well and discretely enough to keep the show moving. The venue is beautiful and Jane and her staff are very helpful! Jane will bend over backward to make sure her bride is happy. She will do as little or as much as you want, and I think that is just fabulous!

Not for live music! My band was hired to play a birthday party which was held at this venue. Our customer made sure to ask the folks at the Page House if live music was allowed there and were assured that it wouldn’t be an issue. As soon as we start setting up in the courtyard we are greeted by the Page House folks, who basically tell us anything over 70 decibels would result in the cops being called out. Not sure how you can sell your venue as «live music» friendly when nothing could be further from the truth. This place might be great for weddings and such but this is no place for live music, regardless of what they try to sell you.

The Page House is a beautiful historic house in a very odd location on Leander Road. However the grounds are beautiful and for a moderately priced (I assume due to location) it is a pretty good event location. I think this property is for sale and I think i could be a gold mine if someone took it and stepped it up a bit. The house is amazing and grounds are nice and they have a great covered area for dancing, but the plastic flowers and storage at the indoor event area need to be changed up and present a more clean and updated image.
