We come to Souper Salad maybe once every other month because our kids like it for the most part. Of course they are not big salad eaters, but they come for the soup, pizza, muffins, and of course desserts. The Wolf Ranch location is kept fairly tidy, food looks fresh, and they have a wide variety of items. I can’t say that I’ve been to another location to compare it to, but we are pleased with this one. They always have a decent selection of salad choices, pasta salad choices, 4 – 5 soups, taco bar, Mac and cheese, spaghetti, bread sticks, 3 – 4 muffin choices, chili, and of course an ice cream machine. My one complaint which is just Souper Salad in general is, there is not a lot in the way of protein. This is the one reason we don’t frequent that often. I usually have to get a plate of hard boiled eggs or try to find the meatiest soup possible. It is still a good option for families with kids to get a decent meal at a decent price, and it can be healthy depending on what you get.

Me and my family are regulars here at Souper Salad. However, our recent visit has landed my grandmother in the hospital. The only meal she had was ours at Souper Salad, and fell ill shortly after with salmonella. We absolutely love this establishment… just be careful! They are working around a lot of raw foods that can be easily contaminated.

We ate there tonight. The staff was very friendly, the restaurant was very clean… the food although fresh, was not good. The ranch was very bland the chipotle dressing tastes like they took their thousand island dressing and added some cayenne pepper to it… yuck. The taco meat was horrible. Those are just some of the negatives. Now the twice baked potato soup was very good. But I wouldn’t come back again just for the soup.

We eat here on occasion. We try to eat lower carb so there are lots of options on the salad bar. The soups are a little trickier because they don’t have the nutritional value of them listed. I try to stick to broth based and try only to get the broth. I did try a small piece of pizza and it was pretty good. I like that it was thin and crispy. Keeps the carbs lower. It was hot and was pretty tasty. I don’t eat much off the food bar since it is very high carb. They do have roasted veggies, chili, and spaghetti sauce so it give you a few options. Everything is really fresh and they keep it well stocked. And for $ 1.69 more you can purchase chicken breast to go in your salad. The four stars are indicative of similar salad bar restaurants and not high end 5 star establishments. It is s good place to try for a change and it’s always busy here.

Great variety of salad mixings and some good soups. My wife loves to eat here as she is a vegetarian, but I can get enough to eat so I don’t complain. What you do for love. Pizza is probably the worst item they have, no flavor and only is passable if you lived in Texas your whole life. Baked potato not bad, so I can get enough to eat even through I would love to have a hamburger.

Good soups, clean salad bar. The brownies and breads are really good. Their pasta and pizza could use some work, but overall it’s a nice place to eat. The staff has been friendly each time we’ve been in there and it’s great because my son can get small portions of different things and I’m not having to pay for multiple dishes.

After eating at many other Souper Salad locations in multiple cities and states and watch the quality of the food and service tumble downhill on a consistent basis it was an absolute dream to walk in to the Souper Salad in Georgetown and eat there. This one is CLEAN, NICE, and has fresh ingredients. They keep the buffet stocked with lots of items and continuously clean off the counters. I enjoy their chicken salad and other cold salads. You can tell that this location is owned or managed by a dedicated person or persons and they care about your dining experience. Many of the other Souper Salads are just nasty and completely undesirable. Georgetown is GREAT. I am never disappointed eating there, I highly recommend. As is with most restaurants, the service could be a little better but it is good that this is mostly self service(except for your drink)

This is the best Souper Salad anywhere near North Austin. It is independently own so they don’t take coupons you find online. But! The salad bar, desert bar, tacos, soups, chili, and strawberry shortcake are the FRESHEST you’ll find anywhere. Was about $ 20 for 2 adults dinner.

Good food but I won’t be back for one simple reason: the Christian music playing. I prefer my salad without Judeo-Christian indoctrination. If music supporting Islam was playing, people would be outraged. But it’s ok because it’s Christian music? Here’s a clue… not everyone appreciates your attempt to save our souls.

Great selection of food, affordable and super clean. Large salad bar, pizza was lame but taco salad and baked potatoes hit the spot… will be back again

I’m a regular here and usually have great service, but the last two times I had to get my own drink and never had a wait or come to my table. So points are deducted for that reason. The place is clean and offers a Great salad bar with a lot more. 6 soups, breads, pasta salads, baked potatoes, taco bar, and more.

This restaurant is very clean and the food is nice and fresh. I really like coming here when I travel to Georgetown. The selection is good and I really enjoy the service too. This is definitely a go to place in Georgetown!

