Let’s be real. It’s a motel 6. You get what you are willing to pay for. BUT, both the night and the morning watch/receptionist were both SONICE. we got there late. Around 11pm late, with our two kids. She unlocked the door and let us in and gave us a room and even gave us military discount. The room was actually in decent shape! The beds however were, I’m pretty sure, bricks with sheets on them LOL. The next morning I went downstairs to get coffee and because the cups were super small I asked if I could take a few. The lady was so nice she came out from behind the counter and offered to help me fill up some cups then asked me if I needed her assistance carrying them up to our room. She didn’t have to do that and it was very appreciated from this tired tired tired momma!

I left with bites on my fingers, hands, arms, ears, neck, shoulders, chest, back, legs, feet, and toes. When I contacted Motel 6, they replied that it is not their responsibility. When I wrote the owner of the motel, he didn’t bother to respond. The swelling lasted a month. Motel 6 leaves the light on for you to help keep the bedbugs in hiding. Oh, and no WiFi. And, neither the owner nor Motel 6 responded to a subsequent letter.

It’s a Motel 6. No one expects a spa and concierge service at a Motel 6. If you do, you’re dense and deserve your disappointment. The rooms here are clean. The staff is friendly. There’s a(small) pool for the kids. It’s a perfect place to stay over a weekend when your septic tank backs up into your house.
