Lexington is fortunate to have some outstanding caterers (Apiary, Wild Thyme). This is not one of them. The food was mediocre, at best, and not at all appealing to the eye. Everything was cold and tasteless. There were chicken cutlets with no color or flavor, baked ziti (My mother would have been horrified.), mushy scalloped potatoes in a pool of grease, a dry, raw broccoli salad with grapes and raisins, and pecan pie and brownies (What’s with the brownies? I’m over them.) for dessert. I’m always at a loss as to how a caterer can put out an inferior product and remain in business. I guess some people will eat just about anything placed in front of them!
