Hidden gem! Georgetown is very limited in the way of food. I often found myself unhappy with the regulars like Village Pizza and the like. Pomodoris has a decent size menus with many options from pizza to actual steak or fish dinner. The pastas have a good tomato sauce and meatballs that taste of garlic. The wings have always been great but often with a little too much sauce. The fried seafood dinners are resonantly price and just as good as Woodmans. This has become our weekly go to restrurant for good food at a reasonable price. Sunday night is wing night!

We’ve only had take out here and the food is always fantastic! My wife and I feel like the quality is better than the local pizza/sub shops in the Topsfield/Boxford/Georgetown area. Also, the delivery service has always been pretty quick.

Customer service was not impressive, made my order wrong and basically wanted to put up a fight about it. My order was wrong I wasn’t mad until they made a big deal about it. Just fix it not that hard to admit you messed up.

I have been a Celiac since 2006 and have had my fair share of cardboard breads and pizzas at ridiculous prices. Just wanted to get that out there asap. Going into Pomodori’s for the first time today, apparently the only one not tainted with expectations from the previous business, I was pleasantly surprised. Working at sub/pizza shops in all positions(including one in Georgetown years ago), I am rather picky and judgmental of places like this. Not only I, but my friend as well, was pleased with the sanitation, e.g. very frequent glove changing and true knowledge of gluten and contamination issues. A little after noon on a Sunday, it was slow. I came in to indulge in a gluten-free pizza. They have separate pans, cutters, and set-ups for GF products. The two front staff were very pleasant and read back my specific order twice. Prices were in the median of gluten-free products. Not the cheapest, but not as expensive as Flat Breads by any means. The food was brought out to us and our trash was taken away by a lovely worker, unexpectedly. This is not a wait-staffed restaurant, but apparently during at least the slower periods, will be treated similarly. The gluten-free pizza was chewy and crunchy in all the right places. I have never been treated to such a «normal» tasting pizza in my nine years of GF-pizza searching. Uno’s is acceptable, Flat Breads is good yet pricey, and homemade pizza takes the extra effort. The cheese was yummy and the toppings crisp. The crust had an almost pretzel like look/feel/texture/taste. Yum! I was going to leave a review, maybe later, but tonight as I am finishing my leftovers gluttonously, feel the need to spread the word. Maybe this place isn’t like K’s or any other restaurant you’ve been to before, but one thing for sure, this is Pomodori’s building it’s own name for itself. I cannot wait to go back and indulge in food that makes me feel like a normal, non-Celiac person again. Thank you.

Great place to go during work to grab food that will be ready, consistent, and finishable(not a word?) during an hour long lunch break. Not bad but nothing really wowed me. Maybe I haven’t tried enough things on their menu to give a fair review… I really liked their house dressing for their salad, though!

Have to recommend the large chix parm calzone. The thing is huge, delicious and reasonably priced. I have a large family, big hungry boys, and also great for left overs!

Agree with a previous reviewer that the pizza tasted like a frozen supermarket pizza. Also got a roast beef sandwich that tasted ok, but had a very small amount of beef. I have never seen this before. Typically, the beef flows out of the sides, but at this place, you couldn’t see the roast beef at all. Reminded me of the old Wendy’s commercial, ‘Where’s the beef?’

I ordered take out for the first time last night from Pomodori, in Geirgetown. I really had a craving for pizza and ordered the Pomodori special. This was the WORST pizza I have ever had in my life. The frozen supermarket pizza is better! Don’t throw your money away, there is better pizza, although not great, in Georgetown. This place needs a lot of help, the dough SUCKS and the pizza overall is flavorless! Sorry Pomodori I will never be back.

I was sad to see jimmy k’s was gone and there was ANOTHER pizza/sub shop in Georgetown, but it’s a little different. First of all the menu is huge, which is a little overwhelming. I tried the sin city burger pizza, it was really good, the next time I went in we ordered the kids steak tips and a grilled chicken sandwich, both were good. I had heard they were originally going to offer breakfast, which was a great idea, but it never happened…

First time I ordered here it was pretty good. Second time and on, it seems to be just ok… I am not a fan of the pizza… Also loved to go to Jimmy K’s for breakfast… this location served breakfast for 1 week than discontinued.

Everytime I have ordered food from here it’s been top notch. Roast beef is pretty good and their chicken parm sub was great. They have a bunch of good stuff.

Only two things I’ve tried from their menu are the chicken and steak kabob salad and their grilled chicken guacamole wrap. Absolutely delicious! Salads are a hit or miss and this place has great salads. That wrap is also to die for.

Two weeks ago came to the Georgetown restaurant for the first time(first time after it was Jimmy K’s). Ordered a large Roast Beef — cooked medium well, with side of small fries, and a water. Order came out within 10 minutes, stayed there and ate. There was quite a bit of beef and French fries — too many fries for me to eat, so I shared with my friends. The roast beef was cooked exactly as I had asked and was delicious. Yesterday, I stopped in a second time and placed the same exact order as the week before. Took about 10 minutes to come out. Though, this second time the food was just«ok», not quite delicious. The sandwich was smaller and the beef was overcooked, which made it taste dry. This time I didn’t have as many fries as the previous week, so I was able to finish them up in a very short time. The differences with the two visits could simply be as a result of who was working each time, how well the cooks do with their work, and how busy the place is at the time of the order. Both times, I visited the same time — 630pm. Both times were busy, with a line of people waiting to order, and people calling in for take out. I will come back here again because it’s a convenient location when out in the area for something to eat quick. However, the next visit, I will most likely choose a different meal. Their calling card is roast beef, pizza, and seafood. I’m not a fan of ordering seafood at a place like this, so far from the coast. I prefer to buy seafood at a restaurant directly on the water or within arms reach. I may try the pizza or a nice grilled chicken salad.

The food’s ok. Nothing exciting, but nothing wrong with it either. Unfortunately, people have become accustomed to having a diner here with table service and breakfast. There isn’t even salt & pepper on the tables. Doesn’t meet our needs. Oh, and the TV is too loud. Captions with the sound muted is best for an eating establishment. They advertised that they would serve breakfast, but they don’t.

You know it’s good when the hubs(who is a chef) says he’d drive down from Kennebunkport just to eat here!!! The onion rings are the BEST we’ve ever had!!! I had a large roast beef sandwich the roast beef was rare but not bloody to make the bun soggy and a mess, lots of flavor & simply delish! Their Italian was fabulous of course I had to take a bite of the hubs… Believe it or not so many places can completely butcher an Italian, this was NOT the case here!!! Now we are going to order a pizza to take home for dinner!!! Great job Pomodori’s!!!

Home made chicken salad. Place is clean(newly remodeled). Chicken kabob sub could have used one more piece of chicken on the large was needed. Flavor was good. Went to have breakfast on Sunday, greeted to a sign saying Breakfast has been suspended for the time being, don’t know why. Jimmy K’s was packed every weekend for breakfast. Got the pizza, it was tough. I wrestled with the slice to eat it. Got a large pizza, ½ meatball and they quarter the meatballs and didn’t put many on. Got the chicken salad sub(home made) delicious. Rolls are always fresh and aren’t freezer burnt. I will try again, I hope it was just new opening situations.

Pomodori just opened in Georgetown and I’m a fan. The renovations they did to the space is beautiful! They’re serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Between a couple of us we got a couple of subs & salads, french fries, and a cheese pizza. Everything was delicious! I’m glad they decided to expand to Georgetown. I only wish they had a liquor license so I could have a cold beer with my pizza when I decide to eat there!
