This is my regular taco spot. The fajita tacos are the BOMB! The green salsa is to die for and if you don’t take spicy, skip it or else you will die!

Update: Food is still really good, but service is seriously lacking. This review is based solely on service. They need more help, especially on the weekends. You’ll be waiting awhile to be noticed and waiting even longer for your food to come out. Due to the lack of staff, sometimes they’re forgetful about your order too. We still come here when we’re craving some authentic Mexican food, but expect to wait. It looks like they’re doing the best they can, the wait staff(usually 2 maybe 3 people at best) are usually scrambling around, but since the restaurant expansion they could seriously hire some more people to assist, at least on the weekends.

Have only come here once, and probably wont be back. The big burrito was… medium sized, overpriced, and not all that great.

Two words-homemade tortillas. And fresh everything. The chorizo is different than I’m used to: an orange greasy concoction, but this chorizo is red and not greasy. But still delicious. The barbacoa is marinated in yuck. So that’s the reason for a 4 star review. Please note, this is not an ideal place to dine. There’s only about 4 tables and the service is awkward.

This place sucks! ! I just moved to Georgetown a few months ago, driving distance to this place. I just ordered 2 burritos at 7.99, I’m from California so I ordered 2 beef fajita burritos with Pico de gallo, sour cream, cheese and guacamole. the damn burritos were small and end up costing 23.00 … that’s 11.50 a damn burrito. I asked about there flauta plate 7.99 comes with 3 smh… I advise you all to stay away from this rip off shop. Dos Salsa is 110% better!!!

Awful! Place was dirty. Owner was very rude. Maybe because we don’t speak Spanish? Who knows. Maybe she was a having a bad day. I won’t bother her with my business in the future.

Stopped by this place Sunday Morning for a quick breakfast. I had the menudo which was quite overpriced. $ 8.95 for a small or $ 9.95 for the large. What I got had a big piece of pata.. not. a. fan. What I got was worth $ 5.95. My husband got 3 tacos: Al Pastor(good), Barbacoa, pretty good and the third not sure he wasn’t impressed with that one either. NOTE: please know they put REDONION on everything. no where des it say it will be topped with onion or seeping with raw onion juice but rest assure it will be. You must order it otherwise because they wont ask you. They get credit for speaking English and having great service.

This is the best kind of hole-in-the-wall Mexican joint. The menu is a mix of interior Mexican and Tex-Mex dishes. The portions are generous, the prices are low, and the service is friendly, if not always prompt. The food is always phenomenal and never fancy.

Referred by Dallas Observer article on great tacquarias on IH35. Delicious picadillo tacos and torta. Excellent hot sauce as well. Lunch for two was only $ 11.00. Waitress was very good.

If you want Mexican food not Tex-Mex then this is the place. Barbacoa Torta is off the hook along with their red chile. My son in law born and raised in San Antonio said the Pastor tacos is the best he had. My wife loves their Gorditas. If Mexicans are eating there then that is all you really need to know. Yes it’s a hole in the wall. But this place is all about the food period.

Nice small cozy restaurant tucked away. Decent food. Bad service. Went in on a Saturday for lunch. Restaurant was about 50% capacity, but felt very rushed. Had to hunt the waitress down for everything including menus, silverware and refills. Hate to say it, but felt we could have gotten better service if we spoke Spanish ‘authentically’ as the families around us did and received much better service. They brought us the wrong food and were out of queso. Husband liked the Barbacoa burrito and my bean and cheese burrito was ok but we felt $ 20 was a little much for only those two things and a Dr. Pepper. Won’t go back.

This is a hole in the wall mex-mex place, if you want a street taco, this is the place to be. I enjoyed a carne guisada taco… slightly chewy, and a taco el pastor that was very good… both had significant heat. If you’re looking for tex-mex…this is not the place, my wife had the ground beef enchiladas, not much sauce, very little ground beef, and not much cheese, and spicy as hell. They hit the table about 5 minutes after they were ordered, $ 8.99 for below average enchiladas… They don’t have iced tea, canned drinks only, noticed a bottle of hand sanitizer on each table… that’s a new one on me.

This is not a lavish chain restaurant, it’s a small mom and pop establishment. We stopped here on the way back to Austin only because Unilocal had good reviews. Wow, people are not kidding about the authenticity this Mexican restaurant has. We ordered breakfast tacos of beans and cheese, egg and potatoes, and barbacoa. All of them came with hand made flour tortillas that would make your grandmother proud. The red salsa was excellent too, but stay away from the habanero salsa if you can’t take the heat. The owner was very nice and said the restaurant plans to expand to the suite next door. Can’t want to stop here again when I’m traveling on I-35.

Wow… We stopped by yesterday for some tacos to go, and the small dining room was packed. The aroma of this place is heavenly, and it was a good indication of how incredible the food is! I can’t wait to go back. The tortillas were fresh from the griddle and crêpe-like. My migas were outstanding, and the bf’s bistek was perfect. Beautiful salsas, too. On a whim, I ordered the flan, and the flavor and texture was better than any other I’ve tasted. Perfection!
