Great views, great wine, and solid service. The band that was playing, legacy duo, was very good as well. My wife and I will be back soon. If you have the chance sample their ice wine with hananero – it is amazing.

The best food for a winery. If you are looking for gluten free meals then you have to stop by.

This is one of the nicer, more mainstream Ohio wineries. Friendly people, nice room to sample wine. Cheese plates and flatbreads available while sampling wine. Good, but really not great wine by my taste. They do have a wine club membership. Joining gets you a free flatbread on your next visit. Frequent visits earn you more.

2nd visit to Laurello, I love their set up with multi rooms and large patio. Enjoyed their wines, had the chocolate cellar flight which was all red. The woman behind the counter seemed like she was done dealing with wine tasters. Very short with us, not friendly, just pouring the wine and get us off her counter fast.(Inside). We never really got to talk or ask about the wines, I think that’s a huge miss on her part. We sat along the trees for some shade on the patio, and had huge sewer odors, if you keep your nose in your glass you can’t smell it. I was disappointed for my second visit, we didn’t stay long. 1st time I was on a tour, and the man that explained everything from Laurello was great! So far this place is hit or miss for me!

Great selection of wines and great service. Wines are a little pricey, but the tasting was reasonable.

Love the atmosphere the people and some of their wines. We had their pizza and paninni and they were delicious also. A must stop when you are out in the area.

Stopped in for lunch on 9÷28÷13 and ended up staying 2 hours. Wine was great, cheese plate was awesome. Gluten free pizza was almost as good as the regular pies which were great but that’s typical of GF pizzas. The people here were so friendly and inviting and you could tell they were appreciative of our business. This was our first visit and I regret not coming here on our past visits to wine trail. Absolutely recommended!

I took my husband here but we were used to a more boisterous atmosphere with live music and attentive staff. We entered the front door and stood there for a long time because there was no hostess or signs to say what you should do. The one man behind the bar was very busy helping a group of customers who seemed to be doing a tasting. So, we sat down and then ordered with him later on when it cleared up a bit. We did a wine tasting and the wine was good, but not enough to buy a bottle. It was difficult to know which ones you tasted because there is nothing written and when you go up to ask, the gentlemen is very busy. We tried the eggplant caponata served on crostini. Good. We tried the eggplant panini. Good. It could’ve used some condiment, like hummus or something. The potato chips, served in their retail bag, were outdated by a month and tasted as such. But we applaud them for having some vegetarian offerings. I went back up to buy a cookie and paid with a $ 10. I received $ 3 back. Expensive cookie or was I given the wrong change? I don’t think we’ll be back, though the host did say«come back.»

Frankly, Im shocked by all the positive reviews. My summary for this place would be «keep on driving, no reason to stop here». The staff barely tolerated our presence and frankly acted like they couldnt less if they had customers there or not. We watched as two other couples quickly knocked back their glasses of wine and got out as fast as they could after experiencing the same quality of service we were exposed to. The décor is the blandest of any winery in the area — consisting of Value City Furniture tables arrayed in a non-descript common area. The wine is just«ok». We didnt bother with the food as the menu seemed to be an afterthought. Again, I have to express puzzlement over the positive reviews Ive read about this place. You can get better service, better wine and/or better food at any other winery in the area… so…why bother? Maybe I would have gone softer if any of the staff had bothered to smile or say hello, but… there you go. Oh, and if you only get two glasses of wine, which most couples will do, you cant pay with a credit card — get this… it comes to $ 9.95 and they wont take a credit card unless you spend $ 10. Really? This will be conveyed to you in the same«why are you wasting my time» manner in which they impart all information to you. We will NOT be back.

Cozy coffee shop feel with great service, great food, and GREATWINE. I had the best Riesling here out of all the wineries I visited nearby. Couches to sit on and drink wine with great friends? Priceless!

What a perfect place to spend a lazy Saturday evening! The staff took great care of us and answered any questions that we had. They had a large selection of wines available, and even though we were too late for their official tasting hours, they do still offer tastings(just not in a packaged deal!) I have to agree that the ice wine here is fantastic! The Rodavi was definitely one of my favorite local wines that I’ve tasted. They also had several sweet wine selections for the husband who isn’t really a wine person — it really was a nice selection! They had food(small plates, really) available to order, but we did not try anything. I hope that we will be able to go back soon — definitely worth the trip from Cleveland!

Loved this place. Stop number 2 on the 7 winery tour. A brother sister team runs the wine tasting area. They let us try anything we wanted and even invited us to help bottle the next day! Unfortunately we were unable to perform even the tiniest of tasks, let alone bottle anything for consumer consumption. We even met the namesake of one of their wines. He was hilarious and provided much entertainment. It looked like a nice place to host a function, there were a couple larger side rooms for groups. The main room was quaint and had a couple fire places for ambiance. We bought a bottle of the«drag queen» wine and shared it, left there feeling pretty good. It was my favorite winery of the 7, although the rest are considerably fuzzy in my memory.

The ice wine is in my opinion the best thing to get here. They have two different types– the Sweet Genevieve, and a red ice wine(can’t remember the name). I was impressed with the Sweet Genevieve, and was pondering getting a bottle, but the price for this ice wine is $ 32 so I held off. I also sampled some Niagara and Naso Rosso wine, which were both quite good.

It’s an honor to be the first to review this place. I’ve been going here a couple of times a year for over 5 years now. It’s one of the wineries on my «circuit» in the Grand River Valley area. They have great wines for Ohio. The Cosmo and Rodavi are two of the best reds I’ve found in Ohio. As for whites, their Riesling is to my liking as is the Chardonnay(although a bit weak in flavors). I don’t like sweet wines, but their Ice Wine — Sweet Genevieve is to die for. It tastes like candy and goes very good with fruit or ice cream(dump it on, if you dare, at $ 30 a bottle). They have a fireplace that burns on cold winter nights. With limited seating in range of the heat, get there early and don’t leave together or you’ll lose your seat. Entertainment is always about the same, a guitar player doing light-folksy tunes. The food is average. In summary, this is a great place to end an afternoon of driving in Ohio’s wine country(unless of course you fancy a nice Italian meal with your wine, in which case, you’ll want to go to Ferrante).