Lots of variety for everyone — from my 6 and 8 year old kids, gluten free diet mother in law etc. Fruit, salad bar, potato bar, breadsticks, pizza, soft serve, topping desserts. For 1 senior citizen, 2 adults, 1 older child and one younger one. 5 drinks = $ 40.

So the food was, for the most part, pretty good. The salad bar was fresh, and seemed to be replenished often. The soups were good. The only complaint I have is that every time I go they are playing Christian music, too loud. If I wanted to be in church while I am eating I would do so.

This place is a neat gem in tucked in the wolf ranch shopping center. living in RR it feels as if I live closer to Gtown than I do RR proper. This place is as close as I can get to getting my Souplantation aka Sweet Tomatoes fix. They have a salad bar, with soup bar, potato bar, pasta, pizza, tacos i believe. As we were leaving they were taking out fresh garlic breadsticks that smelled DIVINE. Being on a diet is hard here. You think you’re eating healthy… then you get ice cream on the way out. bad decision! lol Staff is friendly. Place seems clean(despite previous rumors of it not being so a couple of years ago.) I have not yet been to the facilities there. and that’s your true indicator usually. If you havent tried it, give it a try.

We like this location as the salad bar is always well stocked and the restaurant is very clean. The only complaint we have ever had is they don’t take many of the corporate issued coupons. Before we went Thursday night we called about a $ 5.99 coupon and were told they accepted it. When we got there the manager was on the register and told us that while they honored it, they charged $ 6.99. When I commented we had called she replied she was sorry but they was not the case after all. I explained we had chosen this location on her employees comment. She said she would honor it and apologized. This is good customer service as we would have left if she did not honor the price. We really like this location but do get frustrated they often do not accept coupons and when they do it’s a higher price.

What can I say – I dig it. To Your Ol’ Pal Shooey, it was good news/bad news. I went to see my cardiologist, and he got on me about my weight and my blood pressure, so I made a conscious effort to do the whole«Salad Thing». My buddy Bruce was in from New Mexico, so we said«let’s go check out the salad place up the street» So here it is to me and my cardiac patient world: GOODNEWS: It’s a salad bar. BADNEWS: It’s all-you-can-eat. So, yes, I did have salad. And a bunch of crazy toppings. And several bowls of soup. And cornbread. And a mini pizza slice. And chocolate pudding. And strawberry shortcake. And a sundae. So the food was, for the most part, pretty good. The salad bar was fresh, and seemed to be replenished often. The soups were good, too – especially the lemon chicken soup. Yummy!!! The other soups were a bit salty. The service was OK, but the manager was very nice and friendly. I’d come back, I think. But i need to exercise a bit more self-discipline next time.

I do not eat here much, as I am not really a fan of salad, however, I make a trip just for the soup. My favorite is the broccoli cheese, and will go just for that reason. The last few times I have been, I have been less than impressed. First off when I walked in it smelled of a dirty dish rag. The service was friendly at the counter, but there were no servers in the area I sat in. Not a problem for me, but would have liked a place to put my dirty dishes. The soup was good, as was the garlic bread sticks. That is all I ate. Later, about 30 – 45 min, I was absolutely sick to my stomach. Don’t know what it was… but I can say it may be a while before I am brave enough to give it another shot.

Got food poisoning from the taco meat. Not a fan of salad buffets and when it literally makes you sick, you never return.

Hubs and I went to Souper Salad today for a late lunch. I have no complaints on the service or the cleanliness of the restaurant. Everything seemed to be spotless and the buffet was very clean as well. A+ The salad bar was really fresh and I saw it being watched closely and wiped down by the staff. A+! My only complaint which really isn’t a complaint as much as it is a suggestion. It’s really hard to find a good place to eat when you are a vegetarian. I’ve not always been vegetarian so I’m finding how difficult it really is to find a good salad. The only really decent salad bar/buffet I’ve ever found is in downtown Austin and that isn’t always practical. That being said, I really wish I would’ve seen more protein choices other than meat on the salad bar. Chickpeas, black beans, pintos, or some type of sprouts would’ve been a nice option. There were kidney beans, but those are kind of meh. So for the price of $ 7 and some change, I would hope to see a few more protein choices and maybe some pickles and baby corn as well. I did greatly appreciate the few gluten free choices. My husband, who doesn’t have special diet needs, did say the pizza bar was almost empty, with only a few slices of cheese pizza on the buffet and no other choices. But other than that his only complaint was that he wished you had real bacon bits. LOL! So, all in all, a nice clean place with great service to get a fresh, run of the mill salad bar.
