Only reason they would get 1 star is cause they deliver. Worst beef and vegi, shrimp and vegi I’ve probably ever had. Asked for alot of yellow mustard and got 3, asked for 2 sets of chop sticks and got one. Take ur money else where.

Very good place for Asian-American food. Nice sushi bar and Mongolian grill. Very fresh food every time I’ve eaten there.

I bit into a dessert and I strongly believe there was mold in it. I usually can get food down but I literally had to spit it out and cleanse my tongue manually it was so so so terrible. The waitress took the rest and they took 2 dollars off my bill. The sushi was fair and so was the rest of the buffet food, but the moldy dessert killed it for me!

Love eating here. The buffet is not anything hugely special or outstanding however Fri and Sat sushi bar is great! They can keep the Steamed crab legs… Give me the sushi! Much better than the other choice in Georgetown! Saki is not the greatest but it isn’t terrible either.

I rank this a notch above a typical Chinese buffet place. Firstly, I live in Georgetown and they deliver. That is a huge plus for me. The price isn’t cheap but it is fair and the portions are huge. I normally get 3 or 4 meals from a delivered order. The buffet is extensive. Typical offerings and a lot of them. I will agree that they have too much«American» food on the buffet for my liking but I’ve also been able to bring coworkers here for lunch even though they aren’t fans of Chinese food. Everyone loves the sticky rolls. The grill is great. The food isn’t the freshest but it’s still a ton fresher than the pre-prepared items. You can also choose your spice level which is great for my husband who likes his to make him sweat. Bring a couple of dollars to tip the guy at the grill! I never bother with the dessert bar — I have yet to find a Chinese buffet where the desserts don’t taste like cardboard. They do have banana pudding and soft serve ice cream, though I typically fill up on savory items. The sushi selection is good. I do not have a refined sushi palate but I enjoy it. I have never had a problem with the service. The woman who runs the place, perhaps the owner, can be quite short and distracted but it has never interfered with my meal. The waitresses are attentive and quick with refills and cleaning finished plates. Overall I do recommend a visit!

Ever since we left the comfortable suburbs of Chicago for life in rural Kentucky, I’ve missed eating out at different restaurants. The options out in this area are pretty slim: fast food, a mexican restaurant, and a couple pizza places. Lexington has plenty of options, but most days it isn’t worth the hour drive for a simple meal. And Georgetown? There’s a few gems, I’m sure. Just haven’t had time(or money) to explore them yet. When some new friends suggested eating at Asian Royal Buffet last night, I was soooo pumped! Finally! Something that wasn’t pizza or fast food or soup at home! Something I haven’t tried yet! And a buffet! Chinese food! Sushi! Old favorites that I didn’t realize I had missed. Oh, yes. Located near the Walmart in a strip-mall setting, Asian Royal Buffet doesn’t look like much. Yet, the interior of the restaurant is a pleasant surprise: decorated in some kind of Asian tropical style with plenty of tables throughout and a massive buffet in the back. The place isn’t just a buffet — it’s also a japanense/chinese restaurant with usual dishes. We ate at the buffet, though. The buffet is wonderful and seemed to be consistently fresh: an entire row of sushi, an entire row of desserts, and several rows of asian cuisine, salad fixings, american foods, and other things you usually find at an asian buffet. There’s also a mongolian grill where you can select a variety of meats & veggies and have them cook it for you with different sauces blended in. Very cool. The sushi was the best surprise here. Never seen a buffet with a wide variety of sushi available. They even had Strawberry-Kiwi rolls. Amazing! I could eat those all day. I consumed sooo much sushi. Sooo much vegetable fried rice. Sooo much stir-fried veggies. YUM. Our service was also pretty good, even though the waitress was sometimes too attentive. At least it’s better than being ignored and left with empty cups of water. Our cups were always filled. Whee! So… maybe this is just a typical chinese buffet. But for me, it was pretty darn awesome. Just what I needed. And ohhh boy, did I leave feeling incredibly stuffed. Keeping this place on my radar, for sure.

I’m usually the type of person that really enjoys buffets because I like to eat haha. But this is definitely not one of those places I’ll want to revisit. Our server was continually«checking on us» but kept checking if we were ready to pay, I finally got really annoyed and gave her the money to pay and if I get poor service I give a poor tip, because she only swung around twice and took one plate and only gave us one refill; but our server was basically rushing us out the door! So I gave a bad tip because I was really annoyed with her service and she basically demanded a bigger tip by saying«Your bill is $ 15.48 you only gave me $ 16» and I said«I know.» And then after that she didn’t pay us any attention at all. Really hate this place.

Honestly not very good. I will not go back. I went based on reviews. Expensive and less then mediocre. Not even your typical Chinese buffet. Horrible experience.

