Bouffard Transfer

We moved from a 2 story to a 1 story. They were almost finished and were rushing and they dropped my buffet in my entryway and broke the leg off and there were numerous dents and gashes in the wood. I was upset not just about them dropping the buffet but when they dropped it, it almost hit my daughter. They were rushing and didn’t have the buffet strapped to the dolly. They were apologetic and said that it would take a few days to a week to get it fixed because they had a good repairman. It has been over a month and I still don’t have my furniture. I keep being told that it won’t be much longer. I can rarely get a call back and most of the time they don’t answer the phone. Never again!

I am moving cross country by myself and needed help loading the truck and also delivering a stackable to Austin. After Ace Moving stood me up 3 times in 1day after a 3 week reservation, confirmation, and long standing relationship, I was in a panic that quickly moved to tears. I searched CL and found a mover who was a smartass. In tears, I contacted Justin Warren with Bouffard. I almost fainted when he showed up 15 minutes later not to look but to actually work. All by himself he loaded the truck literally picking up one couch by himself. My truck was professionally packed in no time at all and he also made sure everything was tied down with rope. He then moved the stackable like it was nothing and drove it down to Austin. Not only dd Justin quickly restore my faith but he simply made a horrid day 100% better. Simply put, I dont know what I would have done without Justin.

Great movers. We have used them twice in the past two years. On time, survey what all goes, careful with stuff, clever in maneuvering furniture around tight areas.
The guys say yes sir and no ma’am, work hard and speedily. We’ve had other movers dilly dally and laze about like there’s no hurry.
Due to my own miscalculation we had too much stuff for one truck but they figured out how to pack it all in. Very impressive.

These guys came highly recommended to us and they did not disappoint. They are very experienced movers and not a single thing was damaged.

We first used Bouffard in 1980, moving from Round Rock to Georgetown. Bouffard has been our go-​to choice of moving company since then, and our extended family has also used them many, many times, moving items to Dallas, San Antonio, South Austin, and here in Georgetown. Many of these moves involved several stops before the final destination, as we were emptying a parent’s home, consolidating furniture, and moving from one home to another.
In the past 2 – 3 years, it has become almost impossible to have the owner return a phone call, whether it be for an appointment to get a bid, or a moving date. I have called, literally begging the receptionist/​office manager to PLEASE have him return our calls. It has been to no avail. The owner either needs to hire better front office help, OR learn to return customer calls.
This last time was the final attempt for us. We now use a wonderful, dependable, AND much less expensive company out of Austin and have been extremely pleased.
It is a shame the downward spiral that has occurred, because Britt and his workers have/​had a great opportunity here in Georgetown, but the lack of customer service and just plain courtesy, is sorely lacking.

earlier than quoted-​gotta love that!!!

This is the only team that I trust in my area for personal or professional moving and transfer. The staff are professional, honest, friendly, fast and always exceed my expectations! Bouffard Tranfer is fantastic! They have moved my family a number of times and we’ve always been happy. We haven’t use their packing services, but boxed everything up ourselves. They took care of it from there (even moving furniture around the living room until I was happy with the placement).

They charge an hourly rate. They will estimate an amount of time for you… and they were right on target with his estimate.
I moved across town. They were super-​careful with my extremely heavy glass table and hooked up the washer and dryer.
Two of the guys had grown up in the area and could even tell me a little bit about the neighborhood where I bought the house. Great local service
