I love this place! The breakfast tacos are EXCELLENT! Everything I have had has been fresh with great flavor. The only complaint I have is that they charge for chips and they don’t have fountain drinks. But those things are MINOR this place is WONDERFUL and I highly recommend it!!! We go almost every weekend and will continue to do so!

We used to go to Sierra’s at least once a week. We liked the food and tolerated the poor service and terrible atmosphere. But it really came down to the prices. They were extremely reasonable for the quality food we received. However, on our last visit, we discovered they had increased drastically! The food is ok, but definitely not worth paying the prices they are charging. For the price, you might as well go across the street to La Playa or down the street to Dos Salsas for higher quality food and a much better atmosphere and service. Edit: One thing I forgot to add. Chips are no longer complimentary! What Mexican restaurant charges for chips!!!

I would give 5 stars for the food. –1 star for the place. Its super crowded. Guests’ are extremely loud. Its difficult to enjoy your food. Next time I will order food togo. I came here because I read an article about it in the Community Impact magazine.

I agree with Al W: marginal. Typical tex-mex, food doesnt impress. Tacos are smallish for the price, not a great value. $ 2.39 for 1 crispy taco, even the lunch specials could be more competitive. If Sierras goal is to lure business away from downtown, they’ll need to take a hard look at their pricing and portions. The taco plate at Taco Shack in RR is $ 6.49, here its $ 9!

Tacos marginal, service less than marginal. There are far better choices to be found.

I don’t know why it took us so long to try this place! I had a Chili Relleno and it was the best I have ever eaten! Refried beans were from scratch and had such good flavor. Our new favorite Mexican food!

Good reviews on Unilocal forced us to try this place… because of all the raves, we’re thinking they are absolutely correct. The lunch special two enchilada plate with rice and beans and the mixed fajita plate were winners, great enchiladas and tender flavorful beef and pollo. The chips were crisp and the salsa had a little sneaky bite and tasted fresh made. The waitress that waited on us did an exemplary job, great service and very friendly, will definitely be back for more tasty goodies for prices that are real easy on the wallet. This place now closes at 2 pm so plan accordingly.

This is a little hole-in-the-wall restaurant, but it is exactly what a Mexican restaurant should be. Great service and great food. It’s our go to place for Mexican food.

Nice little hole-in-the-wall kinda place. Great food(we’ve only been for breakfast so far). Good, plentiful coffee. Friendly staff. Extremely affordable. Will be back to try the dinner menu sooner rather than later.

I had the machacado and egg taco and the nopal and egg taco. The machacado was not like real machacado, so I was disappointed with that. It was okay, but there’s better tasting taco places in georgetown. Good prices though.

Amazing breakfast spot, especially with their daily specials it’s an amazing deal for what you get. Ordered the migas special and I couldn’t have been happier with it. Eggs scrambled in tortilla chips, peppers, tomatoes, and cheese, seasoned potatoes, refried beans, 2 crispy strips of bacon, salsa and flour tortillas for $ 4.99?!? All of it was downright delicious. You couldn’t even get that at any fast food place for that price. I only wish they were closer to Austin but this place is a true gem for Georgetown.

Good food … Little house turned into little Mexican restaruant. The chips and salsa were great, servers were very friendly. I got the fajita beef nachos, and they were pretty good — not stand-out amazing, but good. I also tried the crunchy beef taco and the beef tostada, both exceptional and very fresh. The beef enchilada was also very good. I didn’t care for the rice. Overall, great little place.

Awesome breakfast at this place. Everything so authentic. Chilli quilles verde wonderful. Quaint setting. Nice service. English and Spanish. Big servings. Good choice for Saturday or Sunday am. Hidden gem of Georgetown in my opinion

The machacado breakfast tacos are incredibly good. Try one, and you’ll be hooked. Migas are killer. Courteous service.

My boyfriend and I recently tried Sierra’s for the second time and we couldn’t have been more satisfied! We absolutely LOVE the Mexican breakfast. Sierra’s is a fabulous, hole-in-the-wall, delight. The prices are great, the staff is charming and attentive, and the food is not only delicious but also so filling. I think most would agree with me when I say you have to try the Migas special and the Horchata! Sierra’s is a must for anyone interested in great food with great prices!

Tiny little hole in the wall with great food and cheap prices. The server was very friendly and the place was clean which I demand. Definitely going back for breakfast.

This place is cute and friendly… Always like a house turned restaurant. As for the food. It was good. Nothing really popped out for us. Chips, Salsa and Queso were tasty… Queso held its own and didn’t harden up… Salsa was spicy… Both of us had beef enchiladas. Once again, it was good, but pretty standard for most joints. Everything tasted fresh and was hot… Great deal for a lunch special…3.99 Enchilada plate… thats worth the trip.

Sierra’s is the best Mexican place in Georgetown. I always get their lunch special, it’s always filling and inexpensive. My boyfriend’s favorite is the mole, and even though I don’t usually like mole, Sierra’s definitely has the most authentic tasting. I think the restaurant is run by a family, and I get that close feeling every time I eat there. Good service, authentic tasting food, and great for a college budget!