All right. So today I went to this place since I was doing an event in Georgetown, KY. This was my first trip to this city, in Kentucky, btw. I enter and immediately I am seated by a gal. Honestly, I think she was a bit rash. Idk. I thought she was kind of rude. Anyway, I continue on and since I got the buffet I saw the HUGE amount of food. Definitely more food variety than other Asian food places, I have been to. They had many kinds of sushi and California rolls. They had the basic Chinese food that you would expect: the variety of black pepper chicken, pork, honey glazed chicken etc. etc. I just decided to try all the food I could in two plate fulls. Since I did not have much time with my 30 minute lunch, I just grabbed whatever I could and scarfed it down. I was sad that I was not able to even get to the dessert. :’(The dessert buffet area btw is HUGE! Now the three star comes from the fact that they charged me to take the food out; even when I told them I had to go back to work. Additionally, I told them that I would hate to waste it. All right, so in most buffet places, I know people could just eat as much as they can and take out the free food; but seriously, I had a valid reason. Good Samaritans do not get the benefit of the doubt? Starving people in Africa ring a bell? The waitress kind of gave me a hard time when I had to pay my bill, mocking me when I said I was in a rush and thus the reason I needed to get the bill. I was not able to just pay the takeout and bill in one shot. I had to pay the bill, then go all the way to the register to get my stupid food weighed and then get another charge. I had a $ 5.99 coupon; but I ended up spending $ 14 total for everything because of this. You CANNOT negotiate in Asian restaurants I guess. If I had a coupon for $ 5.99, WTF makes you think that the buffet is worth more money to charge me to take it out? You guys are losing money anyway by your own fault. UGH!

Typical Chinese buffet. Vast selection but failed to bring out enough steamed king crab legs, since that seemed to be what the masses wanted. People would stop and stand in front of the container waiting for the servers to drop off a handful of crab legs. Then it looked like a poorly executed tactical assault. I viewed it as a dinner and a show. My children’s favorite thing was the vast dessert selection and the soft serve machine, so their opinions are null and void. It worked for a fast meal for five at under $ 60 bucks so I cannot complain too much.

This is just another average Chinese Buffet. They have a lot of room for larger groups and a separate room if you wish to have an entire room to your group. They have a self service hibachi grill and sushi options. They have a salad bar section and the regular american/mexican/asian fare. Not bad over all. I think it is the best buffet in georgetown. They do have a decent adult beverage selection as well. I would recommend stopping in if you are wanting asian food and in a hurry. Great service and friendly staff.

Terrible, this is one of the worst Chinese Buffets I’ve ever been to. First, when you walk in the place seems dirty, stained carpet and greasy looking upholstery. But I’ve overlooked worse when the food makes up for it. The food here is pathetically bad(besides the sushi — it was alright for a buffet). The buffet consist of six bars: dessert, salad, 2 entrees, sushi and hibachi. The hibachi was your typical, though everything looked dried out and old. The sushi bar had about 7 or 8 different kinds that mainly consisted of rolls and a few nigiri. The entrees is where I felt the most let down. Almost one whole bar consisted of fried food, ranging from mock KFC to tempura vegetables; it was all bad. The other entrée bar had more«traditional» Chinese buffet food like General Tso’s, broccoli beef and fried rice. I tried a little sample of a lot of the entrees and they were flavorless, tough and overcooked. The salad bar looked rough and mainly consisted of mayonnaise /prepared salads. The desert bar was almost comical in that they had opened Little Debbie snacks and generic Fig Newtons and either left them in the plastic packaging or put them on plates. Although I’m a big fan of cosmic brownies, I feel that maybe the space could have been used for more traditional Chinese desserts. They did have a soft serve machine that produced alright ice cream. They had a chocolate fountain but the items for skewering next to it were brown, dried up pineapple and banana, and a few crusty marshmallows. I really liked the hot and sour soup and thought it was some of the best I’ve had in a long time. Again, the sushi was not bad, but when I go to a Chinese buffet I want good Chinese food. I can honestly say this was the worst Chinese food I’ve ever had. I can’t believe the good reviews this place has received. I’m new to the Lexington area and this is the first Chinese Buffet I tried because of the good reviews; please let this not be the best!

Typical Chinese buffet fair but they have an fairly good(for the area) sushi buffet unlike many places. Typical prices from my experience and very friendly wait staff. Buffet is sizable with many options for fans of chinese, sushi and american fair. Nothing really blew me away for the food but having a full section dedicated to sushi was a great bonus. In many ways getting the sushi buffet is cheaper than ordering sushi from the menu and it’s made in small enough batches to keep it from sitting out too long. Nothing over the top so three stars. Would’ve gone 3.5 but couldn’t and let’s be honest, it’s a chinese buffet so it’s not going to get a 5 star rating from me unless it blows me away. This one is great, no doubt, but not a 4 to 5 star in my opinion.

If you’re passing through Georgetown, KY, on I-75, this might be a «can’t miss» destination for your dining pleasure. Above average food quality and selection. Sushi for a reasonable price as well. Hard to beat. Highly recommended

I LOVE Chinese food and this is my favorite and I have been all over the county and have eaten at many Chinese restaurants. Their buffet offers a variety of dishes. Whenever I am near or in Georgetown, Ky I MUST eat here.

It is such a good find … The price PF $ 10.95 for dinner is amazing. The sushi is quite good, especially if you are there early. I found the staff to be very considerate and as soon as you get up form your next dish … Your old plates are cleared, water os filled … The food. A lot of selections. If you cannot find several things you would like you are too fussy …

We travel all over the country and eat at a lot of Chinese buffets. If not the very best, this has to be in the very top two or three. The selection was huge and everything was hot and delicious. Our waitress was very efficient and attentive, and the total bill for two of us, with tea and a coke, was $ 23. We’ll go back every time we’re in the area.
