I was in this evening with the family(6 people) to have our final try for salsas. We ordered our food after 45 minutes waiting for our server to take our order. Once we got our food they brought three plates out to began with. there food was luke warm we had to wait for Tortillas, than 15 minutes later they brought the rest out and it was luke warm and we had to wait for Tortillas agian. There was no manager on dutie, they had all brand new servers on the floor who had no idea what they were doing and they didn’t even know the menu. The family and I will never go back agian. And to be quite honest I shouldn’t even give it a star, it should be a –10 stars.

This business needs an overhaul. Gave them three tries and still terrible service and mediocre food. They need to hire more staff and train the manager about customer service. Went on a Sunday afternoon on a hot July day, and the air conditioning was on the fritz. The manager’s shirt was drenched in sweat. A little disgusting in a restaurant. A friendly suggestion to the manager, block off sections when you don’t have adequate staff and tell people you have to wait so at least the tables you can serve will be happy. You are gaining a terrible reputation and that’s bad news for a restaurant. Apologize in the beginning to your customers, not when the snail service is already frustrating.

Inattentive staff, slow service, priced a little high, for serving size. The food is average TexMex, but bland beans and rice. They do have good salsa verde, and also have horchata, which I love– but it’s not consistent; someone different makes every batch? The staff seems inexperienced, and don’t make much of an effort to keep the customer happy– which would go a long way in making up for the so-so food. Better service and food to be found at the many other similar places around town.

This place has pretty good food. My suggestion is to order in advance and pick it up. The few times we’ve eaten at the restaurant, it’s been slow service and noisy like other’s have said.

Extremely slow service. Food was okay, at best. Waited at the table for ten minutes before being acknowledged, then at least another ten to get our drinks.

The first time my fiancé and I went here it was around lunch time. Average lunch rush, average wait time. No complaints there. Had the carne guisada and it was just wonderful! The second time was last Saturday evening and because the Christmas stroll was happening on the square it wasn’t really busy in here. We got sat by the manager, I assume, looked at the menu and waited… And waited… And waited… We waited for over 10 minutes to be greeted. Looking around, it looked like there were only 3 servers on the floor, even though the restaurant was almost full. I’ve been told they always keep few servers on the floor anyway, but this needs to be changed if they want to work on keeping customers happy. Anywho, I’m pregnant so you know I will get grumpy when I don’t have my food! Servers just kept walking by and glancing our way without a question as to if somebody was helping us. It got frustrating when a table of four had got there almost ten minutes after us and they were greeted immediately! I was just about to get up and get somebody to wait on us when the server in a neighboring section(or it might’ve been his) came to ask if anyone helped us. He apologized for the wait and did take care of us, but after he took our order we rarely saw him again besides one refill and handing us the check. My advice: run the floor with a server or two more and things will run smoother and please customers! Food was good, but I think I’ll be coming in the day time so the service will be better.

No customer service. Had a restaurant gift certificate. They did not accept because they«did not have agreement» with company yet had all the information. We had this issue with a Groupon restaurant in Georgetown. They honored the certificate to keep the customer happy and return. –The beef nachos were greasy. The meat had not been drained. The atmosphere/décor was the only pleasant thing on our visit.

Been here twice now in the past 2 weeks. Both times the service was excellent. I had the fajita taco salad which was delicious. Everyone else enjoyed their food as well. I would order the Texas martini again. Overall a good experience and definitely worth trying again.

The food is ok. The service could be a lot better. I was brought the wrong drink, and the Paloma is not good. Do not order than one. Make sure you get a draft beer, as the bottled Bohemia I had was lukewarm. But the worst part: I ordered queso, and it took our waiter almost 30 minutes to bring it out. We had finished two baskets of chips, and almost two bowls of salsa by the time he brought it out. Meanwhile, he’s waiting on tables and walking around nonchalantly while we wait for our queso. The food finally came out, and it was ok The service needs work, though. Will not be going back. There are better places in Georgetown. Reaffirms my belief to stay away from chains. Adiós, amigos.

I came here on Tuesday because my usual Tuesday spot, la playa, was too packed to sit at the bar. I have driven past this place a few times on my way to Walmart and thought I’d give it a shot. We walked in and no one was sitting at the bar(which is huge btw!) so we sat up there. The bar tender was nice and on top of everything we needed. We ordered two margaritas one regular and one watermelon. The watermelon marg was super super yummy! And it wasn’t like the bartender just threw in some flavor and handed it over. He put it into a blender and blended it up nicely. We ordered queso and it was ok. Nothing mind blowing. The salsa was ok — again, nothing super impressive. My mom ordered the fajitas and said they were ok — not the best but not the worst. And I got some tamales that were actually pretty good! Overall this place was OK. Definitely get a margarita when your here! The only negative thing I’ll say is that my margarita glass had a bunch of fried red salsa on it that looked pretty gross. But it was on the stem of the glass, and not in it, so I didn’t send it back.

We have eaten here a couple of times now and have found most everything to be mediocre. Chips and salsa are very subjective, but I liked both; the chips were light and crisp and the salsa was fresh-tasting and medium spicy. Service was okay but not exceptional. Most everyone in our party liked their dishes well enough, but nobody raved. Prices were moderate but seemed just a bit pricey for what we received. In a state where there’s a Tex-Mex restaurant on just about every corner there is nothing to make this one stand out.

The fajitas were average, the wife liked her steak tacos. Green chili sauce was excellent and definitely cold beer on tap. Service was outstanding, seated promptly despite being Mother’s Day. Letty me was our server and checked frequently as to our needs. Our go to Mexican food place in Georgetown is Dos Salsas. It will continue to be. I was not overwhelmed by the food, plus charging me for another serving of tortillas after buying an entrée in the $ 14 range.

We ate at Salsas tonight. It was very busy, loud and service was very slow. My crispy chicken taco had been sitting under a warming light so long the lettuce was cooked on the plate and the taco was very soggy. The plate had liquid all over it. The black beans had no flavor at all and they charged me the wrong amount for the worst meal ever. Won’t be back!

Food was warmish and not served hot. Service as good, thanks Julia S. Not sure of a second return. Love going to Mexicano Grill but wanting to try one new place.

We had lunch at Salsas on Tuesday, May 13, 2014. It was their«soft opening» so they have not been open long I guess. I got a chicken and steak fajita. They were ok but did not taste like they had any marinade on them and were kind of bland— especially the steak. I like that I could get a nice size salad instead of rice with my meal. The chips and salsas were good(two salsas— or dos salsas). I had a diet coke which tasted watered down. I told my server and he said he would go taste it. I should have not been charged for it. Also, I asked for a slice of lime with my coke and got lemon. When I asked for lime again, he brought me 2 slices INHISBAREHAND! I could not believe it! And put them on the table! Not on a plate or in a bowl. I hope it gets better because I agree, we need something like this in Georgetown. We will probably give it another chance. If the same thing happens with the limes again, I will pitch a holy fit! I was nice this time.
